Even though he knew he could/would raise him from the dead; he was grieving the wages of sin, and that death came for his friend. He knows how we feel in our own losses.
When Jesus fell down to the ground and cried! That got me. He really was a man of sorrow, acquainted with grief, so He could fully understand ours. I love my Savior!
The Chosen has brought to life the greatest story ever told!! I’ve watched it 3 times so far. Finally my husband is watching it who was not a believer. He is getting baptized on Christmas Eve! ♥️ all glory to God!! We’ve been married for 42 years and I couldn’t get him to understand. God’s timing is perfect! 🙏♥️
Holy shit that’s awesome. I’m a happily married Catholic with 2 kids. All of that is because Jesus is my Savior. Glad to hear about your husband’s baptism. Welcome to club.
I’m in high school but watching this show has lead me to wanting to pursue ministry in my life and possibly become a missionary. It has deeply impacted me and I’m very grateful. ❤
I'm already crying my eyes out just watching the trailer and seeing Jesus's suffering. Forgive me Father, i know nothing about suffering but complain about everything every day. What He went thru so that we may be saved. Glory be to God the most High. ❤❤❤
"Jesus wept" The shortest verse in the Holy Bible, yet holds one of the deepest emotions portrayed by Christ. Even in this short trailer, it came across so well 😭😭😭 Well done, team.
My husband and I have been anxiously waiting for season 4, binge watched the first three seasons several times. He was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy many years ago, suddenly declined and passed away Nov 29th 😞 When the season 4 trailer dropped, I cried because he won’t get to see this season, but then I remembered he is literally in the presence of The Lord, and can now talk to all of these people in person. He’s also completely healed, Praise God. So I will watch season 4, but I will miss sharing and discussing it with him 🙏
PTL your husband "graduated" to be with Jesus Himself! 🙌 I pray the Holy Spirit will comfort you & guide you as you tread the remaining road alone, although you're never really alone as long as He is with you, amen? 🕊🤍🕊
Watching the end of the last episode of season 4, I realized that if My Lord and Savior could mount that donkey and ride down to his torturous death, I can get out of bed each day and face my own trials, which seemed to pale in comparison to what He endured. Your show made me realize that. Thank you!
@@themanstan0785 I have started to go to church more often, I joined a Bible study group, and I try to pray more. I genuinely feel like I’m happier now. I’m still working on getting closer 🙏🏻
You cannot get any closer to Him than you are right now... He is as close as the air you breathe, as close as your every breath... You are in Him and He is in You. Fellowship with those Who know this Truth about Father’s unconditional and all inclusive Love, in through and by His Slain Lamb, the Finished Work of the Cross at Calvary and what happened there. Everyone must know.
The end of the trailer almost made me cry. That moment when you see Jesus crying. I know he's just an actor, but Jonathan plays him so well. The whole show takes you back 2,000 years. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much for this show!
It definitely takes you back. But it still rings so true for today! From the people and divisions, to our leaders in government and some churches, and our personal lives. This series speaks to all of that! And it shows how our Lord’s words still ring true today.
I feel the same way❤ it helps me to connect with Jesus more, as my dad said, " it makes it more real for me" ( my dad only recently started following Jesus and I am so grateful ❤ thank you God ❤)
I am a 72 year old man. I am a big guy 6’4 inches 230 pounds a trained close quarters combat fighter! Since season 1 and through 2 and 3 I have never wept as much as I have with this series! I have deeply fallen in love with my Savior and Lord Jesus!
I would almost never cry when watching a series, or movies, but man The Chosen has changed all that…I once was lost…but now I’m found, was blind but now I REALLY see!
Seeing Jesus crying brough me to tears too... The Tears of Jesus are mine too. "Ver Jesus chorando me fez chorr junto. As lágrimas de Jesus são minhas também"
What an exceptional statement. I didn't catch it. So glad you shared it. Thanks. I'm blown away by the intensity of this trailer. I've been a believer for over 40 years, lots of bible studies, lots of prayer groups, lots of Sunday church BUT this series is TOTTALY bringing it all into tangible reality! Thank you God! Thank you Dallas and team, ALL of you! THANK YOU!!
I read the Bible 40 years ago and it just didn't click. Usually, when I read, I visualize what I'm reading, like a movie, but couldn't with the bible. The Chosen has made it make sense to me, using words I comprehend and bringing the people to life. Now, when I read the Bible, it makes complete sense. It's had a huge impact on me. I went from thinking "Ok, the bible could be true" to now knowing with all my heart that it's true. God has many ways of bringing people to him and The Chosen is what did it for me. It has also impacted me greatly and I'm very grateful.
I have a very disabled son who is also suffering from addiction. He seems to have accepted Jesus into his life but so many struggles remain. Please pray for mental emotional healing . Jesus in the series is portrayed so humanly womderful. A face full of compassion.
I’ve watched the series several times since my friend told me about it last month. It has been such a blessing to me. I’ve found myself worshipping our Lord while watching the episodes. I am so excited for season 4!!!!!! I believe this series has changed lives and drawn people to Jesus. It’s changing the world for the glory of Our God!!!
It's an amazing show! I just started watching this year. It has transformed my life, spirituality and otherwise, because it's brought me back to my Bible, and TRULY desiring a relationship with Jesus. God bless!!
The Chosen has enriched my spiritual life in ways I could not have imagined. May God continue to bless the cast, crew, donors, followers, writers, and producers of The Chosen, and in particular the Jenkins family for all their gifts and sacrifices.
