Before the arrival of Portuguese settlers in Brazil, thousands of indigenous people had their beliefs, myths and gods. The indigenous people believed in several gods, and these gods represented forces of nature and natural phenomena
I'm gonna introduce 9 Brazilian gods from Brazilian Mythology and probably you're gonna notice similarities with gods from other regions of the world like Greek Mythology, Nordic Mythology or Egypt Mythology

THE BRAZILIAN GODS MENTIONED ARE:
- Tupã: Thunder God, considered the supreme god;
- Guaraci: Sun God, son of Tupã;
- Jaci: Moon goddess, wife of Guaraci;
- Rudá: Love God;
- Anhangá: Underworld God, enemy of Tupã;
- Ticê: Queen of underworld and wife of Anhangá;
- Akuanduba: Responsible for maintaining order and balance of the world;
- Yebá Bëló: Responsible for the creation of humanity and universe;
- Kianumaka-Manã: Jaguar goddess, she represents the freedom

I'm Brazilian and was born in Brazil to Brazilian parents but after living 21 years in the U.S, I can speak Spanish fluently meanwhile I can hardly speak or write in Portuguese at all.
I hope you were able to completely understand the Portuguese part.

Minas gerais in fact but I've been here for so long and I use my Portuguese so little I've actually developed some trouble reading and writing it, I can still speak it decent enough but now I've got an American accent when I speak Portuguese. Hahahaha and absolutely!!! I'll be here for as many parts as there is content on this subject.
