I think they need to fire their daughter and replace her with a nonbinary daughter of color to help broaden the appeal of the channel. A rainbow pin and wheelchair would be a plus as well.
The fastest plane you were thinking about was the SR-71 Blackbird.
And now we have the SR-72 its replacement.
SR-71 “BlackBird” is my personal favorite but now they are releasing the SR-72 “DarkStar” which is even faster and better. I so wanna see one up close
US Airforce Museum is in a suburb of Dayton, Ohio. Highly recommended if you are able to make it there on your trip. So much to see that it’s hard to cover it in one day but there is a B2 on display in the modern day hanger.
I concur, visit relatives in Cincinnati und they took me to Dayton Museum. Probably most impressive collection of planes from every era included modern Russian und USAF planes. Not have anything like it in Germany.
it has been a long time since I've been there, but the thing that always impressed me about this museum was the fact that you could get right up to many of the planes.
I have a childhood friend that retired from the U.S. Airforce who had a top security clearance and was flown daily from Los Vegas to area 51 to work on the stealth planes. He will say very little to this day about what goes on out there. I question him about UAP's and he ignores any questions, they chose the right man to trust.
Top secret isn't really that high in the chain. To be on an M1 tank, back in the day when the armor was 'secret', you had to have a TS clearance. A dime a dozen. Most likely your friend had a higher clearance then that.
Wait till y’all see the B-21 RAIDER Bomber replacing the B-2.
The B-21 is a B-2 without the training wheels. It's a whole new beast.
If you can make it. The Museum Of The US Airforce in Dayton Ohio has a huge display that will take almost the entire day to go through and it's FREE to get in. They do have a B-2 Stealth Bomber (test aircraft), an SR-71 Balckbird, and an A-10 Worthog along with over 300 other aircraft. There's also an on-site restaurant, IMax theater and gift shop.
I told them about this museum also, it's unbelievable

The USAF museum is awesome, however for those that never been, wear good walking shoes. The place, last time I looked, was 4 large hangars now.
I was relaxing in my pool one afternoon when one of these flew right over my house and it was terrifying and awesome at the same time. Even though I knew these things existed and I knew they were friendly it was so other worldly and thunderously loud with booming and crackling noises that made my adrenaline skyrocket. You could feel your lungs rumble. I would say it sounded 4x times a loud as what I would have expected it to be and in an almost instant it had flown out of the valley and disappeared.
I went to a few airshows with my grandfather from 1974 to 1977. I met Jimmy Doolittle, Pappy Boyington, and the Blue Angels and other pilots. Jimmy and Pappy let me sit in the cockpits of their planes. I had a good time and got to spend the day with planes and my grandfather. My grandfather had a plane back then and he would fly me to San Antonio or Dallas to eat lunch on the weekends. We spent alot of time in his plane. My grandfather passed away at 81 in 2001. I still have a couple of his flight books.
You're thinking of the SR-71 Blackbird, when you talked about the short time between London and N.Y.
There is a touching backstory to the B-2. During and after WW II, Jack Northrup, the President of Northrup Corporation, designed several flying wing aircraft. Unfortunately, technology at the time was not advanced enough for them to be successful. Northrup was terribly disappointed by their failure. He retired from the company in 1952. He was still alive in 1980 when the B-2 was under development. Tragically, a series of illnesses had left him bedridden and unable to speak. Even though the B-2 was still a Top Secret project, executives at Northrup Grumman were given permission to show him the plans. They also let him hold a model in his hands. He held the model in his hands for several minutes while he examined it. The story says that he took a piece of paper and wrote : "Now I know why God has kept me alive for 25 years." He died 10 months later in February 1981.
The Germans also had a flying wing aircraft. It was a prop job.
I have seen pictures of it, but have heard nothing about its effectiveness in combat.

