@@bluestorm1990 it’s a top Pokémon for me but honestly yeah. It’s the single worst competitively, it didn’t get any attention like Hisuian Typhlosion, it gets zero buffs between gens, gets no spotlights like other starters outside of new snap, is always the least popular out of the Johto starters, etc. As much as I love it, I’m not gonna act like anyone likes the thing.

Meganium can come in as a cool supporter that heals with synthesis similar to clefable. Its other move can be sunny day which bolsters the healing and reduces teammate move cooldown by 20%.
Its other moves can be petal blizzard that dmgs opposing pokemon and proves a shield to teammates within the range; and giga drain
Tree isn't hurting at all😂. Curse/horn leech is still crazy good.

I ran this build yesterday!!! Absolutely fire build
If you like your mean looks extra mean, full attack Umbreon is the way to go (weight, float, weakness, X-attack, attack emblems + wish heal scaling).
You could try attack speed (I haven't yet), but you trade some of the 300-380% Atk scaling from wish for more boosted attacks during ML (haven't tested how many extra attacks you get in ML from this build yet though ['worth?' test]).
3 supporters who are more *attacker* based than normal are confusion mime (Shreds health), hoopa (trickball version) and wiggly.
You gotta give it to that Talonflame, it not only invaded first jungle successfully, it took their second cycle as well while you decently managed to defend the goal
The way Talonflame played only worked out because of how good the rest of the team was. Spragels was only “decently” able to defend the goal because talon decided for some reason to leave the first time when there were three opponents engaging in a fight leaving spragels to deal w them alone 😂 it all worked out but probably not the best and it could have easily gone south.

@@RedL1keRoses7 Didn't die and denied the enemy jungler his level 5, pretty much what a sableye invade would have done as well, just that he did it more effectively somehow.

That is a solid build I did a vid on it a few weeks ago. In my experience red emblems work best with spore. Try stacking specs or wise glasses over rapid scarf to give spore more pop. Keep it up!

Tree is still really good. I've still been using hammer horn and it's barely even a slap on the wrist.
Barrier/confusion Mr. Mime can be pretty mean for a supporter.

Honestly, this build would work better if you use Leaf Tornado instead of Pollen Puff & also the use of X Speed instead of X Attack. Not only will it increase your movement & attack speed, but it can also hurt enemies & can also give the buffs to your teammates as well. Not to mention Leaf Tornado can help you or your teammates escape from conflicts that can’t be beaten & can help get to areas within seconds. Also, Leaf Tornado is busted with Cottom Spore & X Speed due to the stun on Spore & the extra speed boost on yourself (literally making Eldegoss move like a speedster)
I would advise using more cool down emblems or items to get the most out of leaf tornado. But it is a viable pick over puff.
Today I played eldegoss with 60k damage, 50k damage taken and 100k healing in a match. Elde can be great in great team coms.
Meganium got a pretty decent role in new Pokemon Snap tho

Bayleaf and chikorita are probably the popular ones and everyone just hates meganium just by existing, even the game itself hates meganium

Pollen puff has AoE tho so it's better at team fights. Wish can only target a single mon at a time.
I agree that I think Meganium would be a great Supporter for Unite. I also think Primarina might be good as a Supporter too. We need more Supporters.

well i wont retype my long message again but in short: even in quite high rank ultra class 2 there are lot of noobs or trolls who pick 2 junglers(mid lane) and refuse to go to lane leaving you 1 v 3 but the biggest issue is the lack of communications options in champ select you cant even say: "we need mid laner" and if 2 people pick mid laner you cant tell them "too many midlaners" or to say pick something else like a ping against them at least or something :| and most of the team those horrible players dont even care they just afk farm the jungle and let you lose the game, very hard to carry them tho sometimes i managed, cause i have 61.1% win rate in ranked with 150~ games played (my first ever season have total 200 games so most was ranked) players need to learn that in this game last 2 minutes matter more than anything else, 99% of the games is decided by who kills ray, thats why i been playing a lot of venusaur and im successful with sniping ray with solar beam, many times we were behind yet won cause i sniped ray and we scored big at last minutes and won or they surrender straight (speaking of surrender i wish we could report and ban players for spamming way too early surrender... the game is only decided in that last ray fight nothing else really matters unless you been dominated which rarely happens) one time the enemy surrendered while they were in the lead and we won lmao something should happen with ranked cause right now why would anyone play casual mode when ranked feels like playing casual you just get rated 😂😂 in other mobas players take ranked more seriously here they like dont even care if they lose or win... imagine being so impatient that you wanna surrender in a moba where matches last only 10 min lmao, well i played league of legends on pc before where matches last way over 20-30 min.... but its insane when they try surrender whenever 1 fight is lost lol, why are people so happy with losing?? why they not try to win i dont understand... why are trolls playing in ranked??? but rather how the hell did they make it to ultra rank class 2 by trolling who carries them?? because these players are like: i dont care what my team comp is i want to play *insert role* so i play that role no matter what which is very toxic... this is why i usually wait til the other 4 picks a pokemon so then i can decide what i should pick in order to have a balanced team and not lose :| most games are literally lost in champ select when they pick 4 ranked attackers and i try go supporter tanky or defender but cant do much when enemy has 1 assassin allrounder who can oneshot all those dumb attackers lol, i cant wait to get into high master and hopefully less horrible players there....

