That makes so much more sense!! I will try this today! Thank you so very much! I appreciate the hard work you put in to help other people with their horses, it’s so amazing to see a good horsemen helping others!
It’s my pleasure, have fun with it! Sometimes it’s easier to see the exercise than try to just picture it in your head. 😂 I’m going to try this more often, making a short clip at the end of videos answering someone’s question.
@@_thenaturalhorseman it worked PERFECT! I got emotional haha he finally trotted a beautiful circle and I was so happy! It really helped me communicate with him more clear!
Ahhh now I understand what you were saying! Thanks so much for doing the quick clip to explain it. I’m impressed that you pronounced my last name correctly too haha! I appreciate very much all the teachings you send and will now work on the creating pocket and arc. I do already head down with all my horses anytime I’m with them so I will add the pocket exercise . That filly is very sweet and lucky to have you working with her. Thanks again. 😊
It’s my pleasure, thanks for your continued support and for using what I’m teaching. My favorite part about sharing is hearing other peoples success stories!
So, your 2 year old filly hasn’t done this before but picked it up quickly. How many tries/practices if they don’t catch on? Once they do it, quit for that day/session and revisit it for improvement during next session? Or practice it for improvement. I guess what I am asking is this was a short video but how long a session if you weren’t doing the video? Do sessions vary by age of horse. (My filly is 3 but hasn’t had this method of ground work done with her. ) I’m trying for consistent daily lessons about 20 minutes (even though it’s fun for me and I love seeing the progress and want to go longer)? They will get longer as I build with each of your video lessons? Don’t want to sour her I guess?
