Like usual, each season, the intensity dial keeps going up episode after episode. As fast as we get answers, we get so many more questions. Marjorie is already getting her hooks into Tomlin...who is actually a nice kid. Jamie, with his lavish gifts, shows Brianne how highly he thinks of her, and in the naming of her sword, Brianne shows what she truly thinks of Jamie. In a way, its the best romance in the show...even muted and awkward...its more like two people who recognize each others true selves. Hauntingly portrayed by masterclass level acting. Meanwhile, Sansa is off to relative safety, Podrick is now a squire, Jon is on a mission to avenge the Knights Watch commander, which everyone thinks is a one way trip...not knowing his little brother is currently their prisoner...and Dany has captured another city...and turns out to not be nearly as forgiving as her advisors hoped she would be. Whew!
Oh...and we just learned how White Walkers are made...and its horrifying...featuring the leader of them all...the Night King. *shudder* Still creeps me out years later.
I'm with Shane...Grey Worm is a low-key badass...also a fan favorite.

It's actually a common misconception that medieval folk didn't live past 30. Most deaths occurred in childhood from poor sanitation (likely followed by birthing mothers). Once a child reached adulthood, though, their chances at survival were pretty solid. So, the children and women were the main sources of the higher mortality rates than what we have today.
There was an old grumpy cat with a torn ear in the books, who Arya has a hard tine catching. Arya finally catches him after chasing him through the castle. She smooches him on the head, but cat still tries to claw her. This cat many feel belonged to Rhaegar's murdered daughter, little princess Rhaenys. The cat's name was Balerion

Tommen is between 13/14 years old in the series and in the book I think he is 9 years old.
On Jaime not having feeling for Joffrey's death. From the books, Jaime reflects on this and his thoughts are as follows:
Jaime had seen him born, that was true, though more for Cersei than the child. But he had never held him. "How would it look?" his sister warned him when the women finally left them. "Bad enough Joff looks like you without you mooning over him." Jaime yielded with hardly a fight. The boy had been a squalling pink thing who demanded too much of Cersei's time, Cersei's love, and Cersei's breasts. Robert was welcome to him.
And now he's dead. He pictured Joff lying still and cold with a face black from poison, and still felt nothing. Perhaps he was the monster they claimed. If the Father Above came down to offer him back his son or his hand, Jaime knew which he would choose. He had a second son, after all, and seed enough for many more.

I think the Tommen actor was like 16 ish, and the fine and wonderful Natalie Dormer was 31 ish. Very creepy vibes lol
