Ok I was Literally just telling my friend yesterday about a Japanese porcelain cat figurine piggy bank I had. I got it from a thrift store. It the one with the paw up for businesses but it is in a western style to look like a kitten that has tucked itself into wristwatch on the ground. I only realized it was probably a Japanese business charm month after getting it. Anyway one day I came in with groceries and after setting them in the table I saw it glare at me and make a cruel joke. I took it and smashed it. Maybe it was just a joke or maybe it resented having another owner. I will stay clear of things are specifically meant to act as a charm for a business.
Yes they usually place it in a place of business to bring in money luck, hence the paw ushering in money. The Kutani cat is meant to be placed at home, you don't want to put it in a place of business otherwise it will be sleeping.

I like that the colored jades have other minerals like chromium that add to the healthful properties of the stone. Plus clear is so rare. Your bangle is divine.

I see a misuse of Terminology here. The term "Muttonfat jade " In nephrite is the equivalant to the "Imperial jade" in jadeite.(Just because it is beautiful doesn't mean it is imperial,If it is a teeni tiny more green /a little lighter or good colour with Inclusions would not be considered Imperial) The highest quality,the absolute pure tremolite ,Pure white with no colour variations would only be considered Muttonfat jade.

I have a lavender jade pendant. One thing I notice is that lavender jadeite doesn’t photograph well. The lavender often appears washed- out and whitish in photos. Its true beauty is to see it in-person. You have a beautiful collection.

Hello Libradalynda, you would need to measure according to the size of your knuckles, the best way is to go to a jade shop and get them to measure what is the most comfortable size for you as everyone has different sizes.