The series, the actors, and everything about it have gone up to another level. You can feel everybody here has matured and grown so much. Thank you Dallas for an incredible step of faith making The Chosen. You and the whole team, including your wife have made the life of Jesus and his disciples so real, so human, so down to earth. Praise the Lord!!
The Chosen is an incredible series. Watching The Chosen has deepened my faith. I am studying the Bible. Doing a ministry at our church. Joined the choir. Meeting so many wonderful women in our parish, and feeling more spiritual purpose in my life than I have ever felt before. Thank you, Chosen team!
It's my favourite show too. I'd highly recommend watching "Know your Enemy" series starting with part 1 while you wait. It's incrediblely informative and addicting.
Wow! Season 4 is going to be a tough one to watch, but so awesome at the same time. Thank you to all involved in The Chosen! You have no idea how much you are appreciated. Praise God for all He is doing through The Chosen!
I believe I will have to watch this season alone. Know already I will be "ugly crying". Love this series so much. I teach teens at my church and it helps to make them know that Jesus was real...not just stories they've heard all their lives. My God be glorified with this series and many brought to Christ!!!
So hard to watch. I know it will only get harder from here. We’ve grown to love these characters as they have our faces to our favorite real people from our Bibles.
Tell me about it I'm going to be a mess by the time I'm done watching the whole season and when The Chosen gets to holy week after what happened to Jim Caviezel when he was filming the crucifixion in the Passion of the Christ, I'm hoping that Johnathan won't end up going through the same thing that Jim Caviezel did.
After watching this, I am kind of speechless. I can almost recite the whole story from John 11 with Mary and Martha mourning Lazarus. And yet, when you see it with the characters we have all come to know and love on screen, it is heart and gut wrenching. Thank you, Dallas, and all the cast and crew, for creating a show that puts the gospel on display in this visual world of today. I share it with everyone who will listen! Jesus is worthy!!
The closer The Chosen gets to the cross, the greater the emotional and spiritual impact. Spread the news that Season 4 is coming, and that everyone in your circle who has not watched The Chosen needs to binge Seasons 1-3 now to be ready!
I'm so surprised by people who don't get moved by reading the Bible itself and need hollywood help to know Jesus personally. They miss out on so much more about Jesus. What will they do when the Chosen is over?
Yes pray that they not only watch but want to know Him more through His holy scriptures and actually lay down all their burdens before Christ in prayer. Please dear Lord I pray many more souls come to know you through your gospels and accept your precious gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ sacrifice and allow your Holy Spirit to move in them Amen.
Everything Mary Magdalene was saying in the background made me cry!! Jonathan nailed it because you could see the pain in his facial expressions! I can't wait to see Season 4!
It’s crazy how deep it is…and it sounds like something said after the fact of his death and resurrection. It makes me excited to see how that monologue is worked into the season.
In these times when there is so much disruption and hate in the world - and in the church universal - I am deeply grateful to Dallas, cast, crew, and community/crowd of producers for this beautiful series. It is stand-alone in its impactful telling of the stories of Jesus and his followers in a way that speaks to liberals and conservatives alike. It transcends all those categories, as Jesus does. Holding my breath for Season 4...
I’m a Pastor in the Arlington area and I’m literally addicted to this anointed, inspirational, illuminating, life changing sequel “Chosen.” I have watched seasons 1,2, and 3 countless of times, while awaiting season 4. This vision of reenactment of the Life of Christ in my opinion portrays a true to life narrative of the real Jesus Christ. God bless the entire cast and director Dallas, I love all you guys❤❤❤.
I'm so fascinated by comments like yours when from what I've watched, the depiction lacks so much. Have you seen the movie Gospel of John? I feel like the Chosen is so badly made, only mostly Christians will watch it. It would be great to get a conversation between fans and nonfans going.
Watching Jesus fall on his knees, crying, breaks my heart. May our Heavenly Father protect the entire Chosen crew as they all share their gifts and talents to bring forth our Savior's story. You are touching so many hearts and bringing many to faith. Shalom 🙏
Me too. I'm crying and thinking I want to give him a hug. Fortunately, in Dallas' depiction someone is there to comfort him. But to think when He suffered on the cross, God the Father had to turn His back on His Son, Yeshua.
I know. Mine too. But a broken heart is definitely where we need to be. He can meet us there. I think we are too jovial. It isn't always joy. Life in Christ is so serious and about to be more serious.
Watching Jesus's emotions in the last scene was SO heart wrenching!!!...knowing what's coming...seeing Judas take the money! What a spectacular job Dallas and ALL the crew have done. The whole world needs to see this!
This season is going to be so epic! Thank you Jesus for using this show to spread your Gospel, I pray it will reach and touch billions of hearts all around the world.
Yes! Reading the Bible and seeing the visual even if not exactly accurate in the visual, makes my heart rejoice when I get the sense of our purpose to Love God and Love People. Jesus showed us what's important to please him and his Father. What love, sacrificing for a purpose bigger than us which includes our Earth and humanity.
Simply the most powerful presentation of the story of Jesus of Nazareth. Even if you abhor religious shows, you will be moved by The Chosen. I know first hand.
They did a good job of keeping in line with what the Bible says while adding side conversations and the disciples playing board games, etc. You know a group of young guys would have had a blasts hanging out together changing the world and seeing all of this first hand!
I have always loved Jesus, and I am an active Catholic Christian, but this show has made the stories of the Bible so much more alive for me. Now when I read or hear them, I can see your very real depiction alive in my memories. Thank you so much for answering your call to make this series.
Greatest man in history, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. His name is Jesus. And HE is coming back!!!
Jesus changed your life; this is just an idolatrous presentation, created by those who neither know nor belong to Him. But they're more than happy to receive your veneration and praise.
