I'd like to see ice fang do something against objectives. And Earthquake needs a faster startup time.
If buzzwole can pick up rayquaza, mamo should be able to as well.
I love ice fang. It makes me think of Diablo from HOTS and I just love big and stompy
I've always been a Mamoswine lover. The resonate guard being added has made me love Mamo even more. I've been dominating lane phase with mamo even more now. There have even been times I've outkilled all the attackers and carries on my team 😂
I’d definitely add a heal to snorlax’s yawn, based on max hp, and number of enemies hit with yawn.

I think Mamo should get a shield every time he hits an ice fang or destroys an icicle crash with tackle/horsepower/earthquake. That one change would make him pretty good I think
People shouldn't be sleeping on pokemon like this, its probably not very comfortable

I would genuinely say the exact opposite. It has arctic fur, which means it's going to be luffy as heck, and there's room on its back for at least two people, you *should* be sleeping on it

Mamoswine is definitely pretty damn good. Ice Fang has so much potential, along with Earthquake.
buff greedent: defense stats increase and higher cc on buller seed and covet. also covet cd decrease by a second or 2 and either fix the bullet seed bug or make bullet seed hindrance resistance. I also think tackle should have some more cc on it but that moght be abit much. the other changes should be enough to make greedent feel more like a defender
If I could buff any defender, I would fix the tracking on its boosted basic. It misses way more than it should...

This unfortunately is how a good chunk of my games have been going lately. The entire team just stays top lane for minimal value the entire game.
That’s a new thing I’ve noticed too. They all just go one lane.
It's like they want to break that first goal as fast as possible, but it's like they fail to realize the second goal can be defended much easier. A whole team can be taken out on those goals so pushing immediately to that goal only makes life harder. Not only harder but gives them a ton of catch up xp when they aren't even behind because you rushed the goal.
I defend the first goal, but if it gets broken I kinda celebrate lol...
I'd buff Greedent. Specifically give him crowd control, maybe make belch a shove and bullet seed a slow. I think they're the one defender who has virtually no CC, and it's the main reason why Greedent can't be a viable pick to help your team. The only way current Greedent is good is if the damage is overtuned, which isn't good for the meta or the identity of the character. Add some CC to the moves and Greedent can be a real defender like their friends.
I feel some CC would definitely fit the character model because let's face it Greedent is that kind of defender that annoys you so much you want to chase it down and kill it. So giving belch a shove and bullet seed a slow would make him much more annoying...Many times back in the day I would harrass someone have them chase me into my team. Classic Greedent back in the day. Or the old bullet seed as they try to score always got a good laugh from me. You could tell by how they would chase me down over everyone else I had done my job.I remember playing jungle invade Greedent back when it was good at it, and that right there would make a jungler razor focus on you the whole game, and if you were a good escape artist took their jungler away from team fights.
If it gonna get a buff make it so it evolves before level 9, its only downside is its late game evolution
I would give Mamoswine a little recovery buff, The reasoning behind it can even be that because his ice attacks are so cold they are like repairing him kind of I know he's not entirely made of ice but still, but if he successfully hits two Pokémon with either ice fang or icicle crash he recovers 10% of his missing health
I've been trying to play ranked from past 3-4 days... I only get idiots who wander around but have achieved masters before.
Just showing up for objectives and leveling up gives you a high chance of wining you don't need to steal farm from teammates and wander around. They make a guaranteed win into an ambiguity.

Mamoswine is my go-to pick whenever I choose defender. I just love how his kit revolves around CC and how you can even chain up to 4 stuns on an enemy. I only wish that they'd adjust the amount of delay on earthquake
I do muscle band, rapid fire scarf, and weakness policy on Mamo. Such a fun build! I wish they'd fix the tracking on his auto attacks though
yeah the auto attacks are a problem
I know it may be too soon but I love you Tier list episodes. It kind of gives me a idea of who to to use. I like trying the weaker ones as a challenge where most people use the buffed Pokémon because they like using power over skill. I look forward to your next tier list. I like not using brain dead OP buffed Pokémon.

Rapid fire scarf is good for more stuns, it's starting to seem like resonant guard is the better focus band. Not sure if it would be a buff but it would be nice if they could fix Greedent and Sableye to fit their roles better. Aside from that defenders are very relevant, Snorlax could be able to use his moves or a move during his Unite but generally they're all really good. Actually they could make some of the less relevant moves better, I certainly wouldn't mind a small telekinesis and pain split buff. Maybe curse too, it actually feels like Mamoswine could still use a small buff it's never really used in tournaments and if you want a double evo defender people prefer Blastoise or Goodra.
Mamo needs 8 evo.
I loved playing Greedent with attack weight, Cookie, and focus sash back in the day. I was the most annoying MF on the field, lol..
They could never get a score with bullet seed. Or back when you gave Greedent a fluffy tail and he could invade the enemy jungle. I had so much fun with Greedent. I felt my job was to be as annoying as possible and steal as much attention as possible so people would chase me lol. Not gonna lie when you successfully invade the enemy jungle early on you have someone looking for you the entire game lol.

