The "calls coming from inside the house" tier was made FOR Kendall Jenner. She seems to think that if she was just normal she'd have the same amount of success, and even that her family's status holds her back. It's all so delusional.
This is super true. But, is she talented? I hate the whole clan, but your comment made me think WHY she became so famous? Is she that good an influencer?!? She’s more fake than Barbie (Kim) and yet she sells. I’m an outsider looking in and it frankly makes no sense.
Yeh she's average looking with no personality, skill, talent or artistry, if she wasn't born into her family she'd be working in a supermarket or cleaning offices, at best.
I have mixed feelings about nepotism babies. On one hand it's incredibly unfair that some people get handed incredible opportunities simply by being born into the right family, on the other if one or both of my parents we super rich and/or famous I would probably expect them to help.
And some of them are really talented and actually deserve recognition, but on the other hand it it really makes you think if they would be where they are if it wasn't because of their connections since how many talented models, actors, etc. just got lost in the hoard of people who are trying to make it or they just didn't get a chance to shine.
That's why I don't hate someone for being a nepo baby cause if I had the parents to propel me into the industry I want to be in, I'll take it in a heartbeat. The most important to me is that they are aware of their privilege, work as hard as someone who worked from the ground up, and that they have a kind/sweet personality.
@@yleilaf.a7967 Sadly I think it doesn’t matter if their heart is in the right place because no matter what, they’ll take up spaces from non nepotism kids. Like just their last name gives them privilege in an audition. Someone else could do just the same if not better but just having the last name Jolie would get you the role. I think it’s impossible to be a product of nepotism and work as hard/check your privilege(to an extent), at the same time. However, I don’t think it’s their fault but the fault of Hollywood and how it’s built. It’s unfortunate but hopefully in the future this won’t be the case :^( edit: I think the only thing they could do is just be extremely honest about it, and maybe turn down every other role they get (or just not audition as frequently as normal) ?? IDK it’s hard for sure !!
Yeah, and like... Even if you're a nepotism baby, you still gotta have lots talent/charisma/originality to stay relevant in the long run But that also makes me think about how many unknown people who are incredibly talented and unique will never make it because they aren't rich/don't have connections
@@temidawodu Because she has created her own identity. Lily Collins is not known as “the actress whose dad is Phil Collins” she has her own identity. Not a lot of nepotism babies are able to escape their parents name so i do think it is impressive.
@@movieglazer I don't see that as impressive. She's a pretty girl with... decent acting skills, which is what separates her from a few of the other nepotism celebrities (and, with that, the name of her parents), but she would have never landed a single role, had she not already had a leg up in the industry.
@@movieglazer you fail to consider that the reason she was able to get in the industry in the first place is her father. It doesnt really matter if she was able to step into the spotlight if the reason why she was able to is bc she is a nepo baby. She is good dont get me wrong, but it doesnt make her any less of a nepotism baby
Same goes for Jeff Bridges. It's so refreshing when people are just up front (with others, but more importantly with themselves) about how they benefited from their family connections.
The fact that Lily-rose Depp caused one of the biggest week-long nepotism discourse and urged models to speak up against her, but she skipped her here 😭😭
she is actually delusional. it’s frightening. like somebody needs to show her what it’s like with no famous and wealthy family or nepotism and connections…..she should work a minimum wage job for once in her life to see how the average person needs to crawl their way out of poverty….
@@mansi1955 all she does is deny. she really believes she would be in this position without having a famous, wealthy family and inheriting jobs and millions of dollars without lifting a finger
Paris Hilton also is a huge rep for breaking code silence and survived a ton of child abuse in her teens. as a fellow survivor of institutional abuse, i find her absolutely amazing and iconic
@@GeteMachine no shit her family is racist, she was raised by white billionaires. She hasn’t said anything racist since she was like 20. And she’s apologized.
@@GeteMachine Yeah that sucks but you have no idea what Paris has done for thousands (maybe even millions) of victims of child institutional abuse. Nobody knew about what happened to so many of us until Paris spoke up.
It's funny how people praise her for saying these things when it's her nepotism what allows her to. Someone without backup would be less likely to risk offending someone
Yeah, agree on Paris Hilton. Once you realize the dumb blonde thing is just a persona she uses, you realize what a marketing genius she is and how much she is out there hustling, even though she never had to. Respect.
Disney Channel made an Asian-American character spoof of her for The Suite Life series and I gotta say if I were her I'd be honored. What better proof is there of her incredibly iconic persona?
Meh, I guess. I don’t have many tender feelings towards her. She was the epitome of performative wealth in the George W. Bush era and like him, only looks good in comparison to what came after. She is beautiful and a good business woman, I’ll give her that, but shallow AF.
