I started leatherwork when the pandemic hit and I was in complete isolation, I was living alone and did not leave the house for seven weeks. Leatherwork kept me sane and your humor kept me going. Thank you

I like the way that the extra insert with the gusset for the front piece looks like piping, but without the complexity of doing actual piping!

Hope this comment helps you feel warm and fuzzy. I love your style and clear instructions. The simple style of your leathercraft is fantastic and make me want to try and make many things. It helps to drive away the lockdown blues and inspire creativity. Obviously I'd love to own one of your bags, but the patters you provide for free are a fine reward too. The option to buy the hardware is a bonus for those who don't have a dragon's hoard of crafting stuff waiting for a rainy day, or plague, or someone to inspire them. Thanks :) look forward to seeing your next project.

Yes, it IS a huge help when you put hardware packets together that we can get as a kit. Saves whole YEARS of my life, not having to make a whole project just out of trying to find pieces that will work, and will work together! ...and quite reasonably priced, too. That's always nice. :)

Tony, I made a purse for my wife three years ago from one of your patterns. It turned out great and my wife loved it. In fact she is still using it which although much appriciated by me, I'm a little surprised as you can appriciate as most wives out grow their purses often. So I thought I'd make her a new purse this Christmas once again. So I searched Etsy for "leather purse patterns" and found several likely prospects. I ordered a couple of patterns. However then I decided to once again peruse your shop to see what might work. Well I saw this pattern and it was just the thing. My wife's wish for her current purse was for more pockets. Hence this fits the bill perfectly. I'll make one in her preferred color, purple and black, or all purple with black thread. With all this said, it would be awesome to get something made by the "master" of steampunk and other unique patterns of quality leather products. Although this video is two months old, I wasn't sure if you had found a winner for your bag. Thanks for another superb leather pattern. Season's Greetings!

My stuff never turns out quite as good as Tony's (of course, I never expect it to...I'm still learning and I have mad respect for Tony's experience and mastery of the craft from design to final execution) but it's so much fun to make things with my hands.
