      It's pretty smart isn't it? we already know sienna and the dance, so we'd be unlikely to click on a vid with her bc we know all about what went down. But place a different person on the front and allude to sienna, people get a strange nostalgia feeling with the name, but not make the connection with the visual. So, it makes you click on the video, but by the time you learn it is on the dance apology girl, then sunk cost fallacy, not caring to change it, or just pure laziness kick in and you end up watching the video.

    I absolutely cannot stand the stigma around victims of SA or any kind of abuse where if they don't say anything or press charges, obviously that means nothing happened. It's a stupid conclusion and needs to end...

    Cody Ko making the decision to completely ignore the allegations and never even responding is probably the smartest choice because it seems like every time a youtuber makes an apology it completely kills their career.

    Ellen apologised for what was happening behind the scenes on The Ellen Show. She is just a stalker. Unfortunately I have a stalker. Who will not leave me alone or get the message that what we had is over. The person has caused me to fall in a deep depression. I am not scared of the person but, it wears you down mentally.

    She could have made an apology stating that she's so young and this is her first love, right away. Show remorse from the start and this would have been forgotten before it became so big of a story. It wouldn't be appropriate for her to get away with = but I think the internet would have given a young, remorseful girl a break - without the dance. And trying to bully the situation with CSI experts and lawyers on a podcast is not a good look Cheers!!

    Everything else aside, the whole merch with the "did you eat today" thing on it was VERY clearly not meant in some kind of fun poking or malicious way, and the fact that modern society has got to that point where people are fucking offended by things they could see aren't meant to be offensive if they just used their single fucking brain cell for literally 2 seconds is absolutely infuriating. Intention is the only thing that matters, if people choose to get offended by something you didn't mean to be offensive, that's their own problem not yours and you absolutely should not change what you're doing just because of their misunderstandings. Fuck modern snowflakes, grow a spine, use your braincells.

    • @lacey892
      @lacey892 5 місяців тому +2

      they say the road to hell is paved w good intentions. your intentions actually **don't** matter if you're harming people. Impact will always be more important than intent.
      just a silly example, but if you bump into someone or knock them over on accident, you still apologize and help them up or make sure they're ok even though you didn't intend to harm them. saying 'oh that's your own problem, not mine' is something a child would do.

    • @Sundablakr
      @Sundablakr 5 місяців тому +5

      @@lacey892 Sure, but you're not going to apologise and stop walking near people just because you might bump into one. You can be a nice person about it and help them up but it doesn't mean you need to stop what you're doing. The person you knocked over can just use their brain for a second and understand that it wasn't done maliciously and is not intended to be malicious. In the example this video gives there was absolutely no need to stop selling the merch, that slogan is always used in a positive manner that any English speaker would immediately understand, so catering to people that get offended by something that is CLEARLY not offensive is not the move. Otherwise we are going to transition to a world where we have to triple check literally every word we publish for every possible niche offense to a population that has become so sheltered they are offended by literally everything. It needs to stop.

    Yea this situation is just strange. This jack guy sounds like a clout chaser. If he didnt like her then he needed to stop collaborating with her and cut her out of his life and move on. It seems he led her on. Sienna sounds like an idiot and should have cut him out. A guy that doesnt fight for ur relationship or proudly claim it, is just playing games and should be avoided. What she did was gross but he gave mixed messages - u cannot deny that. Their both stupid.

    • @tsundor1
      @tsundor1 4 місяці тому +7

      he did not give her mixed messages.. as soon as the cameras were off they weren't in that kinda relationship. sure he did do it for clout but so did she, it was a mutual agreement and he expressed to her many times that he was not into her that way, he was not leading her on, she was just clingy and persistent, choosing to ignore his feelings and manipulate him. also i have a very high suspicion you would not be saying the same if the roles were reversed. it's very disgusting that men being assaulted do not receive the same amount of support and sympathy

    Bro really being bullied by a girl half his size though
    But I'll say this... if I had a chick tryna do some wild shit and I felt like he says he did I would stop being around her all together (I've had to do it before and still havent talked to them since)
    But if she did this shit in the last year he would be in jail already for turning her down... oh and he would be labeled as a racist 😂

    • @tsundor1
      @tsundor1 4 місяці тому +4

      that's the thing, he was not with her. you need a prior mutual understanding between one another about your boundaries if you're gonna kiss someone while they're unconscious. which he did express time and time again what his boundaries with her were and she just ignored them every time. besides if it's that easy to get away from a bad relationship we would not have people who stick with their abusers at all... it's not that simple

      I mean, it's two teenagers that enabled each other and didn't take the actions you should, and neither did any supervisor like their parents, neither side had much in terms of real proof outside of saying "x did this" with the only thing being that (clearly her doing something wrong) video.
      Yet, if she kept doing what he said, he shouldn't even have entertained the "relationship roleplay" for the videos, since she clearly developed an unhealthy obsession with him for a while according to his statements, it's a difficult situation since there are some serious allegations and parts to it, but also a lot of kindergarten where they should have handled it with the legal system, or private, instead of a back and forth online.
      So I assume Charlie is just thinking "damn, this whole situation is just stupid" but not meaning it is not serious, because it is stupid, as no real and official action was ever taken when this situation was only possible through both sides enabling it.

  • @collinashley7116
    @collinashley7116 5 місяців тому +8

    Jack is simply a little girl. If he truly didn’t like her that way he’d have set boundaries with her AT ANY POINT. instead he led her on by kissing her and letting her kiss him. If he was truly unconscious then yeah that’s her bad but so much of this is on him as well.