Miley Cyrus could make it into this list. I love her, but she's one hell of a nepotism baby! She has talked about being personal friends with a bunch of musicians and completely familiar with the Tennessean music scene since she was a literal baby thanks to Billy Ray being her father and Dolly Parton her godmother.
that's more luck then it is being given a career because she knew people. she knew people who saw talent in her. there's a difference between just giving someone an in to the entertainment industry and being connected enough to know people who can see your potential apart from your parentage
@@_CL just because nobody knows her dad doesn't mean she's not a nepotism baby. Like a lot of people on this list have someone they knew who could give them the job which we don't even know. Rich people have ties with people whose name we have never heard, but as soon as they see it, they know immediately how to make it work
If people are mad about the nepotism babies in Hollywood...just wait till they find out about all the nepotism going on in their own work places/local communities.
This is very true. I work at a large company with many locations and in the past year all the supervisors that were hired because their parents are directors or managers elsewhere. Some are actually cool but others can barely turn the lights on without help
@@spideyxalmighty695 Honestly, you're just doing what you need to do. The world ain't becoming a fair place any time soon, so it's okay to take advantage of your connections, as long as you recognize they're a facet of your success 🤷♀

@@xocutievxo Ughhhh yes. The nepotism in my workplace is just *chef’s kiss* I agree that others are really cool, but ugghhh majority of them is so incompetent 😒😒
You should definitely look into Drew Barrymore’s life story, it’s actually one of the most heartbreaking yet inspiring stories ever. She was an alcoholic at 9, she began smoking weed at 12, went into rehab several times before she turned 20, was taken to nightclubs as a child by her mother so she would party with adults doing adult things, was abused by both of her parents, was poor for a good chunk of her life, had a drug addict for a father who was actually kicked out by her mother during altercation that got violent and she was emancipated from her mother in her late teens. Idk if she belongs her because of this… yea she’s related to famous people but her life is worse than most. She’s done more than just an extensive acting career and a talk show, she also has a makeup/beauty brand and is a full on hippy(minus the weed). She fought to get to the place that she’s at now, she fought hard. She’s a badass and a legend in her own right. I will take a bullet for her, that’s how much love and respect that I have for her. She’s what I aspire to be. Drew Barrymore is a warrior and a champion.
Fun fact: we used her in school during our English lessons as an example for child stars and discussed the risks and everything looking at her biography. I went to school in Germany, read about her in my English book and then read about her current success years later. That's crazy to me.
I really hope this is sarcasm because if it is lol let’s see any other addict achieve her heights let alone stay alive without all the privilege she’s had
Nepos that needed to be included in part 2: Miley Cyrus, Keira gerber, liv tyler, nic cage, Elle. Fanning, the Meryl Streep daughter that randomly got a whole ass HBO show as her first acting credit.
@@TheEnthusiasticHobo I would say because of Dakota. Don’t think the family is famous but I believe her first movie role was playing the sister of Dakota.
I think it’s cause at first you’re so proud of them for being talented enough to seem “self made”. Then when you find out they’re rich and connected it’s very obvious they’re not truly as “talented” as you originally thought.
@@akiraholland457 I don't think anyone is denying there are talented and worthy nepo babies. It's just that we like to romanticize the path to fame and believe that people started at the bottom, so to speak. It makes famous people more relatable. When we find out someone had fewer obstacles to overcome, it _tends_ to change the way we think of their life trajectory. Suddenly, they're a bit less relatable.
The difference between nepotism baby and legacy baby is so clear. You can definitely tell which ones grew up appreciating the art form of their parents and building their own talent and which ones rode those coattails hardcore.
I agree, we wouldn't discredit a farmer, a baker, a woodworker because they learned everything from their parents 🤷♀️ but maybe the 20 year old who becomes co-owner of a car dealership because dad sold it to him 😅
Exactly. I think also there’s something to be said about pretending to be successful on your own merit vs. being aware that you are able to be famous in some part due to your relations. One of the examples that comes to my mind is maya hawke. She’s aware and fine with pointing out her nepotism from her parents while also being able to back up her parents. Whereas if you look at Ben platt (while talented) tried to hide the nepotism that gives him so many opportunities I don’t know if that makes sense or not
nobody is saying you shouldn’t, we are just saying these celebrities should ACKNOWLEDGE their nepotism and privilege instead of pretending like they made it from the trenches, which they absolutely did not.

Nepotism babies should have the class of Jane Fonda when she said, in an interview about how she got famous, that she became famous thanks to her dad, Henry Fonda. She said it so naturally. I love her.
That’s so interesting. I think back in the day it was favorable to be related to someone famous because people like the familiarity and seeing the children of their favorite movie stars or actors. Somewhere along the way it became a “bad” thing so celebs try to hide it.