You're right that they wouldn't show all this information when the plane was new.
A few years back they had an airshow across town. I was walking toward the building where I work. A B-2 swooped down out of the clouds right in front of me and I was staring at it face to face. It then pulled up and banked away.
Holy cow! Did you see that? But nobody else was there. At that moment I was the only person as far as the eye could see.
Private show. That was just for me. I'll take the win.
We're building the replacement for the B-2 now, the B-21 Raider. It looks very similar, but we plan to procure a lot more B-21s. We only built 20 B-2s due to their cost. The windows on the B-2 also have a special coating to keep radar waves from going through the windows and reflecting off the surfaces inside the cockpit which would then be detected by the enemy. Same for the Raptor and F-35.
Remember all these aircraft were built to replace the BUFF (B52) and guess what they are the ones being replaced.
I live a few hours away from Wright Patterson AF base in Ohio and have had this plane fly over my head while I was mowing the lawn. It was flying less than 1000 feet (300 meters?) high. What an amazing sight to see, you would have loved it!
There is a stealth bomber at the museum at the Marshal Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama along with the Saturn and other spacecrafts. They offer space camps for school age students. It’s a great and educational experience for all ages. Huntsville played a major part in putting a man on the moon as well as other missions. Werner Von Braun was in charge of the space program.
I'm quite lucky - I live on a hill that over looks RAF Fairford. I get to see many a variety of planes every year including the air show - one year I was in a field as a fighter was just hovering over in the next field over - the noise was tremendous ( only a 10 minute drive to actually get to the airfield ). I also get to see the planes going over to RAF Brize Norton ( Yup - Air Force One went right over my house when Obama came to visit - It was HUGE ). I remember back in the day when RAF Lyneham was open, the first time the B2 came to the UK. HAHAHAHA - apparently the police and air force had hundreds of calls about a UFO. Didn't have social media back then.
I helped build all 21 of these. Here’s a fun fact: The landing gear is from a Boeing 767 Airliner.
10:38 we have a anti-ship missle that can stay 10 feet above the water and can navigate with the stars, it can even independently recognize enemy ships. If many were fired they and know what the other missles are going for so they don't hit the same target.

It has been used in dramatic movies auch as "Independence Day". The only comedic use of one that I'm aware of is in the former "Fox" sitcom, "The Last Man on Earth" in which he took his wife cruising along the streets of, Washington, DC! Not being an astronaut like his brother, he didn't fly it anywhere! He simply drove it like a car or truck! 😂😅
I was in the Marines stationed on Naha Air base in Okinawa, Japan. They flew off the Air Base towards our barracks on a hill overlooking part of the flight line. I can still remember watching the after burners and in about 3-5 seconds the red flame would be gone. If you never experienced a take off of an SR-71 you have no idea what you missed. Cruising speed was 3.2 mach. I lost my picture of it while on the flight line with engines running. I believe they flew every Thursday night to take pictures of North Korea, China, and Russia.
In the Nebraska space air museum that’s the first thing you see. It’s pretty damn awesome, driving there you’ll see retired fighter jets.
The design foundation of the the B-2 is not new. The design was first used in the 1940's with an experimental aircraft known as the Flying Wing. It is briefly featured in the 1953 movie "The War of the Worlds". The Northrup aircraft company came up with the concept in the 1940's and today's B-2 is built by Northrop Grumman. The combined companies have a long history of building military aircraft for the U.S. both before and after their merger.

It's not the first flying-wing bomber in the USAF inventory. In 1941, Northrop proposed a flying-wing design for the USAAC (later USAAF then USAF). It finally flew as the XB-35 in 1946. Later they improved it and submitted the YB-49 a year later. The major difference being the YB-49 was all-jet engine. My Dad who was a B29 and later WB50 flight engineer said the bomber community was extremely excited to get this plane in service as it had HUGE performance advantages over anything else at the time. They were cancelled due to conservatism in the USAAF/USAF, and post-war budget reductions.
Bill Northrop was invited by Boeing to watch the first flight of the B-2 prototype.
I remember attending my first live symphony and feeling my internal organs resonating with the music. What an odd experience! But then I attended an air show ... wow!

Consider visiting one or more of the really special aircraft museums when you visit the U.S.A. There are many others of course. The ones that are listed shouldn't disappoint.

Just think the B2 is 30-40 year old tech, it's replacement the B21 Raider is the worlds first 6th gen plane and just started production and had its first flight was late last year. The B21 will be a little smaller but can be flown unmanned or manned and if the rumors are true could possibly have air to air missiles to self defend if needed (not confirmed but highly speculated).

You should look into a vid on the f-117, although retired (still used from time to time, in test flights, but not in active duty).
Also, the sr-71 would be a great one to look into.
On another note, I seen you mentioned that this vid lost monetization, that is because of the German HO-229 that was around the 4ish minute mark (Germany had a symbol in WWII that isn't a great symbol to use today)

About the in flight refueling. As I understand it there is an operator in the tanker plane that helps to "fly" the fuel boom into the connector, note the wings on the boom.