Icicle crash and high horsepower seem fine if anything maybe buff the damage or maybe buffing damage on frozen opponents would be more appropriate and ice fang needs a wider and longer hitbox while earthquake needs a faster start up as it takes too long for the jump to happen as the targets you tried to jump on are long gone by the time you land

As a mamo main purely because I love him and it gets earthquake (although I use HHP) I say Buff Mamo!!

I would buff Mamoswine, in particular I would increase ice fang range, because there are so many mid/long range pokémon and Icicle crash is not the better, it's the only option, but the controll of ice fang could be a good trade if it hits. And I would delete earthquake just because, if no one picks that hyper-situational move, it's a buff for Mamo
I guess they should add some healing effect to boosted basic attack of mamo or its ice type moves
Buff Umbreons attack stat so he get better secure.😅 I once fought an enemy for a full 2 minutes and we eventually went our separate ways since no one could get the KO 😅
All jokes aside, I think the most over looked and slept on build right now is Resonate Guard on a Sand Tomb/Stone Edge TTar, I’ve been using it randomly and it’s quite literally insane

I consider myself a team oriented player. But after that Registeel fight, that Cram would've been my blood brother. The rest of the team is fending for themselves because I'm sticking to that Cram's side no matter what. If you ever saw me away from them its because I'm walking back from spawn after giving my life for them. And no never because they died, because I'd never let them.

I would buff Mamoswine by making High Horsepower Unstoppable, otherwise it can be very hard to enforce CC with Mamo
If I were to buff one defender, it would be Goodra, mostly it's early game. I wish goomy's tackle worked like squirtle's skull bash/swinub's tackle where you didn't need a target and could dash and aim it anywhere to check bushes, get away, etc. And for dragon pulse which has a pretty awful wr%, imo it should come out faster. I've lost many fights because the startup animation is so slow, compared to like blastoise's hydro pump for example. Power whip too, kinda, but dragon pulse is more jarring.
(Objectively Mamo & maybe Greedent need it more but idc. Well I do care about Mamo, he's just my second priority 😅)
I would buff either Mamo or Snorlax.
Mamoswine could evolve earlier. 5/9 level evos are understable for pseudolegendaries who are know for high level evolutions. They could do it 5/8 (or even 4/8 or 5/7). The same buff could be done for pokemon that evolve by trade (Gengar, Machamp).
I’ve been playing for about 2 years (few months after release) now.
Never ever liked defenders. But these last couple weeks. I’ve been shredding with Slobro and Mamo. 2 mons I promised myself I’d never play as.
As a tank, if you time your fights with your carry or your other dps, you’ll destroy nearly every battle.
I would buff all of goodras kit but make it evolve at level 9 to compensate.
People never complain about Mamo evolving at 9 because they want to bully the enemies as Swinub for the entire game.
This is the video we got because the emergency nerf changed the god tier Pokemon and overall " good into ___" type of video. They are just trying to throw Jake off.

For real tho buff mamo. I’d add an extra stomp or two to it’s unite and change when it evolves. Should be a final evo at 7 or 8.
Among the equipment, I expect that leftover food is better for re-healing and the speed of movement associated with health. This is better, and allocating all logos to health only. Pokemon will be like a moving tank, especially defensive Pokemon. This is from experience.
It takes too long to be out of combat, with the rapid combat exchanges that go on in Unite leftovers barely gets any time to be active. Especially on Pokemon like Mamo who want to be leading engagements and contesting objectives the most out of anyone.
For sustain you want items like Resonant Guard and Focus Band for the healing and eHP they provide as they'll technically provide more "healing" over the course of a game.

Mamoswine is the most annoying hiderance pokemon if it catch you when you team fight, boom you gone

Give greedent some way to be a little more tanky. More hp or some form of damage reduction. As long as he doesn't become a terror again so nothing super big but give him actual defender sustain. Doesnt really need a damage buff

I feel like mamoswine has never been a bad Pokémon. Most balanced Pokémon in the game perhaps. Buffing it might make it OP but it would become very overused I think.
Mamoswine is my most played character, I think it doesn't need too much and I don't want it to be overused. I would like earthquake to be like snorlax heavy slam, fast trigger and fast ending animation because Mamo seems so slow when using it. This move and high horsepower should be unstopable or inmune to hindrances (like horn leech I mean). Maybe the speed boost from Icicle crash could be buffed or change it for a slowing/freezing effect on enemies like ice beam. Just a few things to give it some new spark but not all of them or too much like Metagross.
Love Mamo already and would love some minor buffs for him. A little more damage on his moves or please buff his unite buff because it is quite weak.