@@bambiisbonkers I still kind of think that way. So yes I have no problems Saying Kaia Gerber is my favorite Nepo baby. Ohh and in general I don’t hate Nepo babies as long as they are good at what they are doing, the only entertainers who can make it without connections are content creators or influencers. Singers, actors and models all need at the beginning some good connections or people who support them to start. It’s just that way.
i never saw drew barrymore as a nepotism baby bc while she was born into an acting dynasty, her family life as a kid was really traumatic and it is more like she was successful in spite of her family rather than bc of them. she was emancipated at age 14 which was right in the middle of a very public struggle with addiction. she was lucky that there were a lot of people around her who were able to offer support and stability that she never really got from her family. i really admire her bc she struggled so much in her teens and early 20s that everyone was really worried that she wasn't going to make it, but she worked so hard to turn her life around and she has been sober forever, to the point where i don't think young people today even know how rough her childhood really was. she is really awesome. :)
Yeah, and then she clawed her way back up in the ranks of hollywood after getting her life back together with no help from her family. Everyone apparently laughed at her and/or shunned her during her addiction struggles.
and it"s not like she was voluntarily taking jobs from more deserving people with no connections. She was thrust into the industry at such a young age she never really got a say who knows what she would have done if she wasn't forced into it as a baby pratically

Jake Gyllenhaal is a great product of nepotism. He's such a fine actor, never disappointing on the screen. He's been excellent in so many movies, from Oscar winning Brokeback Mountain to Nightcrawler, Prisoners, Donnie Darko, love and other drugs, source code, Zodiac etc. He deserves all the love because he really has the passion to do it right and with perfection. Late to the party, but my personnal favorite is someone not well known internationally : Léa Seydoux (James Bond, Blue is the warmest color) and her infamous "School of life" line. The extent of Drew Barrymore's nepotism baby-ness is absurd. Her grandfather, John Barrymore? Originally didn't want to go into acting because everyone else in his family was. This was in the early 1900's. He's also related to the Drew family (where Drew gets her first name), who were important in American theater scene as actors and such since the 1860s
oh the barrymore acting lineage goes back a century but i would put drew above traditional nepotism considering she was thrust in at an early age and her family was literally the opposite of support for her and she was able to overcome her challenges in her young teens and became successful without her family’s support. drew is on a different level and i applaud her for all she’s come through, one of the few hollywood stars i can admire
I also am a HUGE Bella/Gigi stan but I’m not even ashamed to admit that I got into Gigi bc I found out she studied like criminology in college and I was going through my criminal minds phase
the sad truth is 80% of the industry had nepo links. like their parents are script supervisors or work on sets or some people have family friends who are also in the industry. it’s very difficult to break in if you no nobody.
Drew Barrymore is famous almost in spite of the nepotism. She was addicted to drugs and going to Hollywood parties while she was still a child. For how messed up her childhood was, it’s surprising that her life didn’t turn into just a string of rehab clinics
I agree that naming your kids after yourselves is really narsisticic, but it could've been a lot worst lol. Willow and Jayden are good names (Jayden is just peak gen-z name) and at least it not a Will Jr. or combined both parents names (for example, a couple named Alexander and Deirdra name their daughter Alexdra and their son Dierander)
My sister works at a hoity toity LA hotel and has met a lot of celebrity types. She’s told me that the nicest one she has met, by a long shot, was Drew Barrymore.
Not allll of them! Adam Driver is a good example, excellent actor, was in the Marines first and actually failed his first attempt at “making it” because he ran out of money 😂
Jake Gyllenhol may be a nepotism’s baby. But he is still a phenomenal actor. Hes been in absolutely fantastic movies and he deserves his roles in my opinion
Fun Fact: The Ethel Barrymore Theatre on Broadway is named after a relative of Drew Barrymore. Seriously, the Barrymore acting legacy is over a century old. It predates the birth of the film industry.
I would put the Hadids in "Fork in the kitchen". Their mom was a model. Gigi looks almost identical to her but with some subtle Arab mixed in, Bella looks a lot like her but slightly more like her dad than Gigi. And if you watched Yolanda on RHBH, she was clearly training them up to be models. They're 2 forks exactly where you thought they'd be 🤷🏼♀️ I also think Muade Apatow is a fantastic actress but I don't think she's done enough yet to transcend "Fork in kitchen". I'm mostly just rooting for her to do so. I can't see the Smith kids as anything but "Camp". They go well with Gwyneth.
Totally agree. And I can’t believe she put Jake Gyllenhaal in fork in the kitchen. Probably the one person who has transcended the nepotism. He should have been nominated a bunch of times for an Oscar. And won at least once.
Suggestions for part of this video: Zoe Kravitz, Miley Cyrus, Noah Cyrus, Lilly Collins, Scott Eastwood, All of the Skarsgards, Sofia Richie, Liv Tyler, Billie Lourd, Kaia Gerber. Also as an Indian, I WISH someone would do this for all the bollywood celebs too because that would make a hilarious video.
All of Clint Eastwood's offspring who have attempted acting are absolutely horrendous. Scott's older half-brother did in the 80's, and his half-sister Alison had a few high-profile parts in the 90's
Gwyneth is silly crazy but also my mom once worked with her because they had to present together and she didn't talk to my mom the entire time and bombed the presentation. So basically this is me trying to explain my beef with a woman I have never met and never plan to.