@@YaakovBuchner Let me correct myself. I believe God is working through the people working in the Chosen to touch people. Film reaches people in ways that books and talking can't sometimes.
@@narahanock2720 One must ask themselves, is God a hypocryt? When He commands we do not create imagery of Him. That we don't partner with those who declare another Gospel. That we don't put words in His mouth. That we don't lie, and use deception. That we don't commune with the dead. These are just a few of the violations of the show and its characters. Does the Holy Spirit want us to look to the declared Word, or does He bring those the Father gave Jesus before the foundation of the world to Him, through a visual depiction of which 95% of the content is not from the Bible? If God declared to us to not do these things, do you believe the Spirit(God) will? This is a show designed to move the viewer emotionally, just like every other production. Imagine someone watching Forrest Gump or The Notebook, then crediting the writers for saving them, the way so many Chosen viewers do. Sadly, the show's moderators love it when they are credited in this way. But like Dallas stated in 2021, "Believe it or not, the first priority of The Chosen isn't to teach people about Jesus or the Bible, or anything like that. The first priority of The Chosen is to make a good and watchable show". That they have done, but those who belong to Christ will be His and are saved, despite the show. Jesus is who people should be crediting with "Saving them". The Chosen is just a program owned and created by men who neither know, nor belong to Jesus, and claim that fact immaterial as long as the show is good and watchable. Shalom
I had already inner movies of Jesus and his life. The sequences of the series enlarged on those sequences. I wish more people would write down how they wish to meet and exprience Jesus and would share this with others. I wish with Dallas would begin a new area where everyone who feels inspired might dare to write their individual version and we would inspire one another in reading our very own version to one another.
I can't wait. That thumbnail. It really shows that being a Christian is not the easy choice, but incredibly challenging and confusing at times. Help me to have an open and teachable heart to learn the lessons You wants to teach me Lord Jesus. And help me spend more time in your Word too.
Been checking if season 4 was out for over a month now after watching all the other three seasons, this really shows how simple yet powerful Yeshuah was...!!!
I can’t articulate what The Chosen has done to help my spiritual life and help me better understand the gospels. To imagine what life was like historically in these times. I’m forever grateful for what The Chosen has done for me and how it’s impacted my life. God bless all involved in every aspect of making this series a reality for millions of people.
"I was one way and now I am completely different and the thing that happened in between was Him". That's how I feel and it's what The Chosen has done for me😊
It’s so hard to explain how deeply this show reaches into us, to bring our walk with God so much closer to Him, and bring new insights. Love this so much!!! ️️️
I am in tears just watching the trailer. 😢 I know I will be wrecked when I can actually watch the episodes. This show touches me on such a deep level. It has driven me to study The Gospels more than I ever have, and I have developed such a love for God's Word and spending time with Him in prayer. Thank you to all those who make this series possible. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. May God keep you always in perfect peace. Shalom Shalom ❤🙏
In such a troubled like today this amazing production of the Gospel is a Bright Light shining in the darkness - and AMEN this season is going to be powerful
I agree with you! I don't know if my heart can take watching what we know is coming. But Jesus suffered for me so I must always be willing to connect with His pain.
Jesus, our Savior, what a blessing to see this rendering of His Story. When I read my Bible now, the words jump off the page and live to a greater degree than before watching "The Chosen." We all need Jesus.
This series has helped me begin to understand Jesus's suffering on this earth. That, in turn, has opened my eyes to how the Son of God can have compassion on me. As the show continues to grow in popularity, it's inevitable that the enemy will do everything he can to make those involved stumble. Please pray that God will protect everyone involved, delivering them from evil, for the glory of His name.
Understanding all that Christ did for us to have eternal life is a hard concept to comprehend...but He is the Son of God, who loves us and wants us for all eternity! Great message!
Not only delivering them from evil, but all that is involved that are not born again of spirit and water become born again. Sealed for ever more to our Lord and savior Jesus chwaste not just the cast and crew but everyone internationally as well. God bless
Jesus, You said that you’ll build Your church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it! The Chosen series is one way that You are building Your church and we know that You will keep that endeavour safe, as well as opening the hearts and understand of all those who watch the Chosen. So we plead the blood of Jesus over all those associated with the production of the Chosen, that Your favour will be on this work and You will bless it and keep it, in Jesus’ name, AMEN! 🙏🏻🕊️
I can't thank The Chosen enough for the beautiful stories you have blessed me with at a time when I lost 2 brothers a dad, and my husband. GOD has walked with me and I've gotten closer to HIM because of the work you all have done. Thank you! Thank you everyone of you!❤
So sorry for your immense loss. May the Holy Spirit of comfort fill your heart with more than you ever thought possible, and may your broken heart be deeply mended! 🙏🫂❤
I understand where you're coming from. This has brought me closer to Jesus and God. I'm reading my Bible more and better able to spread the message and good news of Jesus.
🤗🙏 Prayers for you Sharon in this season that currently portrays but a part of a bigger story. Love and prayers. I too lost a hubby and this series does minister in a special way
I am truly sorry for your loss! May God keep you in his perfect peace and protect your heart from sorrow. Take heart in knowing that you will be with them one day.
The trailer shows that the times ahead will be filled with tears and weeping. All is more intense and I wept through the whole trailer and at times got goosebumps. Praise God for all the hard work that you all have put into the telling of "THE TRUTH" of Jesus, the Son of God! I pray all will come closer to Jesus through the Chosen.