Eldegoss is underwhelming because of the delay healing and there’s no was to increase it without using this build besides emblems. Also the fact you can’t team target ally with enemies nearby and you can’t drop on top of your self you need to drop it in front of yourself

the biggest issue i have with the game is that the champ select is so limited communication... you cant tell them: you idiot you picking 2 mid laners (junglers) we cant do that but noooo those idiots stil do it hard to carry them sometimes they leave you 1 v 2 or 1 v 3 in lane and not care... that you losing they just afk farm the jungle doing absolutely nothing not even scoring, there is no way to like report them or dislike them because the system does absolutely nothing unless they afk... usually i pick last and leave the 4 idiots to decide wtf they wanna play then if i see the team lack defender or such i rather pick that because otherwise its a clown fiesta, but i really love playing solar beam venusaur the number of times i sniped ray away from the enemy with just solar beam is insane, literally won ranked games by sniping away ray haha, im currently ultra rank class 2 and steadily climbing even if losing sometimes but then going on a win streak, but every couple of games there is a very dumb team that goes 3 bot and leave 1 top, or pick 2 defenders and no attackers etc, the amount of clowning that happens is insane... how high of a rank one has to reach in order to not see such dumb people in their games i wonder? or maybe its never... one game last night i won because the enemy surrendered even tho they were in the lead imagine 😂😂 they surrendered cause they lost 1 teamfight lmao and literally we got victory with like 100 less points they couldve stil tried to come back and snipe ray but nope they just surrender like noobs, 99% of the games are decided at ray if you get ray you win basically i have so many games where before the 8 min mark we were behind by like 100-150 points even then killed ray and instantly won with 200+ score lmao the fact that there are so many noobs in ultra rank is weird cant wait to climb into master im getting close to it and hope for the best there (and mind you i started this account fresh and played 157 rankeds and only 25 casual battles and 12 quick battles) but in ranked i have a 61.1% win rate right now, like my first ever season and play of this game (but having real moba experience tho so i guess that helps a lot) i just hate the lack of communication in this game... you cant really tell the teammates like "go farm" also i stil havent figured out how to ping someone? not as if it works anyway cause whenever someone else pings a teammate that teammate ignores it anyway :| but we seriously need to at least have prewritten message variety cause what we have is not enough we need to be able to tell go farm, or stop being in jungle or saying group up cause saying "focus on scoring" or "lets split" is not enough chat to actually tell them what to do.... very hard to communicate to the team to like set up an ambush in the grass before the ray fight etc

Maganium is generally regarded as the weakest of all starters, all generations included. Chikorita, on the other hand, is quite liked for its very affectionate relation with Ash in the TV show. It is slow, has poor offence and ok defenses. Its typing is weak to common offensive types and resistant to common defensive types and excels offensively against quite a few type matchups but lacks the offensive stats to take advantage of those matchups. As for the movepool, it has a nice selection of support moves, but is too slow and to frail to make use of it. As for its abilities, one is teh equivalent of Pokemon Unite's venusaur's passive but only applied to grass type moves and the other protects it from status conditions (burn, poison, etc...) if it is under harsh sunlight (which doubles the power of fire moves, which are super effective against it).
TL;DR Meganium's stats, abilities, abilities, moves and typing aren't comptible and is generaly disliked and Chikorita's obsession over Ash was cute over 20 years ago

Meganium is one of the weakest (if not the weakest) starter in all Pokemon history stats and usability-wise in the main games. Fans hate it, sadly. I like the line though.