I used to work on a show whose set was directly next to Drew Barrymore's talk show and she actually was that nice, like literally as nice as she seems. my favorite nepo adult for sure
honestly sometimes the nepotism isn't the problem it's what you do with that support. Are you an actual good artist and understand your privelege or just ignorant
My friend you have it pointed out clearly. For me, it’s a matter of “does the person really deserve this” and “hey at least they’re honest about it and actually thankful for it and is trying very hard to prove that they can do something”
I think that if you're using your wealth for good and you're using it to contribute to the world in positive ways (like creating art, starting/continuing a business, donating to charity, etc.), whether you've earned it all by yourself or inherited it from your family, you're good in my book.
exactly. and also if they acknowledge it, multiple nepo babies “reject” nepotism and act like they came to the top without any help. which makes them come off as ignorant, especially when they’re not even that talented💀
Gwyneth Paltrow said ‘they have to work twice as anyone’ in an interview with Haley Bieber 🤡 like, no one of these people has any idea of (and not even try to) how hard/ nearly impossible would be to a normal person to get a Hollywood job
I'd probably like Paris Hilton a lot more if it weren't for the racism... People slammed her for the wrong stuff in the 2000s and look where we are now, people want to root for her
paris hilton is a nepotism baby done right, completely self aware while also not being. she just accepts what she is and goes w the flow, nd tbh i love that .
There’s something different about the nepotism babies from the 1990s and before vs the nepotism babies now. The ones before actually were humble and tried, the ones now are just… a disaster
Please do a part 2!!! Here are some more nepo baby suggestions: Timothee Chalamet, Rashida Jones, Jennifer Anniston, Zooey Deschanel, Daniel Radcliff, Nick Kroll, Armie Hammer, Margaret Qualley, Tracee Ellis Ross, Julia Roberts, Jane Fonda, Kristen Stewart, Laura Dern, Bryce Dallas Howard, Maya Rudolph, Nicole Richie, Billie Lourd, Maya Hawke.
How are none of you talking about Lena Dunham or Chet Hanks?! Steve Carell? The Coppolas/Nick Cage? Charlie Sheen. Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Olsen (via her sisters), Helena Bonham-Carter, Tilda Swinton, Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan?
just imagine all the immensely talented people we'll never get to see or hear from because they didn't know someone who knew someone. at least with social media I feel its easier to share your talents
I don’t think anyone mentioned them, but I love Dan Levy and Sarah Levy, truly nepo babies who aren’t super insane. Also Schitt’s Creek really was amazing for lgbtq content
yeah dan levy would definitely be in snap snap kirby. he won a golden globe for heavens sake! (for schitts creek, a masterpiece of a show), and his comedic timing is on point!
I think he only got his passion from his father who i only know from some comedy movies. He DID work his way up and Eugene Levy was certainly not a powerhouse, just a recognisable face.
you gotta make this an ongoing series because there are just too many nepotism babies to count: lily collins, jaime lee curtis, zoey deutch, maya hawke, miley cyrus, dan levy, allison williams (or whole cast of girls jfc), jack quaid, billie lourd, maggie gyllenhaal, zoe kravitz, tracee ellis ross, sam levinson, angelina jolie. the list goes on and there are just so many different flavors. not to mention, these are mostly referring to famous kids of famous people. when you add in celebrities whose parents worked in the industry but in more under the radar ways the list gets so much longer
This! I researched all the A and B list actors and was shocked to see that almost every one of them is family to a famous actor, director, producer, casting agent, etc. And the British actors are all connected or aristocracy. It’s downright depressing.
Billie Lourd (daughter of Carrie Fisher, granddaughter of Debbie Reynolds) would’ve been a good addition too, for no particular reason I just love her SO MUCH
idk. maggie's definitely not as much of an a-list actress as jake. i would say she's more a b-list on her own, she's only as relevant as she is because of him. and maybe a little taylor swift
@@molls127 maggie won a director's guild for her first feature film along with an Oscar nomination for best writing for The Lost Daughter. I think she is fast on catching up with Jake. :)
To clarify she didn't write the work- she adapted an already existing story by an actual writer. Just like Sofia Coppola didn’t write Virgin Suicides but with dad’s money you can plop on that “written and directed by” credit like it wasn’t already a best seller.
Talented? Wtf kind of talents do they have? Jayden did one movie, which sucked and was all because of his dad. And willow did one song, which sucked, and was all because of her dad 😆 LMFAO out of all of the nepo babies I would say that are the absolute worst and have no talent whatsoever.
Hollywood runs on dumb luck and nepotism: Liza Minnelli, Jane Fonda, Laura Dern, Angelina Jolie, Bryce Dallas Howard, Mariska Hargitay, Zoey Deutch, Jack Quaid, Ben Stiller, Louisa Jacobson and the Gummer Sisters, Margaret Qualley, John David Washington, Tracee Ellis Ross, Sofia Richie, The Skarsgård Brothers, Rashida Jones, Allison Williams, Kiefer Sutherland, Riley Keough, Rumor Willis, Jennifer Aniston, Maya Rudolph, Chris Pine, Colin Hanks, Stella McCartney, Isabella Rossellini, Anjelica Huston, Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen, Rob Reiner, Jason Reitman, Natasha and Joely Richardson
i just have an absurd amount of love for dakota johnson. she doesn't do much, but whatever she does, it's just funny. the way she talks about certain things, like she knows it sounds stupid, but just goes "anyways". dakota, my favorite nepotism baby ever.