I just can’t wait!!! My husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I said, I WANT TO SEE SEASON 4 OF THE CHOSEN IN THEATRES!!! I knew my flame was burning BUT The Chosen keeps adding wood!!! May God continue to bless this project and everyone involved! Including us who keep buying their awesome gifts from the gift shop! ❤
OUTSTANDING…thank you for this series…it has been life changing for me and my family…my son is in prison and has been asking the Chaplin for The Chosen for months… they just received 24 episodes this week…HALLELUJAH! Praying for many hearts to be changed! Thank you Jesus!
God bless you and your son. I hope this gets to spread throughout the prison, ministry and hearts and minds are changed forever especially there. So sorry for your loss.
Sometimes i wonder if i am shallow because I have let this show effect me so deeply. I positively love it. I never used to pay any attention to the Apostles and their stories and now I just can't get enough of them. I already have my movie tickets for February 1st. I recommend the show to so many people but so few seem to listen to me. Funny how that is. I guess faith isn't measured by the seeds that grow but by the act of planting them.
Agree. I think this is what's been really difficult for a lot of us. We couldn't comprehend the kind of LOVE GOD gives because the love we know in this world is different, flawed, and sometimes skewed.
Trying to comprehend God's love is not what we need to do but having faith and believing in it is all we need to do. His love for us is on a Celestial level not a terrestrial level. We cannot understand the spirit world because we have not been in it yet however that kind of love is beyond what we understand in this world and that is why we don't need to try to explain it or understand it just believe in it and have faith in it
My heart is so heavy at what is to come. Not that we don't know the outcome, but the entirety of my faith has been made more personal and real to me because of The Chosen. It has kept me going during the seasons I felt I had nowhere else to turn. I thank God for you all. You have been messengers of hope to so many.
I feel the same. THe gift of this show is the blessing to really feel all the emotions because I relate to them now - as people - not just books in the Bible. I have such love for several of the disciples Matthew, Little John, and for Simon - I cry just thinking about him denying Christ - and how much he will grieve over that moment of weakness. If Dallas and team portray that it will be beautifully awful.
My heart is heavy as well. I dread to see the next few seasons and pray as the cast and crew, writers and producers, approach the crucifixion and the resurrection, they do so with truth, humility, tears, gratitude and praises. May His truth be told all around the world. The Chosen. YOUR CHOICE.
It has carried me too through some dark times. Even the Christmas special Holy Night helped me to see that embracing the season is also one of sorrow, humility and grief.
This looks to be the most emotional Season so far. Have shared The Chosen with so many and every one has come back to say thank you for sharing this with us. A huge thank you to Dallas Jenkins and everyone associated with The Chosen. You have brought the life of Christ back to life.
Greetings from Great Britain. I have just finished watching Series 3 and am about to start Series 4. I first saw the Chosen on Prime last year when I was going through cancer, and it was a comfort. However, I have re-watched from the beginning on the Chosen App together with the Roundtable Talks and can only say that this year I have been immensely blessed and challenged. Thank you.
It brought tears to my eyes, and it was just the trailer. I can’t imagine how incredible this season is going to be, and we KNOW how the story ends. You have all done an amazing job igniting a fire in people to read the Bible and meet the real Jesus. God bless the cast and crew. Merry Christmas!
I agree that the Chosen team is a group of talented, gifted entertainers. Their efforts are making people wonder and then want to go to the Bible to read it for real.
This show has been nothing but incredible and very interesting to watch. It is literally as if the pages of the scripture are coming to life on my screen!! I've watched a few movies/tv shows based on stories from the Bible, but the Chosen has blown them all out of the water❤
Sorry to break your illusion, but most of what is in the Chosen is not what's in the New Testament Gospel. The general story line is but the narrative drama is not. Why not actually study the Gospels with a local group. I hear Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) is a good choice.
I love how you depict all of us. We adopted a son who has cerebral palsy and his best friend is autistic. Seeing that we all have a place in the great commission makes my heart sing. The Chosen has brought us such peace.
Just to know that Jesus experienced everything that we all do the pain, the hurt, the loss. It draws me closer to Him. The Chosen has brought me to my knees in praise and worship like never before. God bless you all
I'm almost positive that 2:08 is the famous "Jesus wept" verse that is so easy to read and move on from. The visual Dallas and his team put together and Jonathan's acting in just this clip...man, this season is going to hit so hard.
I think you're right. The scene before it looks like Martha weeping at Jesus feet just like in the Bible John 11:33-35. This is gonna be a great season.
This Season 4 Official Trailer literally brings me to tears. The music that enhances the emotion and Marie's heartbreaking words are too much to handle. I just want to fall on me my knees and cry.
I have started watching season 1 thru 3 again, to be ready for season 4. When I read the Bible, my vision of happenings is so clear and makes me hungry to read more. Thank you, Dallas, for your calling as a shepherd for Jesus 🙏🫠
I started watching The Chosen after a trip to Israel last year. My Bible has never been more alive, true, heart changing than it has been this past year.
My heart is filled with great anticipation for Season 4. I just finished watching Seasons 1 through 3 yet again. This is the best visual representation of the life of Jesus that I’ve ever seen and it is beautiful❣️
Outstanding! Dallas Jenkins and everyone affiliated with The Chosen do amazing work. The Chosen has changed my life and made me closer to God and Jesus Christ who is truly our Lord and Savior. Thank you, Father, for blessing us with The Chosen. I'm grateful.
