This is when those cooler bags can help or at least a ziploc- your goal is to minimize the amount of condensation that happens, mostly when you move a cold camera into a warm and humid environment. If it is in the bag the amount of condensation that can form is minimized as the temperature slowly matches. keeping it in there with a few silica gels can help even more.

yep - If it is in a sealed ziploc bag the amount of condensation that can form is minimized as the temperature slowly matches or plan for this change and keep the camera in the warmest part of the house before moving outside.

Experienced some trouble this weekend with my lenses fogging internally at the beach this weekend created by the transition from air conditioner to very hot and humid beach weather. Although it resolved on it own, it took a long time and missed the sun rise.

Not necessary but there are two other very minor fixes
Fixes a phenomenon in which some SD card products are not recognized by the camera.
Corrects some misspellings displayed on the menu screen.

I will be in a very humid and hot climate (hint: the largest island in the Caribbean) and do need to use this particular tip and any others you can provide. Moving between a/c and outside will be a problem. Any assistance with this?

Is firmware upgrade necessary if I have lenses other than the ones mentioned?
