Thanx for doing these videos Donny, it’s great to have knowledge from someone who really knows his stuff!
I would love to know more about porting an 038 mag and how to get the best out of the old girl, if you ever have the time to make a vid on this model I most definitely want to see it.
Anyways all the best from the U.K. Donny and please give my respects to your Dad he sounds like the kinda guy who could teach us all a thing or two about life.

And another great video Donny. The most important part was the talk on PPE .take it from a foolish old man, use all the personal safety gear that you need even if it's only a 5 min job, they always turn out to a lot more than 5 minutes .it takes less then the blink of an eye to loose the sight in it for good ,this I know, hearing is a real chore when you get old if you don't protect it when you are young. Don't forget to use proper ventilation systems .Thanks Donny

Thanks for showing your tools and bench! I worked with diamond setters for 13 years. Your tools, bench and dust collection system are similar. Except I used to collect all the scrap, worn tools and take it all to the refiner. We'd recover platinum, gold and other precious metal.

I've learned from your friendship with the "saw people" that your knowledge is highly-regarded. As is your humble attitude by myself. Thanks for the information and time your willing to share with us, it will always be appreciated. H

Great info, especially on maintenance on flex shafts, inspection and grease. I love the dust collector setup. I’ve done a lot of v8 head porting and the messiest are the old cast iron ones. I first used a shopvac but the darn thing was so loud I switched to an old Electrolux canister vac pulling through a 5gal bucket as a filter. Much quieter and could run for hrs :)

Just mixed the bad connections on my mother's Electrolux vacuum. Its at least 55 years old.

Dull chain is not safe, but sharp chain will do quite a number itself.

Donny Walker is a lot closer to the Husqvarnas goin into the wood than the Husqvarna engineers are and kudos to the engineers for respecting this man, realizing his hands on expertise and readily supplying Mr. Walker with their information. the guy's dad grew up in a logging camp, now that's some provenance

Your a Legend. What's your maintenance for your body condition? I see you with PPE respirator while porting and polishing at your station, but can you do a video about the effects of aluminum exposure? I'm not beating you up, I just know you've thought about it. Stay safe and healthy Donny, your the King!! A+++ A1!

Good advice on the Flex shaft, just be sure to NEVER use oil. It will break down the sheath and u will basically have to throw away the set. Like that 90-degree 😊

Wonder what numbers you like on the 390xps? I know you prefer the 385's but there is something about the 390 that keeps me grabbing it everytime I need a saw. Thanks for being so open.
