Vanilla 28 does have Vanilla in the ingredients. Mona explained that that's why it changes color to a dark purple juice. Because vanilla oxidizes. The more you know!❤ Great video.

My favorite vanilla EVER (and signature scent for a while now) is Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth!!! It has several notes/versions of vanilla in it like chantilly cream, marshmallow, Madagascar vanilla, whipped cream, etc. It is so delectable, warm and inviting. It also reminds me of Disney’s candy shops, but simultaneously my fiancé’s favorite perfume on me. I know you loved Sweet Tooth, I was surprised it wasn’t included here. Nevertheless, great video!! You have definitely turned me into a vanilla lover😋

One of my favorite cheap perfumes and may be the least expensive in my collection is Outremer Vanille Eau de Toilette!! It’s an easy sweet vanilla with a slight hint of cotton candy.

Ksenja you were soo fking smart to not fall for the BL hype. I unfortunately did and im now selling my BL. Ive done so many comparisons with BL and Eclaire and straight up Eclaire is 1:1, like its not a dupe but an actual clone! So letting you know you got virtually the same fragrance and saved $100! Also, BL on me had this weird almost minty thing going on after drydown and i dont get that with Eclaire at all. Love it, gourmand heaven ❤
Side note, Disney uses these scent cannisters that they waft into the air. I used to work in the Christmas and the candy store- even the resorts use these and have their own scent to trigger memories and happiness each time you come back 🥰 so cute lol

Ksenja I totally respect your top 12 Vanillas...100% fantastic choices! If I had to add to this list - I'd say Imaginary Authors Whiff of a Waffle Cone, Commodity Milk and Gold (for two completely different reasons) - All the Zara Vanillas (they are all dupes for other vanillas like: Hypnotic Poison, Eilish, Myrrh and Tonka, Loubi-Rouge, Bianco Latte etc)...The new Kayali Vanilla candy rock sugar and BabyCat or Vanagloria or Vanilla Vice (the Vivamor version not the Sniff version)...That covers all the bases! LOL...But, there are SO many bad@$$ Vanilla fragrances out there! Thank You for sharing all your choices with us!
Currently, my favorite vanilla scent is Vanilla Woods by The 7 Virtues, and my favorite floral vanilla is Roses Vanille by Mancera.

I don’t see people talk about Black Opium Le Parfum much but holy black coffee vanilla smother me. I didn’t even like the OG much and gave a tester of Le Parfum a go, used the whole thing on me and immediately got a 1oz bottle 😂 It lasts overnight and its strong with the coffee note keeping it from being too basic or juvenile while still giving me heavy vanilla intoxication. Amazing surprise!
Gentle fluidity gold is a BEAUTIFUL vanilla with the juniper berries! I adore it! I sold my vanilla 28 which was the ORIGINAL BATCH where the juice was a very dark amber color (never purple like new formula) and the buyer adores it! Another beautiful vanilla is the Kayali vanilla rock candy sugar! Let it macerate for a bit and omg!!! It’s to die for!

Vanilla lover here as well 🍦I recently got the vanilla 28 mini it took me awhile but I’m loving it. After I sprayed it I kept getting like an old lady scent but after it dried down it was the most beautiful vanilla I ever smelled.

As someone who's not really into vanilla perfumes, I find Van Cleef & Arpels Bois Dore really addictive. I don't know but I really like that perfume there's something different in it from other vanilla perfumes that I have already smelled. Delicious but I can't say it's completely gourmand but borderline but at the same time luxurious classy and sophisticated.

Burberry goddess is very similar to mon gerlain and to YSL Libre. I have the sample of Burberry goddess I like it but never feel drawn to it, but I do want to get the YSL Libre Le parfum that one I loooooved it 😍. Still is one of those perfumes for me that I need to be on a mood to wear them. I am a freshy-floral-woody girl perfume lover. But I still love your content, and I think you have given great suggestions for someone who is not a fresh perfume lover 😊

I think the Libre is just more zesty to me than the Burberry so I don’t even think of it as just vanilla! Plus the orange blossom is so intense in Libre
I have Burberry Goddess and YSL Libre. They may have a lil bit of similarity but safe to have both coz there's enough differences between them that you can enjoy.