Some days it’s hard to keep going. Some days I feel so tired, so hopeless. But every time I watch The Chosen, I remember that I fight and live for my God, my Jesus. This show reminds me that I am a child of God and God loved us so much He sent his son Jesus, to overcome the sins of the world!! We love you, Jesus!! ❤
The Chosen has actually changed history for Christians in the US, and even in other parts of the world. A whole generation of young Christians are growing up learning and developing with episodes of The Chosen, just as those in my generation (boomers) grew up with the Jesus Revolution and exploring evangelical music. I pray to God that Loaves and Fishes Productions keep on producing!! ❤
I am so grateful for this series!! I’m a high school student and finding the motivation to read my Bible is sometimes very hard. After watching the Chosen it has given me a new excitement to get back to reading and studying the Bible!! When I’m reading I can picture scenes from the Chosen playing out in my head which helps me to understand the Bible more! Because of The Chosen I get to see that these were real people with real problems that I can relate to! I can definitely say since The Chosen, I have a stronger relationship with God and that I am learning to love reading Gods Word!! I can’t wait for Season Four!!!
This show has changed my heart for the better. I see Jesus in a different way than I ever have. I don’t know if I can emotionally handle the crucifixion, but, I’ll be watching through my tears. Thanks to the Jenkins and all cast and crew for bringing this to a new height for all of us to see. 💜
I couldn't agree more. We know what's coming, but for a multitude of reasons cannot look away. I wonder if that's just a small glimpse at what it must have been like for Mary; who knew what was to come for her son. My sense of loyalty, of Christian Duty, and of discipleship requires that I "Stand with Him" through it all, even metaphorically and symbolically.
When I have weeped, the Holy Spirit reminds me, “ Jesus wept.” I’ve always had a mental picture of Jesus weeping. This is awesome and heartbreaking. Excellent , The Chosen.
This is going to be so intense. Jesus had it so much harder than the Sunday School lessons so many of us grew up with. It’s a picture of the reality of how difficult things were for Him. ❤ So grateful for this show.
Seeing Jonathan's portrayal of Jesus really fleshing out his sorrows, humbles me to the core. So grateful to Dallas, the cast and crew for all their passion and hard work to get it right.
Absolutely can’t wait for Season 4 to come out! I’ve turned my husband & 15 yr old on to this & we are all so excited for the new season to start! This series, like nothing I’ve ever experienced before, has portrayed Jesus as a human being but fully God as well. Even though we’ve always known that Jesus was born of a woman, grew to be a man, suffered & died for us all, this series has given us a glimpse into Jesus’ human nature which is something has has always alluded me in my life. He had close relationships with his own family & friends, he had likes & dislikes, he had enemies that he had to worry about, etc. The Chosen has really shown us His human side & what his life may have been like which brings us in closer communion with our Lord & Savior. ❤
The way Jesus crumpled to the ground weeping for His friends...I have always pictured Him simply crying or even sobbing, but never falling to the ground. I recently read a book called Atlas of the Heart by Brené Brown, and she says intense grief usually brings someone to the ground. To see this portrayed in Jesus with the juxtaposition of the scripture "Man of sorrows, acquainted with grief" was very powerful, and an image I hope God will remind me of whenever I'm experiencing grief. Thank you, The Chosen cast and crew, and God bless you all!!
The actors do a phenomenal job acting and Dallas has done a phenomenal job directing and listening to the Holy Spirit. My husband and I have watched all three season ten times. We even watch it on the CW. Thanks Dallas and to all involved in the making of The Chosen.
I just watched it again. Chills. And a swollen heart hearing Mary narrate “A man of sorrows…” while Jesus dissolves in tears and his mother comforts him. So real. So relatable.
The Chosen has brought faces and personalities to the people of Bible. So far my favorite scenes have been, Jesus talking to Nicodemus on the roof top and walking on water. I already know where the tears are going to flow in Season 4 from the trailer. When Mary went to comfort Jesus. I love seeing Mary as a mother not just the mother of Jesus.
I am so excited for Season 4!!! I absolutely LOVE The Chosen. By far the best show EVER….. I was privileged to attend the Chosen Insider Conference this year in Dallas, TX. It was so incredible. I have been a Chosen fan since it began. If you haven’t seen the show (3 seasons so far), I strongly encourage you to watch all 3 seasons and be ready for season 4 in early 2024. You won’t regret it as Dallas Jenkins, the Director/Producer/Co-Writer is a creative genius. The cinematography, sound, and music are phenomenal. I guarantee you will love all things The Chosen… a top notch creation.
I got to watch this show on tablets given to us in prison. At first i refused to watch it thinking it was super corny but i finally did and i have never looked back. I have read the bible but seeing it as a show made it that much more real in my mind. Now im out of prison and am trying my best to live for my Lord jesus and the father 🙏
I am so excited for Monday! Thank you to the doners who made this series possible and all the hard work of the cast and crew! God has made it all possible through your talents. God bless and have an amazing, faith filled Christmas!
I’m so excited for Season 4 of The Chosen. The series has given me such a fresh look at the life of Jesus and his disciples. It makes me realize, “wow, this really happened,.” And has me excited about reading the Bible more often.
As a result of watching The Chosen ~ like 6 times through ~ I have committed my life to Jesus Christ, was baptized November 19th in the year of our Lord 2023 🙏🏼💜✝️💜🙏🏼 Life is so much easier with God The Father, God The Son & God The Holy Spirit in me. I fear naught . . . Peace is real . . . He grants it to us. Praise God form Whom all blessings flow . . . 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊 Thank you for this wonderful God-Sent production, Dallas. God Bless you and yours forever.
Welcome to the Family (of God), Sista! God bless you and keep you. May His angels have charge over you and keep you in all your ways. May you come to know the fullness of walking with Jesus every day and be saved in your mind and body. It is glory just to walk with HIm!
