      It sure is! Where is the best waterfall you have visited so far?

      @@GoTravelOnTheCheap There were too many too good to pick just one :) But in the videos I have so far posted you can see for instance Staubach Falls which inspired Goethe, Byron and Tolkien. One glacier waterfall located inside the mountain (Trummelbach), pretty good is also Giessbach Falls and I am preparing vlog about another waterfall here in Switzerland where Sherlock Holmes had a showdown with Moriarty in the AC Doyle's story. But there are also many others...I will come back to them too later :)

    Those donuts sound pretty intriguing, I've never had a mango donut before. I've seen so many photos and videos of this waterfall and never knew where it was. I'd love to visit it one day - you know, for the 'gram. 😂 I didn't realize it was such a hike to get up there. My hubby would need his new fancy trekking poles to do this one. I feel like you should have went for a swim to cool down before walking back down!

      Those donuts were quite tasty! We probably should have taken a dip! 😩 Ooooh, what are his trekking poles like? April needs another pair soon...(and she need to remember to use them more regularly, lol)

    We will be visiting Oregon soon. Want to see the falls. Not sure if we should stay in Portland or somewhere outside of the city. Any advice?

      That's exciting! It entirely depend on what your priorities are...if you want more of a city or nature vibe...and you may be able to save money on lodging depending on where you look outside of Portland...Mount Hood is a scenic area. Hope this helps; let us know if you have any more questions 🙂

    What time did you arrive?

    • @GoTravelOnTheCheap
      @GoTravelOnTheCheap  Рік тому

      We arrived at the falls around 8:30am... This was the record-breaking hottest day back in June 2021 though! Plus it was getting a little too busy for our liking on the trail on our way back down...
      Enjoy!

    Hey! I’ve been thinking about doing an interview show like I do with metal bands, but with travel vloggers. Would you be interested?

    I am planning to go here so my question is, do I need a permit to go see the falls?

    • @GoTravelOnTheCheap
      @GoTravelOnTheCheap  Рік тому

      Exciting!
      We googled it, and this what we found: Permits are now required for each vehicle that accesses Multnomah Falls by taking Interstate 84 and the parking lot near exit 31. Permits cost $2 and can be purchased online.
      Hope this helps; let us know if you have any more questions...
