This was my very first album I bought at the age of 13. And those songs on this record still have something unspeakable mystifying things that guided me all my life and every time I hear them again I am still remembering a great past and some hope for the future.

Oooh, what an unbelievable song. A hymn for all people which adore the good old times with Ken and Uriah Heep. It was my youth.
Valiant effort, and better than todays UH... but that 1973 live version is one of my favorite songs ever

What a song. It remembers me for my youth. It Was an Amazon time filled with much Emotion and the the "Uriah Heep live" Album. All the Bands and good Musical- overwelming!
Demons and Wizards is certainly one of my favorites albums of all times; this song, as well as Rainbow Demon, Traveller In Time and Easy Living, for example, make me feel a kind of trance every time I listen to them!

Came in contact with Uriah Heep in the early 1980ies. Bought all of their albums in the mid to late 1990ies. Bought the big BIO from a german dude in those days. This band was and is just .... great. This song has always been one of my favourites from the "Demons...." Album. Seeing this here and hearing the massive Hammond is great. Sadly i didn't hear anything about this gig in Hamburg. Would have been there. The parents of my ex-girlfriend told me that they saw Heep in the very early 70ies in our town, GIFHORN in Lower Saxony here in germany. Wouldn't believe it. Then her dad went to the cellar and returned with Demons and Wizard and Salisbury on LP. They told me about the crowd. All were sitting on the floor. I like those stories very much. History!

John Farnham would have been a great choice to sing Byron's Heep catalogue. How come no one ever plays the piano part on the guitar solo fade like off the studio version? The piano is what really puts the song over the top as it ends. Oh well.
