Headwaters on rivers that come as a 10 feet wall of water...
... as rainwater collects at the source of the river...
No umbrellas in a storm either... lighting strikes are a thing...
Get out of the river/stream immediately when it starts to rain. It could be very dangerous because the water will not rise gradually,gushing water together with debris and tree branches will rush down and sweep you away. The rain may be small down stream but it could be having thunderstorms upstream.
Just a piece of advice when swimming in the rivers especially during thunderstorms. You need to be very careful and it's best to avoid swimming during heavy rains. Sometimes the upper parts of the mountain could be experiencing heavy rains and water will be gushing down the river which can be very dangerous. One could be swept away by the currents. Do be vigilant.

Be careful guys when visiting waterfalls during and after raining..that telaga tujuh (seven waterfalls) is beautiful but too bad the weather turned..

Water surges can happen during heavy rain. Try not to the next time.
Be careful of the slippery rocks at the Seven Wells. There had been a number of fatalities there over the years involving foreign and local tourists.
be extra vigilant. ask the locals when the best time to enjoy our rivers...
tropical rains can turn into disaster in no time..

Guys, there is a good hotel right smack at Pantai Cenang. Very clean hotel. Nadias Hotel or maybe Nadya Hotel. I cant remember. I went there just in time covid lockdown imposed. Not sure if the hotel operating with same operator nowadays. We booked family suite at that hotel and cleanliness and comfy factor is top notch. Not a luxury hotel more budget one but good, clean and centre location in Cenang

Don't go to waterfall during rainy days, its dangerous.."kepala air"
Please Don't be at waterfalls or rivers during rain because of 'Rainforest Watershed / Drainage Basin(Kepala Air in Malay) Phenomenon', where a sudden large column of water came unexpectedly even im the sunny day... New case just happened at end of last month in Terengganu state, claims the lives of a group of family...you can watch/read about it in our local news...

If it's raining, it's better not to play in the waterfall, it's very dangerous..

You have to be very careful with rain in Malaysia, what little rain you saw may be nothing to what's already been deposited an hour before higher up. Things get dangerous very quickly and if you get injured you're pretty much on your own. The last thing you want is to be dealt with by local emergency services.

Enjoy r time in Langkawi....the first Island u went to is called the Pregnant Lady (the shape of the Island like a pregnant lady lying down)...n the last Island is called beras basah Island (direct translate wet rice😅)

actually there's grab also in langkawi but maybe harder to get at some place.. rent car or motorcycle also better option👍👍👍

Another great video!!!! Your kids are too young, but what I did was to jet ski to the same islands you did (plus 2 or 3 more places) with a guide. I guess it is a tad expensive because it ended up only me doing this with the guide. So much fun, zooming out there in the open sea on a jet ski, trying to stay with the guide. Def a must do again when I am staying there in Malaysia.
