I had been wondering where a Gretsch or Gibson Billy Duffy signature guitar was for a good 12 years before the White Falcon finally came out,which I thought was long overdue,but considering the extent in which Gretsch is going with the white/black yin/yang concept they are certainly making up for any lost time it would appear and rightly so..............This has gotta be one of the coolest signature guitars there is,from any company.
@@sh4rkbyt3 He and Gibson actually got pretty far along in 2008 with a signature LP Custom, but I believe his idea was a natural wood front like what he actually used, which was a nod to Mick Ronson, and Gibson was thinking Sonic Temple cover black Custom, which was Steve Jones guitar, plus Gibson were planning on doing a Mick Ronson guitar with that top, so I guess it never went further.
@@JonathanRingo The latest is he's back in talks with Gibson and there may be a release soon of the bare top with just a little touch of stain to it. ;)

I'm really struggling to find the "evil" twin anywhere .....
I've got the white one but can't and haven't seen the black version anywhere.
Recently got news from a friend of mine in Texas, he bought one of Billy's own evil twin Black Falcon's. Now Billy only owns one.
