Texavina make non-chop seats for the cb500 so you don't have to hoop the frame. Get some mod cons going on the 500 imo! Electronic ignition, maybe a stainless delkavic exhaust, modern suspension, TLC for the frame/powdercoat/zinc primer and the tank! Glad to see you back on the cafe's man! 4into1 are also great for all 500 parts!
Dude, feel free to send me any of that stuff for vapor blasting. You know I got you. You can soften those carb boots using a combo of like WIntergreen and Alcohol.(something like that)
Great canvas for a Brat! I have an 82 CB750C that I plan to "Bratify" some day, but my FJR1300 yells "Ride ME" whenever I start tinkering on the Honda. Yep, I would def convert that 500 into a Brat style bike.
Try bench syncing the carbs to get rid of the clunk at idle. I worked on a cb550 last year and ran into the same weird noise. Bench syncing alleviates It. Also, it wouldn't hurt to adjust fuel screws.
Awesome to see you doing another cafe! Clip on bars would look sick, bar end mirrors, drop that headlight! If you're keeping the stock seat a tail chop and bit of a shorter exhaust would be cool, closer to under your feet? Idk, looking forward to seeing what you do with it man.
You're lucky, guy! I've been looking for Cb or cm honda for years, and you just pick them up. Lol Cafe bikes are nice but cosmetics only. Don't chop this bike up. You have an easy fix hear where it's cosmetics. I'll trade you my k100 bmw 1985 for this.
I’ve seen you do a few carbs but hey why not invest in a ultrasonic cleaner what you do works but that would be so much better, looking forward to this build thank you for sharing….,
i rememberd the cb750 you build back then and then you vids dissapeared out of my feed. if i'm not mistaken it's around your gratduation or something. i hope you doing well man it's been a long time.
I love cafe racers, but I stopped building them. Too uncomfortable. I do the upright sports bikes now (Speed Triple, Monster 900). Can ride for hours and not get tired.
See it as a rebirth of the machine... it's gonna have better suspensions, better wheels and tires, better electric system, better features and will roll in a new skin and style.
Are you using automotive fuel line? Also, the 750 build from awhile back doesn't look like a cafe' racer. It looks like a chopper that got rear-ended. This one will have a better profile due to its older design, flatter layout but it's still not gonna look like the old euro and brit bikes of the cafe' era. If I were doing it, I wouldn't chop a complete bike that will never resemble the look you desire. Head to the nearest motorcycle scrap yard and get a frame from the era, a vintage motor to rebuild, and go from there. Swap meet season is near, you can find accessories and controls that are age-appropriate. This project is just gonna turn out to be another slapdash 80s abortion faux cafe' mock up. It doesn't have the proper ergos and won't unless you tuck the rake and shallow the top tube angle. You might as well go get you a scrap frame and learn how to weld.
Finally!!! a cafe racer on fireee
You raised the bar pretty high with your first cafe racer. It's a clasic on YT. Looking forward to following the new build.
Look forward to seeing this thing done. I had a ‘76 CB750 that I attempted rebuilding when I was 15… bike it still sitting at my parents in pieces.
This is what I subscribe for years ago! It's all about builds and restorations, that's what you're good at. Looking forward to this one
This is what I have been waiting for since the last Cafe racer build 😎
How gratifying it must be to tear stuff apart and put it back together and it runs!!!!!!!!! Awesome job! This kid's a hoot!
Bro that makes me happy. That first ride is always a blast. Can’t wait to see where this build goes.

I REMEBER THIS BIKE! HECK YEAH LETS DO IT!
My friend just sold me a ‘76 CB550F. Excited because I own a CB750K6 to match! Love the fours.
Nice project. I hope it's gonna work out for you! I'll watch your videos with interest.
Good to see you back with Cafe Racers and love that Honda! 👍
the old inline fours are great. Wise move man
Awesome to see you back to building bikes.
Its Always a pleasure to see u fixing these oldschool bikes 👍🏻💪🏻
Murder it out, big choppy tires, and no frigging chrome.
With those carb boots (insulator's) get yourself a heat gun and heat up the insulator's gently until warm and those carbs will slide in like butter.
Hell yeah man. I got super excited when when this thing turned over and ran. Always awesome.
Cant wait to see your next videos.