Where I live in Queensland Australia. I'm not far from the Air Force base out in the country. The Americans were practising with one of these bombers. Couldn't believe it when I saw it, incredible noise.
You need to check out the replacement for the B-2 the B21 Raider. The fastest plane you mention is the SR-71 Blackbird. It's last flight was Oct. 1999. It holds Speed records still and could cross the USA in 67 minutes. It cost around $1 million usd per flight. There are a couple of funny videos by pilots to checkout too. Buzzing an airport, and a ground speed check.
I have watched several flybys and loved it, great plane!
Wish you all could be at a college football game or an NFL game when these beautiful birds do a fly over! It's stunning! Before a game or the Rose Bowl New Years parade it suddenly appears, seeming to float almost silently over the crowd. It really does float and when it first appears almost everyone takes a huge breath. It doesn't fly over like the jets, hair on fire, it just appears and glides, then it's gone and the cheering begins. It's so magnificent that it takes your breath away!
From the side view while in the air, it seriously looks like an Eagle 🦅 soaring through the air when they dont flap their wings!!
Some cool information. The refueling plane hose that brings the fuel to the plane has two small airplane wings on it that are remote-controlled. So the fuel line is flying through the air using the wind over the control surfaces to control direction. They act like elevons which are ailerons and elevators combined together.
Dayton, Ohio has a good air show. One of the best I've seen but I've never been to Oshkosh which is supposed to be the biggest/ best air show.
The best view of the B-2 I've ever seen was when me and my dad were out in the middle of the California high desert near Edwards AFB when a B-2 flew over the top of us at about 200 feet off the ground and he waggled his wings over us. One of the loudest planes I've ever heard. It certainly doesn't sound stealth.
Usually it was a flight of four C-130 Hercules flying in formation at 200 - 500 feet off the ground which was pretty awesome to see as well.

The National Air Force Museum is an hour north in Dayton. They have a yearly air show that is awesome.
We have one of the top 5 zoos in the world, great baseball in the summer (first pro team), very family friendly city. The best amusement park King's Island, and one of the other top ones is 216 mi (3hr18m) drive north in Sandusky.

Many Air Force bases have Observation areas for the public to watch aircraft take off and land. If you know a current or retired Navy member they can get you on what is called a "Tiger Cruise" where the Carrier goes about 20 miles off the coast and lets you watch the take off, landing and super sonic fly by that can not legally be done over US territory. THOSE are awesome. Love you videos, keep it up....your family chemistry reminds me of years past in the US. We need more of you guys...Found that house yet? YOU are the poster child for what we should be allowing to become Americans. OH, dont forget the US is landing on the moon today for the 1st time since the 70s. It is not a "US Govt" funded mission. It will (hopefully if all goes well) be the 1st time in Human history a Private company manages to land a rover on the moon. That is around 5:30pm EST I think thats 11:30pm for u guys.

No B-2s in museums. But if you want an Air and Space museum go to Washington, D.C. The National Air and Space Museum has two locations: one in Washington, DC and one in Virginia. Epic planes, jets, even Space Shuttle
The Museum in Dulles (Just outside of Washington DC) is an amazing Museum. It also has a Space Shuttle. Also the Air Force Museum in dayton ohio is also cool. The Intrepid Aircraft carrier in New York is also an awesome Museum. It is an old carrier and is tiny compared to today's standard but it just shows you how big the carriers are.

I've seen the B2 Bomber maybe around 5 times and every time I see it I always feel so excited to see it, it's like something from Star Wars It's my favorite plane of all ❤
As mentioned below, the Air Force museum in Ohio is a great place to go for planes. They have a B-2, so you can see one. They also have the F-117, the F-22 raptor and the fastest air breathing air plane ever, the SR-71 Blackbird. It’s so fast that missiles cant find and then shoot it down before it’s already too far away to catch. It’s an amazing aircraft with a more amazing story. But the best plane is also there, that’s the F-15. It has an unmatched combat record of 104 to 0 wins in combat. It shot down a moving helicopter with a bomb..not a missile… a bomb! It can fly from the US to the UK without refueling (~3400 miles), it has shot down a moving satellite in space just to show the soviets that we could. It holds records for speed and climb times, it can hit speeds of Mach 2.5 or ~ 1900 mph, it has enough power to take off, go vertical, and the accelerate, it can fly so fast it literally does not need wings and will become a missile, it has actually done it too as it bumped into another plane and lost a wing then was able to continue to fly and land safely without a wing. The F-15 eagle is the master of the sky!
when you're looking for Air museums, definitely go to Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio....also, the Nation Air and Space museum just outside of Washington.....the ORIGINAL Wright Brothers flyer is there, along with Charles Lindbergh' s "Spirit of St Louis, the Command module from Apollo 11, the "Glamorous Glennis", 1st to exceed the speed of sound, and many more historical aircraft.......
Something most don’t realize about all modern aircraft. Maintenance is we can’t use anything electric. It’s all hand tools no batteries no plugs. Every screw is done by hand. Otherwise we could damage the aircraft with static or current.

The Air and Space Museum is a must see in Washington D.C. The collection is divided into two parts…the larger portion is at Dulles Airport…take the Silver Line Metro to or from Dulles Airport…
Visit the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum AKA Udvar Hazy right next to Dulles Airport outside DC. The SR-71 is there, as is the space shuttle and a whole punch of planes.
I saw a Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk when it was first released. It was roped off and under armed guard. I saw a B-1 also. I also got to look down an underground nuclear missile silo in North Dakota. Can't do that stuff now days.

