I Instantly Subscribed When You Brought Out The Hammer And Said "If You Can't Get Your Brakes Off, Just Beat Them Off". I Laughed So Much Because I've Been There Before and Literally Beating Them Off Was The Only Way Lmao
I got that same craftsman jack. I bought it from a friend. I was gonna go with a daytona or Pittsburgh but he gave me a good deal and it came with some jack stands! Awesome video.
If you don't need it delete it. In no particular order. Hammer, 4 in 1 screwdriver, plyers, wrench set- sae or metric, floor jack, breaker bar, pry bar, socket set, jack stands, map gas torch. Should get most jobs done.
For the basic "home-garage" guy, go to Harbor Freight and get yourself and nice 100+ piece set with sockets and ratchets and screw drivers and so on. You can find them on sale for under $100, and you do not need to get ICON or any professional stuff, just get what you can afford and don't think you can buy it all in one shot. Buy a little at a time and sooner then later you will build up your kit. Please buy a decent jack, I like the Daytona jack from Harbor Freight, you do not want to buy a cheap jack if you going to be spending anytime under a car. Also check yard sales, you will be surprised on what you can find.
Please do not tell people to work on cars using just a jack!! If you buy a jack, buy jack stands!!! They go together and are needed to be safe!! Even if you’re not under the car you can get hurt if it drops off a Jack while you are working on brakes or suspension….keep up the good work.
If I had to pick a tool to not cheap out on would be vice grips. I’ve tried many other brands and none are as good as the vice grip locking pliers. But I always say to buy the best tools you can afford. Great video guys!
I been working on a 2005 Dakota. Full front end rebuild. Almost everything is or was seized. Iv used propane torch and other penetration oil. Like seafoams spray It has been a hassle !! And not done. Lower control arm bolts are seized in the sleeves Maybe j need to rethink Maybe I need mapp gas and not propane and Pb blaster instead of what j have been using Was also using acetone / transmission oil. Heard that was a secret What is your method for getting stuck bolts out. Spray heat then torque or let it cool ??
Harbor freight breaker bars suck !! I snapped one drive off one with a cheater bar one it The other one I got feels like it’s gonna break lol. Great video
I've never had a problem out of mine. And I got 3. The older metal handle ones I have are tawain made tho not china like they are now. I think the soft grip Pittsburgh breaker bar is still Taiwan. I'm not sure tho.
Quinn master sets are where it’s at fellas
We will have to try it out

Thanks buddy
Milwaukees are pretty sweet too and have the hole to tighten with a driver instead of needing an Allen like vice
@@PriceKustomsMalco. SO rebrands them now at double the price, there's nothing better than Malco adjustable pliers 'Vice Grips'.
