My very first Art vlog style video!
Creating content I myself enjoy watching and I hope you enjoy too!
I wanted to show more than just the art and it's process. Including some small snippets of mom life outside my little bedroom studio. For almost every painting I always do a digital version using Procreate first- this is part of my preparation where I practice getting proportions and the colour story right before I start the main painting.
I have recently fell in love with water soluble oil pastels, or wax pastels as some call them.
These are not super great quality but I always try any new art medium in cheaper variant before I invest in the more expensive higher quality ones.
I love exploring different subjects and my latest obsession has been portraits, even though I have never really focused my painting time to portraits not even in art school- honestly I avoided it almost the same way I avoided painting flowers 😅
Silly how we can put ourselves in boxes and think we can only paint certain things...
Whereas truly all we needed was a bit of practise😋
