    Why does it seem to be creating key frames while I make the changes? I'll create something that sounds good, but then when I play it back I watch the setting change in real time as it gets to where I made the changes, and then it will slip back to the defaults soon after.

      Sounds like your settings are auditioning for a role in a drama and always changing their mind at the last moment! Let’s hope they find some stability soon!

    Hey Mike! I love what you do. I had a question that's off topic. How do you get your UA-cam playlists to appear above your video titles? I've been wanting to do this for a long time but I can't find any answers online 😅😅

      Those are items from the store that are listed there. You can set endcards to display playlists or other actions at the end of the video however

    could you also use multiband compressor for the leveling?

      Yes, using a multiband compressor can be beneficial when leveling your audio in Adobe Premiere Pro.

    Great helpful video. I have a question for you or anyone who can answer that. In the new Premiere, the AI audio enhance works well. The problem I have is that the first 5-8 seconds of the voice start low and then goes up to the actual level. I have no idea what impacts this dip down effect. I have music in the background with lower volume. Let me know if you need some more clarification to solve this issue. Thank you! 🙏🏻

    • @MikeRussell
      @MikeRussell  2 місяці тому +1

      That's a great question, and I'd love to help you troubleshoot the issue - can you try adjusting the music volume or ducking the music at the beginning of the clip to see if that resolves the dip in audio level?

    • @javadahmadi
      @javadahmadi 2 місяці тому

      @@MikeRussell thanks Mike. The music volume is already low. I think this is an Adobe issue.

    Mike, can i ask - is there a way to save this group of audio effects (and those specific settings) and apply them to another video you make later?

    • @MikeRussell
      @MikeRussell  4 місяці тому +1

      Yes, you can save your audio effects as a preset in Adobe Premiere Pro and easily apply them to future videos by selecting the preset from the effects panel.

    Quick question, though: Should we "re-enhance" our audio in Adobe Premiere while (mostly) we already have our audio enhanced and tweaked previously in Adobe Audition? Thanks in advance.

    • @bubanga

      From a workflow point of view it would make most sense to "perfect" the audio in Audition if you're already processing it there

    How do I make mass changes to multiple audio clips though? I feel like this video is missing key solutions.

    • @MikeRussell
      @MikeRussell  Рік тому

      In Adobe Premiere Pro, you can make mass changes to multiple audio clips by grouping them together and applying effects or adjustments to the entire group simultaneously, eliminating the need to edit each clip individually.

    • @MikeRussell
      @MikeRussell  3 місяці тому

      To dial in the effects in Adobe Premiere Pro, simply adjust the settings of each effect (such as EQ, compression, and reverb) with careful attention to your audio levels and frequencies until you achieve the desired enhancement for a polished sound.

    Hi Mike. Do you prefer to do all vocal audio tweaks in Audition and import the sound file into Premiere or just do the audio tweaks direct in Premiere? Or does it not really make that much difference?

    • @MikeRussell
      @MikeRussell  Рік тому

      You can easily exchange audio between Audition and Premiere Pro

  • @bubanga
    @bubanga Рік тому

    Thank you Mike! May I ask for a new subject? Sound fx for simple explainers. I mean just like whooshes, swooshes, in and outs, etc. Workflow for building sfx - AE to Premiere to Audition?, basic settings for each sound effect, how to mix them. Just saying but I would love it. It'll be a great content for me.
    Simply I'm building inside AE to make it synchronized wit animation, then going to Premiere for edit and final cut. From Premiere I can go Audition for vo and sfx but all sound effects are in one channel for sure. Actually I'm not sure the correct way.
    Sorry for the not too related long post but UA-cam loves posts, right? Anyways, cheers!

    • @MikeRussell
      @MikeRussell  Рік тому +1

      Are you embedding the After Effect sequence in Premiere Pro? In which case the audio from AE will come through to Premiere Pro as a single track.
      I'd suggest not putting the sound effects in until at least Premiere Pro where you can then have them on a separate track and mix them in properly either in PP or Audition.

    • @bubanga
      @bubanga Рік тому

      @@MikeRussell Yeah, I was doing that. Frankly in the last project I just render Voice over and Sfx channels and put them in PP as two channels. Even I didn't embedded project because in the end, it was coming as a single track like rendered audio. No need to spent Cpu and ram.
      Actually I was doing it AE because I can put the voice as it should be with the help of keyframes. I should admit that it is very useful for perfect timing working with AE for sfx. It would be great if there is a plugin, importing all layers with timing Premiere Pro or Audition from AE. I should check this, may be there could be.
      For the next project I'll start to build sound effects in PP. It is easy to edit in Audition. But also it would be great as I mentioned before, sound effect workflow and general tips for adjusting them for the explainer style animation. I didn't count but I should use around 30 different sounds. With the keyframe synchronization advantage AE ahead of them if you don't count channel issue.
      Ps: Actually I realized that I can divide sound effects for groups and render them as individually in AE. too much work but better than single channel, right? No, no it should be done as it should be, like professional. Sorry for the long message. Thanks for the answer Mike!