9:30 I have a lot of respect for Paris Hilton for openly sharing her story of being traumatized in the troubled teen industry and campaigning for the regulation and closing of the abusive programs that make money off of kids. As a tti survivor myself, it's felt so validating to have someone so famous speak up for an issue that directly affects me and is usually ignored. Within the past year there has been so much more awareness about the troubled teen industry, and that is at least partially due to her.
I feel like Emma Roberts gets some extra slack because her dad is such a bitter wreck of a person. For her to have turned out as successful and level headed as she has, with HIM contaminating her life, is nothing short of a miracle... I was honestly expecting a Drew Barrymore style party phase to kick in by the time she hit her tweens.
@@bambiisbonkers really? He's an actor, too. With an anger problem, an ego problem, and (off and on) a drinking problem. I've never looked him up to see what information is available, but I remember him regularly throwing tantrums (both on and off set), and he couldn't keep a girlfriend because he was such an arrogant dbag, plus whenever he was asked how proud he was about his sister's and/or daughter's careers, he would get this hostile look on his face that was borderline scary
when you were explaining hailey baldwin and said "she's the daughter of stephen baldwin and the niece of alec baldwin" i didn't understand at first and was like "nepotism baby? you mean INCEST BABY???" but now i get it 😭 SHE'S the niece of alec baldwin, not her mom lmfao
i also found out her other uncle played serena's dad in gossip girl AND is married to the lead singer of wilson phillips (who is also yet another nepo baby hah)
Troian Bellisario who played Spencer in Pretty Little Liars is a nepotism baby. Her dad, Donald P. Bellisario, is a famous producer and screenwriter. She had her first tv role at age 4 on Quantum Leap, a show her dad created.
My mom and I love to keep track of how many nepotism babies actually make up Hollywood, it’s shocking how saturated modern Hollywood is with nepotism babies. They’re everywhere, our most recent surprising find was Alexa Demi, but I’d put her at the top tier because she doesn’t let it define her.
i would have put Paris in snapsnap. she’s been doing some real advocacy work in D.C. for the foster system and abusive boarding schools. she’s using that metaverse clout for action
as someone who is in the trenches for bella hadid sometimes, i am SO HERE for other people recognizing that her and gigi actually seem really cool as people. their mom has always seemed to have some narcissistic tendencies, and i can root for almost anyone whose been able to break a toxic family cycle; especially them. i mean for christ sake bella’s mom bullied her into cosmetic surgery at 14!! she deserves to have her own success apart from her (imo terrible) mother
I think Gigi could definitely give the world way more so I’d put her at cmon queen you got this but Bella definitely belongs at the top she works her ass off. I do respect them both immensely bc their mother seems awful and they both work so hard and are generally aware of their privilege and humble about it
I love seeing more of the Hadid sisters on my socials than the [redacted] who hardly worked their way up to the modelling and cosmetics industry. Gigi and Bella are amazing models
Yeah Gigi & Bella seem like genuinely decent people, and they have always seemed like they're aware of their nepo privilege and work really hard anyways. And omg Bella's recent Vogue interview was just ... honestly kinda heartbreaking
My girl Dakota may be a nepo baby, but she doesn't give that energy at all. She is is actually really independent from her parents. She paved her way and stayed relevant herself
So she’s good at hiding it or covering it up? She reminds me of Kendall Jenner, very “I’m my own person” but I’ll take the lead in 50 shades of grey with no real prior acting experience. Can’t stand her.
gwyneth paltrow honestly had some dangerous products sold on Goop and other crazy shit antics I recommend for anyone who wants about it watch iilluminnaughtii ‘a video on it!
That's not true. The woman had been using apitherapy (bee sting acupuncture) every month for 2 years and sadly had a bad reaction, went into a coma and died. In an unrelated interview, Gwyneth Paltrow mentioned that she had experienced it before and it was painful, it was also mentioned on Goop, but not advertised or promoted (like it was in Vogue). Let's mock GP/Goop for the stupid expensive yoni eggs, vag candles and pseudoscience but not spread lies.
I'm absolutely in love with you after "being a punching bag for SG's fan" and "Mothering JB" peak humour, loving it. I love Hailey but you really solidified her life with humour
Heres some males who benefited from nepotism just to balance it out. Joaquin Phoenix, Tom Holland, Ben Stiller, George Clooney, Charlie sheen, colin Hanks, Michael Douglas, Casey Affleck, Jake Gyllenhaal, Nicolas cage, etc Edit: Josh Brolin, Jeff bridges, Jaden Smith, Chris pine.
Top tier nepotism baby is Anderson Cooper. Very open about his nepotism, and just seems like a standup guy. He's had snow white hair since he first got thrown into an active warzone as a journalist in his 20s, and he's still continuing that same work today. He was just out in Ukraine. Plus, still has a lovely sense of humor. Billie Eilish... She seems to have a good head on her shoulders, but I don't think she's doing anything astounding.... and I don't think I've ever heard her talk about the extremely privileged background she came from and how that's the reason she has a career (but I'm not a mega stan so I could def be wrong)... Either way, I'm rooting for her.
