- Yup, you read the title right! Another DIY food photography backdrop video. I love making these backgrounds and you guys seem to really enjoy the videos too. So I thought why not create a new one ready for valentines day. This background is so easy and a sure fire way to improve your food photos if you've been stuck with the same backdrops for awhile.
If you want a cheap and easy way to create new food photography backgrounds I definitely suggest following along with this tutorial and making some of your own. You decide whatever colours you like which will make every board totally unique. I went for a pink... very unlike me, but with Valentines Day coming up, why not!
Tools I Use In my Backgrounds

Yup! Another DIY background. This one is sooo easy compared to my others so anyone that’s told me they don’t make them because it seems to hard! There’s no excuses with this one!
(For anyone that remembers, my husband said this video reminds him of the old program Art Attack!, let me know in the comments if you remember 😂 )
I really loved Art Attack, OMG😀
you did a good job
Thank you!
I have been trying to make my own backdrops for a year now, trying to learn from YT videos but it's till now that I've found the perfect tutorial. You use materials I can relate to and explain everything so well, ahh! Thank you so much
I am so glad you found the tutorial useful! And I hope you enjoy creating your own backgrounds, they are so much fun to make
Wow it will help me a lot , thanks for sharing such an amazing tutorial dear🤗👍❣️

Another great tutorial, thanks for the tips!
Thanks so much!
Great video!!
Thank you so much
great job…what tyoe of board did you use?
Hi, I just use a sheet of plywood. Not too thin to stop it from warping
Did you paint the wood in white first? Great video
As I was doing it in a light colour yes, saved me having to do an extra coat. If you’re using darker colours a white coat isn’t necessary
Awesome l give it a try :) did you experience any bending of the wood after the paint dried?
I didn't, but I always go for wood about 10mm thick at a minimun. Hope you enjoy making your own!
what material is that board made from? thx!
Hi! i just use a ply wood board! You can get them online or from any sort of handy shop!
What type of paint did you use ?
I just use normal emulsion paint, for walls and things. But always with a matte finish :)
Alright, thank you so much🙂
No problem :) hope you have fun making your own!
Is that plywood or MDF?
These were plywood, but MDF would work too I think :)
@@AMPhotographer okaay thanks amie, much love from Indonesia 😊