When I was little my family was driving from Michigan to Louisiana and we passed through Missouri. When I saw a B2 flying through the sky I said " Look dad a UFO". He said very assuringly to me " No son thats one of ours".😂

When this jet came out in the 1980s, there was no need to keep it a secret, because they ran about 2 billion each, in 1980s currency. But really, it's more effective as a threat, than in use, so it's important that our adversaries are aware of what it can do. The president who brought these about, had a saying, "Peace through strength", and this fits that bill.
I grew up by the military base in Missouri where this bomber is kept. It was like living next to an air show every day. We saw all kinds of weird jets and flying things from that base. Still haven't seen some of them show up in public. Not UFO's because they were clearly coming off the base. Everyone says the government has things we don't know about. But that isn't just an assumption to me.
You need to find a video from the first gulf war when the stealth bombers hit Baghdad the Iran’s were just shooting into the sky because they couldn’t see the stealth bombers
The biggest Airshow on earth is in Oshkosh Wisconsin at the end of July every year. 20,000+ aircraft, 500,000+ visitors. If you every make it there you won't be disappointed. If you ever make it there look me up, I sell flightless passes and will hook you up!
The plane is as wide as 2 and 1/4th hockey rinks from goal to goal for perspective for your son @Jono. I hope that helps the perspective for your son Sir.
It would be nice if you could scare up some material on the the SR-71. The most dope plane ever built in my opinion.

Stealth aircraft is not really a new thing. In WW2 the Brits had a small bomber "made of wood" nick-named the Mosquito Bomber. Since it was small and made of wood it gave a very small and ambiguous reading on enemy radar

Love all of the fighter jets as well , especially the old stuff from all of the countries, not just the ones from here in America. As a kid I used to have my entire bedroom ceiling covered in hanging model planes. When I was a kid we used to have an air show at Brookley field every year. Mobile Alabama we are an hour away from Pensacola Florida where one of our naval air bases are. They have the Blue Angels flying up and down the beach all of the time, and also numerous varieties of the other modern planes. In the state of Alabama we build Abrams tanks and we have Apache attack helicopter bases and we have Coast guard bases and we have military museums of all types throughout the state. We build some of the most advanced naval ships here as well. Plus Huntsville Alabama is attached to NASA and the space program and we have the highest concentration of rocket engineers in the world.
A-10 Thunderbolt (aka "Warthog")
The two world wars and Cold War put aircraft and rocket technology on hyper fast forward. That's how in only 66 years we went from the Wright Brothers' 1903 first short flight at Kitty Hawk in basically a powered paper and wood kite to Apollo astronauts walking on the Moon in 1969.
Neat right! Just think about the stuff we don't know about. You will never fool me into thinking we went from steam power to jet power in less than 100 years without Aliens 👽.
I used to be like you, I loved planes and military planes especially, then I spent my time in the Navy working on them and seeing them all the time, now I still like them, I retired next to a Marine Airbase with F-18s and F-35s flying over my house all day every day. Don't mind the noise (used to it), but they always seem to fly over right at that point in a movie where I am about to find out "who did it (or whatever) and all I hear is: "The person who committed the murder was .... ROOOOOAAARRRRRR...SWWWWWIIIIISSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH... ZOOOOOOMMMMM.." :))
Idk about anyone else, but id absolutely love to see yall react to some native american cultures. Theres so many you could get lost in them for weeks on end, and their all so beautiful!
There’s an air museum in Chino, California that had the last of Jack Northrop’s four prototypes from WWII until 5 years ago. They found it in a boneyard in 1982, after a 13 year restoration, it flew again for the first time in 1995. That flying prototype was the Northrop N9MB, and it was lost in a fatal crash 5 years ago.
I was a school bus driver, and I had a student that would get "Car Sickness (IE Motion sickness) and we are not allowed to give them meds, but we found that if we put him in the front seats, near to the driver, that would work. For some reason, people get car sick more often in a rear seat rather then the front, so if he is old enough to ride up front, that will help and, in the bus, try the front seats - let the coach and/or the driver know. They will not want you getting sick and will do whatever they can (so they don't have to clean it up).
It is great to posses these super weapons as long as we never have to use them. I pray that that day never comes.
Pops would enjoy the EAA (ExperimentalAircraft Association) Air Show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin held for 1 week in July/August. Upwards of 10,00 planes fly in, about 3000 planes are for show and almost 700,000 people attend during the week. Oops.. probably too crowded. I am not associated, just love the spectacle, and yes this Bomber has been there...

I don't think people understand how deep the 60-meter bunker buster bomb goes. 60 meters is roughly 180 feet straight down through solid dirt. When people build buildings, it's a massive undertaking to dig down 40-50 feet. This thing will drop through 180 feet of solid dirt and then explode, all in the span of 1-2 seconds.
The things they are playing with now are WAY out there. Interdimensional travel to other planets and spaces in time and space.