Billie Eilish isn't a nepotism baby. Her parents weren't big Hollywood actors, they were small time actors that struggled financially (which is why they didn't have enough room in the house for all of them). Many people in LA are actors, but that doesn't make them rich and famous, y'know. They're just regular people with a passion for it.
Her parents talked about this on a radio interview. They were small actors and worked several other jobs. They could afford to own a two bedroom home in LA and piano and dance lessons and horseback-riding lessons and whatnot but that's it.

The "calls coming from inside the house" tier was made FOR Kendall Jenner. She seems to think that if she was just normal she'd have the same amount of success, and even that her family's status holds her back. It's all so delusional.
Ye she should be grateful
EXACTLY !!
She's the epitome of "Born on third base and thinks (she) hit a triple".
Yeah it’s true. It’s definitely difficult to have a view point on this
That's why I don't hate someone for being a nepo baby cause if I had the parents to propel me into the industry I want to be in, I'll take it in a heartbeat.
It’s unfortunate but hopefully in the future this won’t be the case :^(
edit: I think the only thing they could do is just be extremely honest about it, and maybe turn down every other role they get (or just not audition as frequently as normal) ?? IDK it’s hard for sure !!
Yeah, and like... Even if you're a nepotism baby, you still gotta have lots talent/charisma/originality to stay relevant in the long run
But that also makes me think about how many unknown people who are incredibly talented and unique will never make it because they aren't rich/don't have connections
The way Lily just popped up in the “fork spotted in the kitchen” category without an explanation
Yep thought the same!
It's what she deserves...
The fact that I didn’t even notice really says something about that tier.
I came here to say that...Il
I mean, there's no need to get into detail, lol.
Lily Collins is a nepotism baby, and I give her props for being at a level where people are surprised to hear Phil Collins is her dad.
Why does this deserve props? I genuinely don't understand why that's impressive.
@@temidawodu Because she has created her own identity. Lily Collins is not known as “the actress whose dad is Phil Collins” she has her own identity. Not a lot of nepotism babies are able to escape their parents name so i do think it is impressive.
@@movieglazer Agree. I, still to this day, is surprised that she is related to Phil Collins.
Jaime Lee Curtis is a nepotism baby, but she’s also massively talented and very honest about her nepotism.
Same goes for Jeff Bridges. It's so refreshing when people are just up front (with others, but more importantly with themselves) about how they benefited from their family connections.
That’s the same way with Carrie Fisher
I had no idea about any of these people being nepotism babies, that’s wild 😳
@Madeleine Hicks and Peter Fonda
the Goldwyn and Mankiewicz families have produced perhaps the most nepotism babies in Hollywood history
The fact that Lily-rose Depp caused one of the biggest week-long nepotism discourse and urged models to speak up against her, but she skipped her here 😭😭
The fact that Kendall denies being a nepotism baby is literally hilarious to me
she is actually delusional. it’s frightening. like somebody needs to show her what it’s like with no famous and wealthy family or nepotism and connections…..she should work a minimum wage job for once in her life to see how the average person needs to crawl their way out of poverty….

I’m not gonna lie I didn’t know a few of these and now I’m sad 😭
Not for me. Some are talented and worth the fame

Nepotism babies should have the class of Jane Fonda when she said, in an interview about how she got famous, that she became famous thanks to her dad, Henry Fonda. She said it so naturally. I love her.
I'm a big fan of Henry Fonda
That’s so interesting. I think back in the day it was favorable to be related to someone famous because people like the familiarity and seeing the children of their favorite movie stars or actors. Somewhere along the way it became a “bad” thing so celebs try to hide it.
@@bambiisbonkers I still kind of think that way. I love Kaia Gerber partly because Cindy is one of my all time favorite models and partly love her because she is a great model in her own way she is gorgeous and pretty good at posing for photos and she is very good in the catwalk.
@@haileyt857 yeah exactly!!!
Same here. I always forget oh yeah her family were pretty known.
and it"s not like she was voluntarily taking jobs from more deserving people with no connections.

It sure has been easier for him to get the roles but he has proved his worth. Top tier for sure!!

It's funny how Kendall acts like simply being on her family's reality show is what "slowed down" her modeling career, not the fact Kim tried to help her by hiring a runway coach for her and she completely wasted the teacher's time and mocked the lessons.
she just living up to her 'not like any other girl' trait 💀
Late to the party, but my personnal favorite is someone not well known internationally : Léa Seydoux (James Bond, Blue is the warmest color) and her infamous "School of life" line. She had the audacity to say in an interview that she learnt to act all alone, without education or proper training, while being the granddaughter of the president of one of the biggest french production company (Pathé), the great niece to the president of another huge production company (Gaumont) and the heir to the 69th wealthiest family in France at the time!
Definitely "the calls coming from inside the house" tier.
It’s honestly sad that Naomi Campbell who worked, climbed, and earned her way to the top of the modeling industry with only fierceness and Jesus considering the fact that she’s a black woman is getting compared to the girl who walks like she’s going to her math class.