I don't see how any self professed Christian could see this as a bad thing. This show is doing more to spread the gospel than nearly anything on earth. I love how Christians from all walks of life are united around this show, understanding that it isn't an exact rendition, but it's by far the best. 🎉 I'm so thrilled to have been a part of this!
Some are worried about the artistic license they took, and the small alterations they made to make the story flow better. While I think the show is actually a net-good, I do understand the cautions of more conservative believers.
No, they're not necessarily pharisees. They're cautious about creative expressions of scripture. And rightly so. Don't just dismiss people's concerns outright and label them enemies of the gospel. Just as it's wrong to dismiss this show entirely, it's also unfair to pretend it's without flaws.@@carlomendoza01
The Chosen has been life changing for me. The actors and actresses are phenomenal. I’ve never seen anything so moving from the beginning and throughout so far. Thank you to everyone who has put forth such great efforts to bring Jesus and his followers to life. I look forward to meeting them one day in heaven. ❤
This show has changed my life forever during a time of total loss, confusion, sadness, grief, shame… just total darkness. This show has allowed me to understand the realism of Jesus and the teachings in a way that I never had access to before. It allowed the scripture and the stories to become so real that now my mind has no where else to go. This is it. This work has truly saved me, I am eternally grateful ❤
I know what you mean! Go back to Season 1, Episode 1, where He calls Mary by name. You can see the love He has for her in his eyes, his facial expressions even in the gentle way He holds her to comfort her! You see the RECOGNITION in HER FACE that it MUST BE GOD TALKING TO HER! I’ve watched it at least 10 times! Maybe it’s my imagination, but I think you can see the lanterns on the walls flicker because He’s healing her of her demons. I just get chills and tears when I watch it!
My life changed from watching The Chosen!!!! Jesus loves his people…all people! He came to heal the sick, oppressed, sinners like me. Never consider ourselves more highly than we ought. We are all beggars at the table needed Jesus. Thank you! Thank you!! The Holy Spirit is all over this show.
So beautifully done. The Chosen has been such a gift. Grateful to Dallas, the actors and his entire team for bringing this wonderful series to us. For making it so accessible and heartfelt. Blessings to all!
I am sharing The Chosen with 2 neighbors who now say they are beginning to read their Bibles. They were both raised in nominal Christian faith families. Now in their early 80s they are getting the real picture of the authentic Jesus and His story! PRAISE THE LORD FOR THIS!! Thank you so much for giving us this glimpse into Biblical history! I have been a supporter since the early “Pay it forward” days. Watching it again with my friends, I am now in my 4th or 5th time through seasons 1-3. Every time I rewatch it I see new glimpses into the life of Jesus and His friends. As a pastor’s wife, I feel it is helping me burst past the written page to visualize what life in first century Israel may have been like. The Chosen accesses more of our senses and helps us internalize God’s word in a unique way! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
This is what this show is really good for. I hate when people hate on this show for teaching a false gospel. You show this friends and family and it will peak their interest, then they eventually will check out the real thing and read the actual gospel.
I am waiting in joy but also in deep sadness, knowing what's coming. We know what is coming, and why, and that it must come, but some small part of us wants Him to stay with us physically, so we can see Him with our eyes, touch His garment, feel His embrace, hear His voice. We know He is here now, with us, as ever, yet still want Him more. I will drink up each moment of Season 4, as I have each preceding season, and watch it over and over again, as I have each preceding season. Sending love to all at The Chosen and to all who watch as I do. Joyful Christmas and peace be with you.
Wow. I can’t wait and yet I dread to see what’s coming. Thank you to Dallas and Jonathan and everyone who works on The Chosen. This show inspires me to love and thank Jesus more and to read God’s Word again and again.
My heart breaks to think about what's coming. I just can't wrap my head around the unconditional love of my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. But, I am grateful that He loved me so much, He paid my sin debt in full.
Oh yes! I can’t agree more. The fun, lightheartedness of the first seasons drew us in & showed us another side of His life but even then, it was hard knowing what is coming. No wonder He doesn’t show us all the details of OUR lives - I think I for one would be too consumed with dread of the bad days that I wouldn’t enjoy the good ones.
My love for Christ Jesus and my faith grows deeper as I watch this series progress. The music and acting are incredible. I honestly can't wait for Feb. I'm so proud for Dallas and the whole cast and crew for producing the most beautiful portrayal of Jesus' life that I've ever seen. May God continue to bless you all.

Even though he knew he could/would raise him from the dead; he was grieving the wages of sin, and that death came for his friend. He knows how we feel in our own losses.
Yes! Seeing that scene made me realize how much he weeps with us when we are grieving! Powerful!

What a wonderful thing to hear!!🎉🎉🎉 I’m so happy for you both!!❤❤❤
What a glorious testimony 🥰🥰🥰Glory to Jésus !!!!!
Holy shit that’s awesome. I’m a happily married Catholic with 2 kids. All of that is because Jesus is my Savior. Glad to hear about your husband’s baptism. Welcome to club.
Amazing testimony God bless you guys ❤

Love this❤
Beautiful ❤

I'm already crying my eyes out just watching the trailer and seeing Jesus's suffering. Forgive me Father, i know nothing about suffering but complain about everything every day. What He went thru so that we may be saved. Glory be to God the most High. ❤❤❤

"Jesus wept"
The shortest verse in the Holy Bible, yet holds one of the deepest emotions portrayed by Christ. Even in this short trailer, it came across so well 😭😭😭 Well done, team.
I absolutely cannot wait for that moment. I’m already sobbing just from that tiny clip.

