@CrystalRose1111 that's true that's why you gotta do something about it. How many generations are gonna say their kids gotta change the future before someone stands up and does something about it.
When I was young I never understood why older people (say in their 50s) just sit and drink. They don’t say anything. They don’t care about being right. Because it doesn’t matter who’s right.
we have had people break into homes and violently physically assault people like 50 times (no lie) and continually get suspended sentences because " prison will make them worse". Crime in australia is a hot button issue at the moment.
As mentioned near the beginning... NSW was created by criminals, run by criminals, had attempts to remove the criminals result in a coup, placing the criminals into power, and is still run by criminals to this day. Government outsourcing is literally just using taxpayer money to pay criminals to run companies that use political power to gain corruption money to do whatever they want (plus make a piece of infrastructure on the side as per contract) and they use some of those profits to make sure the next election puts their criminal lackeys in power so they get the next contract.
One of the advantages of the Australian legal system is loser pays. This gives anyone especially the rich, a huge disincentive to actually go to court unless they are sure they can win. Legal threats are common but legal action is far less common. If you call their bluff they often fold to avoid paying for your legal costs and court costs when they lose. As a result, lawyers are much less aggressive chasing court action.
It actually gives great incentive for the rich to pursue it because they can drag out the proceedings to the point you are broke and can no longer afford to fight it. So then you lose. Lawyers aren't waiting until the end of the case to see who to give the invoice to. You'll be paying for their time to prepare the case beforehand and then for each appearance.
@@Mad4400 I think you misunderstand. You are describing all legal systems. The rich will always have the advantage. At least in Australia, I don't have to pay anything at all if I win. The loser pays for all legal and court costs. So in America for example Big companies will litigate everything until the other side runs out of money even if they have a weak case that would lose, the other side often gives up. Lawyers will do what they are told or they have anything to do. Their greed is their god. The result is always at the end in all jurisdictions. Why do you think most cases are settled? It is almost never the clients wishes.
To clarify one of your last comments, John Barilaro IS a conservative. He was part of the Nationals party and was a deputy to Gladys Berejiklian who is part of the right wing LNP party and also had scandals.
mental health is a massive loophole in Australia. My friend in Europe had a friend attacked too and he was released early coz of this. Basically attempted murder but done less than 2 years. rest of time is to be served at home with parents. systems have gotten weak.
As an Australian, gotta interject on your last comment but Bruz is definitely conservative. In Australia the Liberal National Party is the right winged conservative party while Labor Party is the left leaning Liberal Party. Confusing I know but party with liberal in its name is not a liberal leaning party.

Journalists are supposed to hold the powerful in society accountable. That's why there's Freedom of the Press, unfortunately most journalism has been tainted by dark money, so therefore instead of bringing corruption to light like they're supposed to do, they instead obfuscate & misdirect the public providing cover for their corporate overlords. This guy is a true genuine journalist & he's making a difference.
That's the ideal, but there's no "supposed to". Journalism was pretty much invented by rich people to influence the public in ways that benefit themself and occasionally to smear their competition / people that are in their way. Fortunately, there has been SOME evolution, but it's very much a 2 steps forward, 1 3/4 steps backwards process.
Take it from an Australian and Jordies patreon, John Barillaro is a conservative. He's from the LNP (Liberal National Party) which is our conservative party. And conservatives do hate Jordies, so do some in the even further left area (that doesn't really exist in your country). That was an unforced error MC. Liberalism is the economic policy. Labor (us democrats) and Greens (us greens) are our main left wing, there are other parties but they don't have any statistical significance. We use preferential voting, you'd call it ranked choice. So I can vote my conscience so long as I know where my preferences are going. If you had that you'd see immediate changes. And if you got rid of gerimandering, conservative politics wouldn't be a rush to the bottom. Now that Biden has dropped out you should be demanding from Harris + (insert running mate) to give you some concessions in order to win over your vote. Personally I'd lean into unfucking SCOTUS, but that's just a few things a socialist from across the sea has noticed. Take care, thanks for reading.
Bruzs boss Gladys Berejiklian just had a finding of severe corrupt conduct upheld against her for a separate matter. You've got to wonder if she was involved too.
It's not really unsafe for him to be in Australia. It's very easy to hide in plain sight in this country. Not even the government has a clue where a lot of people live here. Having multiple addresses is normal. Living in a place you're name isn't even associated with is not uncommon. Paying with cash is normal. You don't need to link your phone to your ID or anything. People can go missing very easily in this country by choice or otherwise.
John Barilaro is most definitely a conservative. He's a member of the National Party which is right wing and in a coalition with the other conservative party, the Liberal Party.
Gotta correct your comment at the end about Barilaro not being a conservative. On a scale left to right it goes Greens, Labor, Liberals, Nationals, he was deputy premier of a liberal national coalition government. Older conservatives think that he's not that bad because the right wing media omits the bad shit he got up to and zeros in on the 'cyber bullying'.
Last line from Charlie was odd. Barilaro was leader of the National Party, which is a conservative, right-wing party. Always have been. They have always claimed to represent the interests of rural Australians (their original name was the Country Party). Nationals work with the Liberal Party (a more urban-based conservative party) as a Coalition. So when there are elections it's essentially the Coalition (right-wing) vs Australian Labor Party (also right-wing but masquerading as left-wing). The only truly left-wing party in Australia are the Greens, who chiefly espouse traditional Labor policies (before Labor abandoned them in the 1980s) and get called left-wing lunatics by the Murdoch Press. Australian politics is fun. 😀

Yeah I am an Aussie, and even my grandpa who still thinks legacy media is worth watching thinks hes alright. We remarked about how following Laurie Oaks retiring from journalism Jordan Shanks is the only true journalist left in the country. Solid research, well presented. What are wild horses in Australia called?
Brumby - Wikipedia
A brumby is a free-roaming feral horse in Australia. Although found in many areas around the country, the best-known brumbies are found in the Australian Alps region.
They made some of the best war horse during ww1-2.
They don’t need shoes, are extremely fit and aren’t anxious around gunfire.

It's taken me years to say this, but I was impressed at how Christo took getting arrested by the NSW Police Fixated mentally ill unit. He sucked it up like it was a regular day and was like "Ok. Bring it on c#nts."
I think probably what broke him is the realisation that he's being exposed as a criminal and a liar and he wants out before something even bigger gets exposed. I think he's actually shocked at how much has been discovered about his life and he's scared what else is going to be uncovered as long as he keeps acting in the capacity of a public servant.

we have had people break into homes and violently physically assault people like 50 times (no lie) and continually get suspended sentences because " prison will make them worse". Crime in australia is a hot button issue at the moment.
This is making Australia look like more of a 3rd world country than America right now. And that's hard, like have you see America the past decade?
They (Americans) wish !
Never underestimate how filthy dirty politics can be
Is that a serious or exaggerated take?
As mentioned near the beginning... NSW was created by criminals, run by criminals, had attempts to remove the criminals result in a coup, placing the criminals into power, and is still run by criminals to this day. Government outsourcing is literally just using taxpayer money to pay criminals to run companies that use political power to gain corruption money to do whatever they want (plus make a piece of infrastructure on the side as per contract) and they use some of those profits to make sure the next election puts their criminal lackeys in power so they get the next contract.
As an American, i disagree...
Thanks for giving Friendly Jordie exposure he deserves more viewers.

Journalism was pretty much invented by rich people to influence the public
in ways that benefit themself and occasionally to smear their competition / people that are in their way.

This man is the real life Batman in Australia. Except he doesn't hide his identity. LoL
And got his home doxxed by mainstream media. Like bruhhh