OMG HI!
holy shit drew barrymore's whole family line is full of actors, ranging from stage to silent films, its incredible
Truly! It blew my mind how far I could keep clicking on each person's parent and have it say "American actor/actress" as their profession
oh the barrymore acting lineage goes back a century but i would put drew above traditional nepotism considering she was thrust in at an early age and her family was literally the opposite of support for her and she was able to overcome her challenges in her young teens and became successful without her family’s support. drew is on a different level and i applaud her for all she’s come through, one of the few hollywood stars i can admire
Drew is beyond nepotism. She's like old money, but instead of big houses it's the silver screen that she inherited.
At that point is it nepotism or simply a family acting dynasty lmao

the fact she's awared and went to rehab herself probably help her more in life more than ever.

honestly sometimes the nepotism isn't the problem it's what you do with that support. Are you an actual good artist and understand your privelege or just ignorant
It's basically "power doesn't always corrupt, but it always reveals"
My friend you have it pointed out clearly. For me, it’s a matter of “does the person really deserve this” and “hey at least they’re honest about it and actually thankful for it and is trying very hard to prove that they can do something”
I think that if you're using your wealth for good and you're using it to contribute to the world in positive ways (like creating art, starting/continuing a business, donating to charity, etc.), whether you've earned it all by yourself or inherited it from your family, you're good in my book.

i love that lily-rose just appeared and was never mentioned lmao
😭😭 its just cause i didnt really have much to say like shes textbook fork spotted in the kitchen so i opted to just cut it LOL
probably cuz she & her family are going thru IT rn ^^
@@caseyaonso4270 that's what i figured haha
Exactly I had to go back and was like “when did she talk about her?”
IK I had to go back and be like when did she add Lilly.
Dakota johnson is also a level 3 nepo baby because her grandmother is Tippi Hendren, who starred in Alfred Hitchcock’s “the Birds”
you gotta make this an ongoing series because there are just too many nepotism babies to count: lily collins, jaime lee curtis, zoey deutch, maya hawke, miley cyrus, dan levy, allison williams (or whole cast of girls jfc), jack quaid, billie lourd, maggie gyllenhaal, zoe kravitz, tracee ellis ross, sam levinson, angelina jolie.
the list goes on and there are just so many different flavors. not to mention, these are mostly referring to famous kids of famous people. when you add in celebrities whose parents worked in the industry but in more under the radar ways the list gets so much longer
i love dan levy so much. he's my fav nepo baby. and he's so talented as well.
don 't forget nick cage! also liza minnelli. bc i only recently found out that she's judy garlands daughter and i dont know how i missed that.
This! I researched all the A and B list actors and was shocked to see that almost every one of them is family to a famous actor, director, producer, casting agent, etc.
And the British actors are all connected or aristocracy. It’s downright depressing.
Was genuinely surprised she did Jake Gyllenhal but not Maggie - even more so bc she did other famous siblings
Carrie fisher
Billie Lourd (daughter of Carrie Fisher, granddaughter of Debbie Reynolds) would’ve been a good addition too, for no particular reason I just love her SO MUCH
PART 2 OF THIS I AM BEGGING.
More nepotism:
- Billie Eilish
- Ben Platt
- Miley Cyrus
- Lily Collins
Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal should've gotten one square like the Smith siblings.
idk. maggie's definitely not as much of an a-list actress as jake. i would say she's more a b-list on her own, she's only as relevant as she is because of him. and maybe a little taylor swift
I like to think that some nepotism babies will watch this video and root for themselves lol
LOOOOL
Jaden and Willow are definitely amongst the most talented nepotism babies, and honestly, I love that for them.
Talented? Wtf kind of talents do they have?
Jayden did one movie, which sucked and was all because of his dad. And willow did one song, which sucked, and was all because of her dad 😆
LMFAO out of all of the nepo babies I would say that are the absolute worst and have no talent whatsoever.
Dakota Johnson cinematic universe took me tf out lmao. But honestly, she's awesome lol. Can't forget the iconic "I LOVE limes"
Hollywood runs on dumb luck and nepotism:
Liza Minnelli, Jane Fonda, Laura Dern, Angelina Jolie, Bryce Dallas Howard, Mariska Hargitay, Zoey Deutch, Jack Quaid, Ben Stiller, Louisa Jacobson and the Gummer Sisters, Margaret Qualley, John David Washington, Tracee Ellis Ross, Sofia Richie, The Skarsgård Brothers, Rashida Jones, Allison Williams, Kiefer Sutherland, Riley Keough, Rumor Willis, Jennifer Aniston, Maya Rudolph, Chris Pine, Colin Hanks, Stella McCartney, Isabella Rossellini, Anjelica Huston, Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen, Rob Reiner, Jason Reitman, Natasha and Joely Richardson
Leonardo is one talented guy
Many actors in Hollywood r truly talented
"I want a Dakota johnson cinematic universe" you have GOT to be more careful what you wish for
I was just thinking the same thing 🤣
i just have an absurd amount of love for dakota johnson. she doesn't do much, but whatever she does, it's just funny. the way she talks about certain things, like she knows it sounds stupid, but just goes "anyways".
dakota, my favorite nepotism baby ever.
Same so much love for her.