So excited for another cafe racer! I hope we get to see a bit of angle change on the tank and a custom seat! Gonna be awesome, love the cbs

Looking forward to hearing more about your vision for this cafe racer! Glad you're back to these! It's why I subscribed!

YESSSSSS it's a cafe racer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Huzzah! Stoked for this one!
Awesome, this is going to make a great build.

Excited for the build
Nice bike. I'll be watching. Don't cut it up.
I’ve seen you do a few carbs but hey why not invest in a ultrasonic cleaner what you do works but that would be so much better, looking forward to this build thank you for sharing….,
GL with the build, don't go Brat version of a Cafe. Got to have a classic tail piece.
It would be cool to see you build a cafe racer out of an old dirtbike
Cool man I love café racers I have two can't wait to see what you gonna do
Awesome video! keep em coming! chop the rear fender
i rememberd the cb750 you build back then and then you vids dissapeared out of my feed. if i'm not mistaken it's around your gratduation or something. i hope you doing well man it's been a long time.
nice looking forward to the build...have 78 kz400 she's definitely one of my favorites
Cafe racers rock
i would make a flat tracker/ scrambler still good but a little bit different
Let's Go! 🏍
Glad to see a that CB500 get a new life!
If your gonna build it go all out, but if you want things original restore it. I say tear it down to bare bones and build the cafe of your dreams.
Let's goooo!!
hurrah!!!
Love this!
Thanks mangu!
My Spider-senses said POLICE CAR!!! at 21:20!!
You get pinched doing this, on that, in Britain, your licence is GONE!!😅😅😅
Great idea GG! That bike definitely needs some testosterone!
I love it

Hey golden guy do you still have the yahama rx50? I'm in the process of making a scrambler out of mine
Sweet
love the video
Nice
I hope this will be a interesting series but question though what happen to the TS185?
I am buying parts to finish the ts185 once and for all as we speak. I will make a video about it very soon.
Skip the coffee and build a vintage style full racer instead! 😉
I'd go the scrambler route rather than cafe 👍
dont cut up original parts,. get aftermarket or trashed parts, and get those fixed..
That's a good point, I'll do that.
Please don't chop up that beautiful machine. Restore it!
CHOP IT CHOP IT
CAFE RACER!!!
Chop CHOP.....
See it as a rebirth of the machine... it's gonna have better suspensions, better wheels and tires, better electric system, better features and will roll in a new skin and style.
If I was you restore it and get a proper air box for it
woohoooo 360p im so early!
Do a Japanese brat style
please dont cut up that old classic honda
I'm gonna keep it classy, not gonna cut it up. Don't worry.
I hate when I get that look from my wife for anything . . . never good . . . GREAT VIDEOS . . . ignore the look
The look was because we were meeting her dad for lunch and I was making us late 🙄. Wouldn't recommend.
'Tighten up' and 'tighten down' mean the same thing...
Strange, eh? 😒
Ahh fuck after the commercial yep he’s chopping a vintage honda
I won't chop it too much 🤣
Please wear gloves. My anxiety levels go up watching you ride barehand
I’m coming into this hoping you don’t chop a honda
CHOP IT
Are you using automotive fuel line?

It's just 1/4 inch fuel line for carburetor, not for pressurized systems such as a fuel pump.
@@GoldGuyRides buy a roll of 7.5 mm. and 5.5 to keep handy. OD on universal fuel line is too big for cramped routing on motorcycles.
sorry but please dont cut the rear end off. Work with it.
no bueno
You should be wearing gloves boots and general be riding more professional you don't thrash old bikes either
Gonna have to disagree I thrash my 79/76 kz chopper hard tail, just as my father did for 20 years before me.
Fare enough just be careful tarmac is pretty hard I know. I still think your video's are cool will watch more
