Eventually in counselling he said “all my problems sit next to me on this couch” and my relative replied “cool I’ll remove the problems from your life then.” She moved out and filed for divorce the same week. Still she supposedly left “because she had an affair” and all his girlfriends feel so bad for him. (Of course girls he already fucked during their marriage) People like this won’t change, so you have to. I’m glad all of it was published so potential future victims can read it and recognise it’s being done to them before things get bad.

He never engaged in any sexual impropriety but he was notorious for bullying those who worked for him and he was not afraid to - in his own words - throw under the bus anyone who got in his way of growing his church into a multi-million dollar empire. He also embezzled money from the church in order to pay an agency to artificially boost the ratings for a book he wrote so that it could become a NYT bestseller. After it all unraveled, he moved his family to Phoenix where he started a new church wherein he continues to engage in the same abusive behavior without any meaningful checks and balances to his authority.

Still she supposedly left “because she had an affair” and all his girlfriends feel so bad for him. (Of course girls he already fucked during their marriage) People like this won’t change, so you have to. I’m glad all of it was published so potential future victims can read it and recognise it’s being done to them before things get bad.