Yes, “Jesus wept..” easy to say, easy to read, but so difficult to see. Ready not ready!!!
It looks amazing
My Jesus is grieving
My husband and I have been anxiously waiting for season 4, binge watched the first three seasons several times. He was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy many years ago, suddenly declined and passed away Nov 29th 😞 When the season 4 trailer dropped, I cried because he won’t get to see this season, but then I remembered he is literally in the presence of The Lord, and can now talk to all of these people in person. He’s also completely healed, Praise God. So I will watch season 4, but I will miss sharing and discussing it with him 🙏
I am so sorry for your loss, prayers.
PTL your husband "graduated" to be with Jesus Himself! 🙌 I pray the Holy Spirit will comfort you & guide you as you tread the remaining road alone, although you're never really alone as long as He is with you, amen? 🕊🤍🕊
We are sorry for you loss, @notavailable9118.

Watching the end of the last episode of season 4, I realized that if My Lord and Savior could mount that donkey and ride down to his torturous death, I can get out of bed each day and face my own trials, which seemed to pale in comparison to what He endured. Your show made me realize that. Thank you!

The end of the trailer almost made me cry. That moment when you see Jesus crying. I know he's just an actor, but Jonathan plays him so well. The whole show takes you back 2,000 years. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much for this show!
Yes
It definitely takes you back. But it still rings so true for today! From the people and divisions, to our leaders in government and some churches, and our personal lives.
This series speaks to all of that! And it shows how our Lord’s words still ring true today.
I feel the same way❤ it helps me to connect with Jesus more, as my dad said, " it makes it more real for me" ( my dad only recently started following Jesus and I am so grateful ❤ thank you God ❤)

Mary's monologues are always so deep and evocative. Whenever she speaks, its poetry :)
Do you have the full monologue?? I can only find it in bits and pieces?
You are so right.
It's inappropriate to have women narrating biblical events. Not a single line of the Bible was told by women. God is not interested in "equality".
Seeing Jesus crying brough me to tears too...
The Tears of Jesus are mine too.

Thank you Dallas for an incredible step of faith making The Chosen. You and the whole team, including your wife have made the life of Jesus and his disciples so real, so human, so down to earth. “Jesus wept” could be the one verse that describs this whole season 4 🥺

I couldn't agree more. I've got goosebumps and tears in my eyes, especially when Jesus collapses while crying. 😢

Agreed. That was very hard to see, but exactly how I would have imagined it. We don’t get that depth of feeling from the words in the bible. So good.
Thought I was the only one that felt that way
I know. Mine too. But a broken heart is definitely where we need to be. He can meet us there. I think we are too jovial. It isn't always joy. Life in Christ is so serious and about to be more serious.

Shalom
My faith has deepened because of this show. The show has helped me find a way to see Jesus as a true friend.

Amen 🙏🏻!
Thank you! Thank you everyone of you!❤
May He continue to bless and comfort you Sharon.
JESUS- Because of him heaven is possible. Thank you Jesus for your gift and sacrifice.
Amen!
Great gift!
Yes!!! Our family loves seeing the Chosen in theaters too.
Yes same here! I have bought the merch and what would be even better is if I could go to the premiere with Dallas and the actors!
OUTSTANDING…thank you for this series…it has been life changing for me and my family…my son is in prison and has been asking the Chaplin for The Chosen for months… they just received 24 episodes this week…HALLELUJAH! Praying for many hearts to be changed! Thank you Jesus!
Yes, every prison need The Chosen.
God bless you and your son. I hope this gets to spread throughout the prison, ministry and hearts and minds are changed forever especially there. So sorry for your loss.
What a blessing!
@@barbarascott3362thank you… that is so my heart❤
@@mrstac1Yes and Amen…thank you! B
🙏🏽
I am affected deeply also....and am so hungry for God. I don't find it shallow at all, quite the opposite. It's all I can think about 🙏
I find myself crying at some point in every episode - it's so hard for me to understand the love He had for us, but I sure am grateful.
🙌
Me too, friend
Agree. I think this is what's been really difficult for a lot of us. We couldn't comprehend the kind of LOVE GOD gives because the love we know in this world is different, flawed, and sometimes skewed.
Agreed, a love so great is unimaginable.
I agree wholeheartedly.
Well said ❤
I feel the same.
Yes I 💯 agree
Totally agree.
Merry Christmas!
agreed!!
Agreed!
Right? The end. It kills me to think of the sorrow of the Savior. His pain, his suffering……
More like how the story starts🤍
I agree that the Chosen team is a group of talented, gifted entertainers. Their efforts are making people wonder and then want to go to the Bible to read it for real.
You all are doing such an amazing job of glorifying Jesus!! Thank you!! For such a time as this...
Amen!
Amen
Indeed!
Yes!
Amen ❤
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit!!! ☦️
Amen 🙌🏽
Amen!
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be.
Now and forever and unto ages of ages, AMEN. ☦️
☦☦☦☦☦☦☦
Amen!
Amen
Just to know that Jesus experienced everything that we all do the pain, the hurt, the loss. It draws me closer to Him. The Chosen has brought me to my knees in praise and worship like never before. God bless you all
Well said! I feel the same!
I'm almost positive that 2:08 is the famous "Jesus wept" verse that is so easy to read and move on from. The visual Dallas and his team put together and Jonathan's acting in just this clip...man, this season is going to hit so hard.
Jonathan's acting is amazing
Yes it is.
Too hard... Its going like to be hit by a truck in a good way I guess 😢
Amen!!!
