Great! Good to hear that there is another good introductory reel for new BFS anglers who want to dip their toes and don’t want to spend too much on a first reel! 🙌🏼
It’s so cheap, you can’t go wrong. I just bought the slightly beater dual spool version of it which is about the same price. Will be interesting to see what that’s like compared to the cast as it has the same handle.
Yea they are crazy. I think they are getting more accurate based on your replies. The first week it came out one of them was nearly word for word what I commented to someone and it was obscure, not something like “thanks for watching”
Can't find too many reels for that price point that actually perform. Couple nice catches always nice when doing a review and not sure either what that 2nd fish was. Great job Jacob and thanks for your thoughts!
I really want to see you catch fish on surface…give top water a go!! You’ll love it! The second fish I think was an EP, haven’t seen an EP myself but it did not look like a bass
Yea I need to try it for sure, but hardly get time to fish so I’m mostly throwing on something versatile that I can use as a search bait and also work the bottom if needed.
I just got one a few days ago. I took the reel bearings out and cleaned the grease out of the bearings with acetone and relubricated with light oil and the reel casts much better now. Also, cleaning the grease out will result in a much longer freespool.
I bought 5 of these reels my first came with replaceable handle bushings to bearings so I thought nice reel but I kept getting them cheaper the last one I got was $14 dollars I got the haibo arise rubberized knobs covers they worked great.
First, I really like mine, it's an unpretentious little reel, while the usual suspects are over $50, this guy with a cheaper rod can deliver the same performance for less than half the price.
Remember the mavllos rod that had the monocoque butt and cork grip. I forgot the name, it’s a ML rod I used to have. I think it was yumingbu feija. That would be good with the struggle.

Exactly, I just ordered the dual spool cast x style version of it
Best Aussie UA-camr out there 😎
You forgot to add in brackets (that reviews cheap Chinese fishing gear from aliexpress)
Nicely done ✔️ good info and good fish caught. Doesn't require much 😊
Thanks. Hopefully I can catch a bigger one at the beach. Commonly caught over 50cm
Thanks for the "heads up". May have to check this one out.😁

Really good looking reel for the price! Great video as always mate
Thanks heaps! Trying to show that good performance doesn't have to break the bank. (UA-cam AI response haha)
@ AI responses come in handy 😂

pretty certain it was an estuary perch, but I had never fished that river before and i know in that general vicinity they also have aussie bass.

I might do the same, also free spool is highly overrated. There is a point of diminishing returns.

Wow that’s awesome. I have so many spare handles I’ll just swap it out.

Yea, certainly would make a very solid ultra budget combo. I gotta double check their rod specs.
@@yep.fishing There is a Goture with the right color scheme

Hopefully the matching rod is just as good. Probably has a really poor guide count.
Well the startlire zacco was nice, hopefully it’s like that
@5wisher5weet I bought the 4 piece super macans Camreo rod 1.8m same color 4 to 21 grams lure. I think $12.77 I like it
Yea did a video on that one some time ago. I had 3 of them but didn’t use them so gifted one to my dad and he was happy. The 8ft in spinning I think
Which rod were you using?