Doesn’t do much except have a trail of defending abusers. That was the cut off point for me.
i’m definitely biased but i think lily-rose depp needs to be up there with dakota. i love her silly little hat she wore on her 18th birthday.
she’s so unproblematic and reserved
9:30 I have a lot of respect for Paris Hilton for openly sharing her story of being traumatized in the troubled teen industry and campaigning for the regulation and closing of the abusive programs that make money off of kids. As a tti survivor myself, it's felt so validating to have someone so famous speak up for an issue that directly affects me and is usually ignored. Within the past year there has been so much more awareness about the troubled teen industry, and that is at least partially due to her.
This was thoroughly enjoyable, I also have a parasocial relationship with drew Barrymore.
i think if we asked nicely she’d adopt us
I feel like Emma Roberts gets some extra slack because her dad is such a bitter wreck of a person. For her to have turned out as successful and level headed as she has, with HIM contaminating her life, is nothing short of a miracle... I was honestly expecting a Drew Barrymore style party phase to kick in by the time she hit her tweens.
Well, she bit Evan so….
@@missnesi4525 And broke his nose.
Yeah wasn't she really abusive towards Evan Peters when thery were dating?
I can’t find much info on her dad, could you elaborate? I would love to learn more about her family

God I can’t stand her or her character. 🤮
i would have put Paris in snapsnap. she’s been doing some real advocacy work in D.C. for the foster system and abusive boarding schools. she’s using that metaverse clout for action
as someone who is in the trenches for bella hadid sometimes, i am SO HERE for other people recognizing that her and gigi actually seem really cool as people. their mom has always seemed to have some narcissistic tendencies, and i can root for almost anyone whose been able to break a toxic family cycle; especially them. i mean for christ sake bella’s mom bullied her into cosmetic surgery at 14!! she deserves to have her own success apart from her (imo terrible) mother
Fully agree
& Bella might be closeted bi, outed by The Weeknd
My girl Dakota may be a nepo baby, but she doesn't give that energy at all. She is is actually really independent from her parents. She paved her way and stayed relevant herself
I have seen some interviews with her and cannot agree with you at all.
So she’s good at hiding it or covering it up? She reminds me of Kendall Jenner, very “I’m my own person” but I’ll take the lead in 50 shades of grey with no real prior acting experience. Can’t stand her.
She is the greatest
@@Shrimpyyyyyyyy what
She seems down to earth (or at least more than Kendall Jenner…)
To be honest I think that Olivia Jades parents are the ones who should really be held responsible considering that she was not even 18 at the time
Leni Klum, Iris Law, Rafferty Law, Lila Moss, Kaia Gerber, Billie Lourd, Maia Hawke, Zoe Kravitz, Sophia Coppola, Angelina Jolie, Keira Knightley, Paris Jackson, Frances Cobain, Earl Cave, Margaret Qualley
about gwyneth paltrow, she and goop are actually responsible for a woman's death... soooo i would probably rate her lower
Omg my first time hearing this….
gwyneth paltrow honestly had some dangerous products sold on Goop and other crazy shit antics I recommend for anyone who wants about it watch iilluminnaughtii ‘a video on it!
Let's mock GP/Goop for the stupid expensive yoni eggs, vag candles and pseudoscience but not spread lies.
didn't she also starve her kids?
I watched a video by @Salem tovar about wellness culture and her and I personally don't like her after watching that so I see where you coming from
I'm absolutely in love with you after "being a punching bag for SG's fan" and "Mothering JB" peak humour, loving it. I love Hailey but you really solidified her life with humour
Heres some males who benefited from nepotism just to balance it out. Joaquin Phoenix, Tom Holland, Ben Stiller, George Clooney, Charlie sheen, colin Hanks, Michael Douglas, Casey Affleck, Jake Gyllenhaal, Nicolas cage, etc
Edit: Josh Brolin, Jeff bridges, Jaden Smith, Chris pine.
Nic Cage is the ultimate anti-nepotism baby
Changing your name to get away from the nepotism is a ballsy move.
charlie sheen fucked it up tho
George Clooney????
@@inesmaroua5419 yes his mother or grandmother is rosemary Clooney, who was famous. I think his father was too.
Zoe Kravitz is stunning but her acting leaves something to be desired.
Didn’t she also make moves on Jaden Smith when he was like 15?
She said really creepy things about a minor
@@katkay9923 yeah she's a lil stranfe
finally someone said it
Okay, but is she a Nero baby?
Nepo babies publicly crying screaming throwing up over being called nepo babies is the best Christmas present I could've ever wished for
Top tier nepotism baby is Anderson Cooper.
Doesn't Billie deny it? I remember seeing a video where she does a tour of their house that she still lives in trying to show how normal it was
@@ambrite she doesn’t deny it, just doesn’t talk about it at least from what i’ve seen as a fan of her.
@@ambrite to be fair she's intensely private about all aspects of her personal life so it might just extend to her family as well
Billie Eilish isn't a nepotism baby.
I'm sorry but Emma Roberts has also given us gems like physical abuse and disorderly conduct in public 🙄🙄
And she never got any shit for it, I’m pissed off