I started watching The Chosen after a trip to Israel last year. My Bible has never been more alive, true, heart changing than it has been this past year.
Same here ❤
I feel the same way.
The chosen brings all the stories I grew up with to life & puts them in an order that explains the story. I’m so thankful for this show.
Thank you for sharing how The Chosen has impacted you, Kris.
AMEN 🙏🏼
Couldn't agree more.
yes!
AMEN!
Yes, agreed!!! I tell people all of the time how this show has changed my faith!
I agree; I don’t know if I can handle watching the cruelty of the crucifixtion. But as one viewer stated, “I have two moths to prepare.
@@pattimoore9612 the Crucifixion is not until Season 6 so you have a minimum of 2 years to prepare.
Amen! What we learned in Sunday school was so watered down. I have read/studied my Bible so much more because of The Chosen.
So true, I love this series!
That 5 & 2 hints for 8
Me neither 😊
I could not agree with you more! We love The Chosen❤❤❤
Absolutely spot on!
Powerful moment!
It is true...when a doctor in the ER told me our son was dead, I fell to the ground, my legs could not hold me up.
I wonder if that moment is when Jesus learns that Lazereth has died
Very powerful moment for Jesus.
I don't believe Jesus was weeping because Lazarus died I think he was weeping because of the little faith people had.
The actors do a phenomenal job acting and Dallas has done a phenomenal job directing and listening to the Holy Spirit. My husband and I have watched all three season ten times. We even watch it on the CW. Thanks Dallas and to all involved in the making of The Chosen.
Mary Magdalene’s voiceover gave me chills over and over again. I’m waiting in nervous anticipation for Season 4. Powerful series.
Yes, that was cool!
I just watched it again. Chills. And a swollen heart hearing Mary narrate “A man of sorrows…” while Jesus dissolves in tears and his mother comforts him. So real. So relatable.
Wholeheartedly agree!
I experienced the same. So powerful.
Right!? It makes it so much more intense.
🙌
I love the conversation between Jesus & Nicodemus also. I go back to watch it over & over. I also love Jesus' interactions with the children.
Yes, yes and YES
Yes, agreed.
Thanks for sharing how The Chosen has impacted your life.
I am so excited for Monday! Thank you to the doners who made this series possible and all the hard work of the cast and crew! God has made it all possible through your talents. God bless and have an amazing, faith filled Christmas!
You said it. THANK YOU THE CHOSEN!!
I’m so excited for Season 4 of The Chosen. The series has given me such a fresh look at the life of Jesus and his disciples. It makes me realize, “wow, this really happened,.” And has me excited about reading the Bible more often.
Yes I absolutely agree with you!
As a result of watching The Chosen ~ like 6 times through ~ I have committed my life to Jesus Christ, was baptized November 19th in the year of our Lord 2023 🙏🏼💜✝️💜🙏🏼
Life is so much easier with God The Father, God The Son & God The Holy Spirit in me. I fear naught . . . Peace is real . . . He grants it to us. Praise God form Whom all blessings flow . . .
🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊
Thank you for this wonderful God-Sent production, Dallas. God Bless you and yours forever.
That is AWESOME
Congratulations, May God bless you and keep you! 😊
Welcome to the Family (of God), Sista! God bless you and keep you. May His angels have charge over you and keep you in all your ways. May you come to know the fullness of walking with Jesus every day and be saved in your mind and body. It is glory just to walk with HIm!
Praise God 🙌🏼👏🏼🛐
❤ That’s wonderful!!! 🙌
Cannot wait! I love how this series is bringing the Bible to life and sharing the good news of the gospel.
While I think the show is actually a net-good, I do understand the cautions of more conservative believers.
what do you mean a part of this, are you an actor on the show??
Those are just bitter, ignore them.
Those that see this as bad are Pharisees. Pharisees do exist til today, just ignore them. History indeed repeats itself.
The other 3 seasons have opened my eyes to just how much God loves people. I think season 4 will be even more amazing. ❤️
I feel the same!
It sounds like it will take you deeper
I know what you mean! Go back to Season 1, Episode 1, where He calls Mary by name. You can see the love He has for her in his eyes, his facial expressions even in the gentle way He holds her to comfort her! You see the RECOGNITION in HER FACE that it MUST BE GOD TALKING TO HER! I’ve watched it at least 10 times! Maybe it’s my imagination, but I think you can see the lanterns on the walls flicker because He’s healing her of her demons. I just get chills and tears when I watch it!
Agree!
I am fascinated by how they picture how close 'power' and vulerablity are together.
Love love love this series… changed my life. Made me love Jesus even more and has opened my eyes to His incredible love for me.
So glad they had a chance to experience “The Chosen❤ - it is life changing!!
Kathleen😊
I am waiting in joy but also in deep sadness, knowing what's coming. We know what is coming, and why, and that it must come, but some small part of us wants Him to stay with us physically, so we can see Him with our eyes, touch His garment, feel His embrace, hear His voice. We know He is here now, with us, as ever, yet still want Him more. I will drink up each moment of Season 4, as I have each preceding season, and watch it over and over again, as I have each preceding season. Sending love to all at The Chosen and to all who watch as I do. Joyful Christmas and peace be with you.
Jesus is the truth, the way and the life
Wow. I can’t wait and yet I dread to see what’s coming. Thank you to Dallas and Jonathan and everyone who works on The Chosen. This show inspires me to love and thank Jesus more and to read God’s Word again and again.
Amen, I agree!!
I agree. This has been a beautiful rendition of the life oh Jesus and His followers.
Amen 🙏🏻 May God bless them and keep them in good health.