Vanilla is my favorite scent. Of all time. I live in Florida too and in this heat you have to wear a fragrance that outlasts the heat, lol. I honestly wear the Nemat Vanilla oil most of the summer. I like their Amber oil as well and they smell amazing dabbed on the skin together. You can’t beat the price for that kind of longevity.
Thank you for telling me about the Disneyland pastry wagon smell! I've been searching for that scent for my entire life. Since I'm in Japan, it's quite difficult to purchase Lattafa fragrances, but I'd definitely buy one if I could.
You can wear vanilla all year round or any fragrance you choose it's your preference .
Vanilla Potion is deliciously amazing!! I found a bottle at Marshalls and will 100% scoop up another bottle if I see another one. It's the perfect mixing vanilla and great on its own. Love it!

I love tobacco and vanilla together. I got this scent that was locally made in my area by Beacon Mercantile. Its like a smokey vanilla but not too smokey. Its subtle sweet and i wear it when i go out on dates. :)

I got that Vanilla Potion from Amazon in May. At 1st, I wasn't too sure about it; smelled very perfumy to me. But it has grown on me and I really like it now!

Vanilla is my *favorite* note; the only thing that makes a vanilla perfume better is if it's milky/creamy. I would *LOVE* a lactonic/milky perfumes *on a budget* video! and yes, taste changes! after my pregnancy and postpartum, everything just smelled different to me (also covid nose). there's some perfumes/bodysprays that I absolutely ADORED before getting pregnant and since that point, I can't stand those same fragrances; it's been 3 years and I *STILL* can't stand them
the best lactonic vanilla I've tried is Bianco Latte, it's pricier but for the scent, longevity and projection it's so worth it! absolutely beautiful scent.

Thank you for all your recommendations of vanilla perfumes. Always looking for a new vanilla perfume. They are my all time favourite scent. Billie Eilish No 1 is the best. Everything you want in a vanilla perfume (spicy, complex and not juvenile, long lasting and reasonably priced).

Lovely array of choices, I have a few of them (Burberry Goddess, Note Vanille) and like the variety you have. I feel like Vanilla is such a broad note (lactonic, fruity, green, boozy) that it's soo very personal and the best note to have in a perfume with other notes supporting. For me, Guerlain is king of all vanillas but with that comes the hefty $$...please get your nose on Vanilla Planifolia and Spiriteuse Vanille. Need to get my nose on Orchidee Vanille!
My Vanille faves: Poets of Berlin (green bamboo vanilla-blueberry...does great in Spring), Bianco Latte (just perfect blend of lactones), Van Py Rhum from Lorenzo Pazzaglia (boozy dark vanilla...beast mode) and my luxe fave would be Celine Black Tie (powdery, drier vanilla...smooth and soft). Beautiful makeup, keep up the fab videos!
Does Poets of Berlin get sweeter with time? The bamboo is just so green to my nose. I got it because people were saying that it smells like a blueberry lemon cake, but that bamboo is strong.
@@lucibellasandverse I don't get the blueberry. To me its more bamboo fresh vanilla that fruity blueberry, this is a very green aromatic vanilla.

really enjoyed this video, the selection of vanilla perfumes is impressive! however, i have to say that i find some vanilla scents a bit overwhelming, especially when they’re too sweet. what do you guys think? do you prefer a more subtle vanilla or is the strong scent what you love?
Kayali Vanilla 28 takes a sophisticated pallete. The more you get exposed to smells and the more sophisticated your nose, the more you appreciate it's complexity

I’ve tried it multiple times in Sephora and can barely smell it, compared to every vanilla in the store it’s the weakest
@scentsual7752 I couldn't smell mine when I first bought it, and it didn't last. The juice was a very light beige color. No w that it has set for a few months it is a rich dark purple color and it smells fantastic. I think the testers in sephora get used up so fast that it never gets to that point.

Hey Ksenja! How much would you say you usually spray? I suppose it depends on the perfume. I usually do 3/4 (2 neck + 1 or both wrists) with the originals. I only tend to spray a bit more with my Zara dupes, but i have heard of people spraying like 16 times? 😳

My favorite vanilla right now is the Kumba vanilla bean oil, smells like baked goods and it lasts a while 😊 it’s $9 for the smaller size but a little goes a long way.

I have the same experience with vanilla 28. Absolutely hated it, I originally bought it about 2 years ago but I sprayed it about a month ago and absolutely loved it. The juice in mine is the same color so it’s definitely gotten better and the brown sugar is beautiful.

The best vanilla ever was the Original Body Shop Vanilla Oil from early 1990 or 1991 and it smelled like a vanilla cake, vanilla milkshake. Never has another scent of vanilla ever been the same. I did find one in recent years that is as close to that vanilla and the brand is Comptoir Sud Pacifique Paris-Vanille Extreme. They also make a Vanille Banane which is also amazing. I have ordered a few new scents from them but have yet to receive as Canada Post is on strike so I wait.
