am so glad i never let oder tell me what to play. Play what you like and love to play and let streamers play what they like. if you don`t play what you like you get bored of the game. start with 1 class play it litle you like it then continue if not start anoder :D
TBC and WotLK are all about two comps; RMP and WLP. In TBC and WoTLK, these two comps have no counters, except for each other. In WotLK specifically, another good comp aside from RMP and WLP is DK/Hpal/War aka. TSG, however it has three heavy counters, two of them being RMP and WLP. As for 2v2 in TBC; RP, MP, WPr, WPal, LPr and LPal are by far the best. Aside from that I would also mention Disc/Ret, Rsham/Ret and Affli/Rdruid, although not as good comps, still more than easy to get rank 1 with.
despite not having a defensive cd ele/resto are quite tanky because of having shields. Doesn't matter against casters but against melee armor still mattered back in TBC
So do you not think Destro is viable in arena? I've been a destro main since forever and I was going to make a Destro/ shatter Mage/ Rdruid comp with my buddy.
Paladins are great pocket healers for warriors. Paladins have a insta cast heal called Holy Shock. Ret is a burst class the relies on the enemy player critting. Paladins are BiS thanks to the light. May the light bless you
Can you do both 2v2 and 3v3 to get double arena points every week or do you have to pick one of the two? Sry for the stupid question, never done arena before.
So yeah it's one bracket but you will get more points in 5v5, then 3v3, then 2v2. If it's like the old system you could have something around 1600/1700 in 5v5 and it would give you more points per week than a 1850 2v2 team.. I can't remember the exact numbers but I know that was how it was back in the day
Against Druids, Mages can't freeze them for Shatter damage due to Shapeshifting and Druids don't have any casts that can be Counterspelled outside of Cyclone. Against Locks, Mages will have a Felhunter on them constantly interrupting casts and causing spell pushback and they'll be mana drained (and even Curse of Tongued which they will have to Remove Curse on themselves). Warlocks are just a nuisance for Mages to deal with and they're just not fun to play against.
@@aewohiuwefhweu Mages synergies perfectly with RMP and Mages are hard counters to Warriors, so they still have value. More importantly, given that we're starting over from scratch, things will be very different in TBC Classic than they were in TBC because we now have the benefit of hindsight. Druids were not a popular healer early in TBC for a variety of reasons, the biggest one was because there were so few in numbers as Druids were the lowest played class in Vanilla. Warlocks didn't really become popular to later into TBC as well. Here are Endless's 2v2 rankings: endless.gg/armory/pvp/leaderboards/2v2 Almost no mages. Here are the 3v3s: endless.gg/armory/pvp/leaderboards/3v3 There are some mages, but not nearly as many as there were back in the day. It doesn't mean Mages are bad, because they're not, but 14 years of experience has taught us that Warlocks and Druids are both top tier, and that wasn't the case back in the day due to lack of knowledge. It's a bit like how practically every alliance Priest is a Dwarf in Classic where practically zero were Dwarves back in Vanilla. If you want know what the PvP Meta is going to be in TBC Classic, look at the Private Server world as opposed to what happened in TBC back in 2007.
@@wdewilde1361 No doubt, and Warlocks since they're so good at PvE as well. I was honesty a bit surprised looking at Endless' Arena numbers at how many Druids and Warlocks there were. If Classic is anything to go by, the Private Server meta will end up playing out in TBC Classic, so I full expect it to be the same going forwards.
i played moonkin with bm hunter or ele shaman it was op as fuck, cause moonkin can off heal and do burst dmg they counter all meeles all hunters and are decent vs mages and priest so they are more stronger than feral :)
Personally have absolutely no experience with it but I've heard that Rets have a niche comp with... was it resto shamans? Others supposedly also worked but were certainly not the meta. As for ele shamans, I heard of 2 comps in 3s that were somewhat successful (also not the meta tho), one of them being disc, frost, ele. We'll see what we can do with the latter one. As an upside, the enemy team will have everything purged, always and our team can dispell/cleans anything. Plus 2 ppl who can heal and a lot of damage potential. We'll see how it works out. I also heard that resto shamans were most common in 2s, enhancement in 3s and ele in 5s (though ofc resto would be most common of all the specs in all teams, except maybe 5s). But all that is really just what I read on forums and Reddit, so pile of salt, yada yada.
Hey, great video. Will u be making another video on what races are best for different classes in Arena? I want to main spriest but can't decide if i wanna go Troll or UD. Great post here: www.reddit.com/r/classicwowtbc/comments/jylqk4/pvp_as_spriest_horde_unable_to_decide_race/ So far, i haven't being able to find answer as to where does SP have a highest chance of hitting high rating. If it's 2s, then UD is most likely better, if it's 3s, then Troll reigns supreme due to hex of weakness for shadowplay. I will be doing PVE as well but that's not that relevant.

Version 1 had the worse Audio imaginable. So I decided to re-record it so you guys can have good audio. Love you all.

resto shaman and ret pala is best combo for both classes. and pretty good in general
very nice video, freaking informative!! keep up the good job!
Thank You.!
Arena TBC big hype and content treasury. melee hunter, night elf priest, boomkinlooking really good
Love ur lock arena ui! May i ask which addon does these simple yet good looking group/arena frames?
So do you not think Destro is viable in arena? I've been a destro main since forever and I was going to make a Destro/ shatter Mage/ Rdruid comp with my buddy.
yeah I definitely will be getting trained but that leaves my mage open to free cast and with backlash it shouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
Not nearly enough love for Elemental Shaman. They are the kings of the 3v3 and 5v5 brackets. LSD and 2345/2346 comps are balling.
Another banger vid! Keep it up
Shockadin / AP pom pyro mage is a good 2s comp up to the end of season 2 before resil starts getting crazy high
Which class should I choose if I want to kill druids 1x1 (because I hate druid.) What's is anticlass for dru?
Shadow priest / rogue
Enha does have a defensive cooldown, Shamanistic Rage.
so in top 20 of 2v2 on endless is 2 warlocks, 10 rogues, 6 priests, 7 druids, 4 paladins, 3 shamans, 1 warrior, 1 mage, 1 hunter

sure this guide is usefull, but where do i try different classes in the arena?
Endless tournament realm
Can Rogues still blind a void walker so he can't sacrifice then kill the lock?
Yes
Dont judge me
Im a pally what do you want me to do?
Are you on Endless Crix?
Yep. Both of them.
Cool bro thx for the guide
Does disc in tbc have all the Mana issues it does in retail?
Another one , banger
How is Balance Druid?
Pretty bad TBH.

Against Druids, Mages can't freeze them for Shatter damage due to Shapeshifting and Druids don't have any casts that can be Counterspelled outside of Cyclone.
