I did the Minox journey twice, once for a year and once for two years and I to have gradually lost my gains not to where I was before I started but definitely a noticeable difference. Finally someone else who has gone through this!

@@fearnobodyandtrustnoone No, you should wait 24 hours because if you apply it right after then it will go systemic and you'll be more likely to experience side effects like heart palpitations and stuff

@@TheGjkddk It's good that you haven't gotten any sides, but its probably because you're only doing .25, at about .75-1 that's when you really start penetrating the skin a lot and drawing blood. I wonder how Caesar is doing these days. I watched his latest vid, 11 months ago, and he's rocking this exact same beard, but I dunno if he's still on minoxidil or he left it, an update would be nice, even if it's a post. Sigh, this beard would be my dream, even patchy as it is. I could be a test subject to see if minoxidil works for people 40+ . I'm a 45 years old hispanic dude, during my whole life I only got a few hairs in my chin, and an incomplete mustache. that's it (thing that troubles me, is that my dad CAN grow a beard). I'm on my fourth month (the 4th minoxidil bottle is almost empty now, it has 3 days left at most). Kirkland 5%, 1ml applied two times at day, never missed a dose even when I had a bad, bad fever some weeks ago. My results are quite satisfactory. Now I finally have the sides growing up, and the area connecting the goatee... now my chin is almost full and I even have hairs in the lower part of my jaw (I guess? the area near the neck). It's patchy as hell, ugly, I'm thinking on buying a trimmer for it (I'll use a 0.5, to still have some hairs there and not lose motivation). Compared to anyone out there, is ugly and a disaster, but it's a disaster that I love. I guess it has added me at least 2-3 years but I don't care, I like it, even in this ugly state. My planned period? 3 years. No breaks unless real life forces me badly. Even if I have to shave myself completely, I'll still keep at it. Let's hope I can keep the results after the 3-year period is over. Right now I'm dreading over the first shedding, because these hairs definitely don't look mature. But it needs to happen.
you should have used dermaroller in first place cuz it can double the results, second thing is if u microneedle trim that beard to stubble. then get receipt for tretinoin cream, its best for skin over all it helps with collagen production and can help with minoxidil if combined together. needle twice a week, 5 days minoxidil, better than 1x needling. i really hope u get the beard u want, u inspired me to start this journey and so far im enjoying it, not full beard yet but i have time ;< also be careful with beard color ingredients, never microneedle and color beard same day, can get to blood stream and rip lyfe ^^ thats why i made a decision to color my beard after im done with all this:D
If you still have some of the gains for the long term, you can always get a hair transplant along with a beard transplant and just use a small amount of grafts for the patchy areas,if any of the gains are left after secession and are permanent it’s still worth it
The vellus and transitions hairs fall out after like a month. The terminal hairs gradually thin then fall out. Minox requires ongoing maintenance/applying to keep the results.

Before watching this, I watched your 1.5 year video and I was encouraged that you said "if people tell you that you'll lose it after stoping it, tell them no" and now it's the opposite which is discouraging. I havent even finished 1 bottel yet but am seeing amazing results, infact I have super fast rection to it compared to others result, but now I just dont know if I should continue if am going to lose it.
I stopped using minox after 6months of use. This was 4 years ago, and I kept around 80-90% of my hair. You should be good. I plan on getting back on it after a 4 year break, because i want to fill in some patchy areas better.
U look great for 40my man 👍🏼 I’m on day 2 of minoxidil I’m using it once a day tho as I’m 22 I’m using it for hairline that’s beginning to recede and for my beard because it’s super patchy in spots and only thick on my chin we’ll see how it goes I appreciate your videos very motivating and inspiring
Is it good also for the hairline? Some says that even if completely terminal in the hairline, if you stop using minoxidil, you will lose your gain and it will fall off because its different between in the scalp area and face area. Hope you will answer my question? Do we need to apply the minxodil in the hairline for maintenance only even if its terminal already? Or is it ok to stop?
From what I know, once you start applying minox (for hair) there is no going back and have to apply regulary forever but for beard most of it stays if it's terminal not all of it maybe around 80% I guess, but do your own research man.
Will my original facial hair start falling or just the minoxidil gains after i stop using it? because i already have a beard but not thick with some bald spots and i dont want to lose my original facial hair. Thank you
Started Minox about a week ago for one tiny patch on my left side. Is it worth not for that one tiny patch? I'm it's mostly for my head though to be honest. First night made me extremely anxious with fast heartbeat, but only lasted a couple hours and haven't had it since. I use beard oil to counter the dryness as well.
It’s worth a try for sure but it may just be genetics that you can’t grow it there, I would maybe try growing your hair out more and manipulating it to cover that spot. I’m 20 and I’ve been using minoxidil for about 2.5 months and the new spots of hair I’ve gained are insane. I’m getting very close to a full beard coming from a complete baby face
Im derma rolling every other day for better progress, I’ve heard you don’t need to apply minox twice a day cause it’s strong either way, I started less than a week ago can’t wait to hit the one month mark to see
Don't dermaroll every second day mate. Twice a week at most is best. You gotta let the skin repair itself and build that collagen up. If you dermaroll too often you will end up damaging your skin and that will clash with beard growth 😉
If you're getting a rash from Kirkland Minox you might be sensitive to propylene glycol. Sucks because Kirkland is cheap. EDIT: If you're using the foam version of Kirkland then I have no idea as the foam is PG free.

The difference is the amount of minoxidil in the formula. 5% have more minoxidil on its formula than the 2% one. 2% is recommended for women, 5% is recommended for men. At least that's what I read on the booklet inside the box of a generic Minoxidil 2% bottle I bought in July, just to test the secondary effects I may show. I used it once at day, for 2 weeks, without remarkable side effects. After those two weeks, I decided to jump to a 6-pack 5% Kirkland. I recommend 2% to test if you have bad side effects or react badly to the minoxidil, then jump to 5%. But I dunno if I could recommend it to use it definitely, I didn't notice any gains at all during that period, whereas I could see new hairs almost at the first 2 weeks of the 5% one.
Hi sir, Sorry for bothering you I used minoxidil to stimulate my beard growth for 2 years, how should I stop using minoxidil safely ?
