Manly P. Hall: What Does 'Faith in God' Mean?

- Unreleased Lecture
Sometimes with Manly Hall's talks, the titles do not exactly line up with the main subject of the actual lecture. These are selected far in advance so programs could be printed and mailed out each quarter. Hall even mentions this phenomenon in another lecture.

Please enjoy this never-before heard lecture (since it was spoken and recorded on May 24, 1959). It is SPOOKY to listen to how consistent and accurate a lecture from 1959 still is today
True wisdom is timeless
Plot twist, we aint really so different from the worries of the Romans, the Greeks, Egyptian,...
When I was young I thought the 50s were ages ago, as I grow older I realize it wasn't that long ago. Of course, a lot has changed, but the more things change the more they stay the same..
"... and since God is timeless, he is the god of the ancients, as well."
-Bhagavad Gita
Is there untrue wisdom ?
I feel like these lecturers by MPH are the only thing of value on UA-cam
I JUST LOVE ❤ 😍 EVERY LECTURE THIS MAN HAS EVER DONE.. KUDOS .MANLY P. HALL SOCIETY
It seems to me that faith in God is having faith in ourselves to come to know God and what God wants of us by knowing, understanding, and living natural law. By having faith that what God has set in stone, we can build something for ourselves based in truth that generates freedom. A false sense of faith, no matter how subtle guided by ulterior motive, can only create negative effects that don't generate the desired outcome. This is why our motives must be honest and true, which is we want to learn the truth and align ourselves to natural law because it is the right and natural thing to do
Indeed. By studying with Vernon Howard, one comes to understand the false personality and thereby see hidden motives.
This one really hits the _spot._
Thanks Mr Manly
Thank you.I certainly know that the value of knowing MPH would have been a great blessing in my youth, however, I am also certain that my very ignorant self was not aware that wisdom that other could help me to find was, indeed, available to my blind/deafness💥🌸
Once again... a brilliant and powerful lesson for life very much needed now as ever.🙏❤️
from 55:48 to 59:58 this hits home. Will remember it.
✨🌼✨Thank you Manly P. Hall✨🌼✨
An absolutely timeless truth indeed ❤🙏💯
This will be a great one I can already tell!!
i am happy to be here
Great lectures !! Love this guy's wisdom 💪👊
"The end of all learning is that we shall discover the instrument of faith within ourselves. " MPH (had to quote him on that one!
So relevant. Thank you.
I’m just like manly p hall I teach the same way he’s my mentor
Wow now the title to this one is really something insightful
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 we are all the same person, living life in a bunch of different bodies!! Which means that... Every person that you meet...is really just YOU.... LIVING IN ANOTHER BODY!!! You see...you are INTERACTING with YOURSELF at ALL TIMES! & Once you understand this...you understand UNITY!
The body of God experiencing itself?
Love thy neighbor as you love thy self.
Well said. Collective Consciousness.
That's deep, and an interesting thought. 🤔
@@valiantliege Walk with Jiddu Krishamurti in a calm save jungle where you can reason with him and he will help you to open this thought a layer at a time until you see that the observer is no different to the one being observed. Nothing to loose. Thank you UA-cam for your part.
Thank you for sharing.
Hey you have a way to donate to you, correct? You deserve it for all the work you do on this. I will donate to you in the coming weeks
Yes, we have a link in About section, thank you!
Just thought I would be the 33rd comment, much love 🍺
I have faith this will be good.
I love Manly Hall, though I never knew him.
I hate Manly Hall. Because he makes me know myself.
Great quote! #truth
Manly P. Done gave me so much guidance and understanding ..it's Louis Farrakhan first for me then manly HP for assurance and it always compliments .
Got any suggestions on breaking into Farrakhan's work? Not familiar too much with NOI except for what I've learned from the Autobiography of Malcolm X
@@avak19808 Farrakhan ( the cycles of life ) and the other lecture called ( seek refuge in Allah ). These two will add to your self understanding.
❤
Last person jiddu krishnamurti
Where can I get this transcript? Ever since I have been turned onto MPH it's all I can listen to and want to read. I found a few places to get texts of his lectures, however, there are some I can't
It takes us several hours to transcribe, edit and format each transcript. Hopefully we will get around to doing this someday.
I really hope the talk he mentioned after this one comes out next :) thank you for your work

@@ManlyHallSociety sorry for late response thank you very much good sir, sending love
I love you🥰
To put it all down and start again from the top to the bottom and then
I'll have faith or I prefer to think that things couldn't turn out worse.

...anyone?
Faith + alternative motivation = failure. So true! The love of the truth should be the soil the plant of knowledge sprouts from!
48:52 is so potent
Thank you, I will post the link to this part in the description.

An hour and a half. Faith in god is simply faith in the will given to things by god. People don’t have faith in gods will but can only see their own corrupted will a imperfect will that says I am all.
i believe in you
Objective reality. Objective Morality. All else produces conflict which leads to slavery.
what harms, harms for a reason, cause it's wrong. Stealing is wrong cause it steals, controlling is wrong cause it controlls. So if everyone has that moral compass, there would be no theft of anyones freedom and everyone would be able to look forward to free energy, free food, free education, free housing ect, through contribution in society by works and people wouldn't even have to work a lot, just one day a week and everyone gets a job that way, so no more jobless people. but government is immoral, it dictates, just like immoral religions and atheism, nihlism ect. .
Good morning cutieeeee pieee!!!!!!💖😇💖💋

Yeah I completely understand where your coming from, it’s also been a kind of enlightened experience I’ve had with manly p hall. His poetic way of speaking with so much wisdom, can have one really contemplate one’s life in a more purposeful way. Glad to see that others have had the same experience.
It would be so nice if this were on Podbean, too.

That's because it's not from 1959
@@VideoPostingAccount recently either with the same voice or someone mimics. How did he die again? Didn't they say he was murdered at 90?
How can you have a positive belief in God, if your life is hell?
Hi
Hello. I'm mostly human, I have just a little neanderthal influence.
So then what would faith in the devil mean? Worship of the chaos principle of life? Out of fire nature is fully renewed? INRI?
Who was the first god to be worshiped on earth, and why.
There is no first or last OMLY One Eternal GOD who live in the believer heart

How do we know these videos are actually the voice of Manly P. Hall?
▪
...idk idk4sure, but your comment makes me imagine someone creating a channel like this - and making some well known speaker look like a straight up lunatic at times. That'd be messed up, but kinda funny if done right...
I hope no one sees my comment and becomes inspired to do that kinda thing [knock on wood].

@@2NDFLB I have that much respect for manly p. hall lol from reading some of his literature....
