Not to mention the fact that he was offered the title of the ruler of the dead and just decided to give that title to Osiris just so he could focus more on the job he already had.

Actually some archeological evidnece from recent years, prove Horus really existed! He lived around 5000 years ago and united the upper and lower Kingdom of Egypt. The story of Horus vs Seth, like the Trojan war is inspire by real event. Of course, much like the Trojan war, we can only piece together bit and pieces of what happened, base on mythology, but it give us a rough idea what happened. A further interesting fact, when they enter Horus' pyramid, do you know who Horus look like? Barack Obama. A more interesting fact, in the pyramid there is a line that translate into English says 5000 years later a Pharaoh from a far away land west to the great sea of the world would come and visit my tomb, that Pharaoh is my reincarnation, which literally infer Obama is Horus reincarnated. And the fact the real Horus in history looked like Obama...Cool! (Wait, if Obama is Horus reincarnated then...is Osama Bin Ladin Seth reincarnated? If that is true, the mythology is for certain right about one thing, Seth is an ass hole. Wait, in that case...is seal team 6, that killed Osama Bin Ladin, the reincarnation of Horus Generals or something LOL)
>Osiris had an affair with his brother, Seth’s, wife >a child was born >Seth furious >Seth tricked Osiris in a blatantly obvious trap >Seth kills brother who slept with his wife >also Osiris overthrow his father >Seth is “evil” Seth is the chad god of the dry lands.
What about the fact that every time "new gods" were added to the myth story; it was directly related to New Kings taking power (for the powerful shifting control) and them rewriting the control system for their people to value. It's almost like when Kings take over a region and they destroy the monuments and statues of the prior king.

That's not the "real" Egyptian mythology. That's the new kingdom mythology. The ancient kingdom mythology starts with the self creation of Amun out of the primordial waters and then he proceeds to create stuff.
This is inaccurate information. Nun which is the water is the start of creation. There are 4 worlds of creation all ruled by their own families of Gods. The four worlds are Manu, Aakhut, Rosetau, and Ament. Water, fire, earth, and air. The world of Manu : there are 11 steps to begin creation each step is represented by a God. Nun (water) created the sun (RA) with motion, matter, space, time, darkness, light, communication, structure, precession, rotation, and revolution. The constant motion and chaos mixed with Nun speaking creative utterings… the sun emerged from the water and is the first element to come about. Which then transitions us and leads us into the second world of creation Fire. The world of Aakhut. There’s a whole lot more. But I’ll end it here lol

It shows their appreciation for their land and wildlife. Also the Nile was a great source for the people of Egyptian which is most likely why it is revered in mythology as well as the sun.

How was Seth evil? He just repeated the actions of Osiris before him. In fact Osiris betray Seth by fathering a child with his wife. There seems to be no evidence besides his title that he is evil. No evil deeds. No attrocities. No unjust laws. Is this a case of history rewriten by the victors? Genuinely asking.
Set isn't evil at all, he even defends Ra's sun barge nightly from the Giant snake of chaos Apophis, who casts a spell to put all the other gods to sleep, but since Set is too clever to fall for such a spell, he alone defends the rest of the gods from the great serpent.
Blake Jones in the video it said that Seth's wife disguised herself as Isis so it doesn't sound like Osiris knew it was Seth's wife when he slept with her. Also I would say killing his brother and trying to abuse his nephew are evil. I hear what your saying when you say Seth was following what Osiris did in talking the throne from his dad. Only difference there is that Osiris didn't kill his dad. What do you think?
Sun worshipers, the story is the same anywhere. Christanity is by far the biggest group of sun worshipers, and most are totally unaware of its heathen pagen beginnings
Good "Egyptian Mythology for Dummies." Lots of inconsistencies and its not even the tip of the iceberg in how complex the actual myths and relationships in them are. Seth is chaos/destruction not "evil," having a heart that was too heavy OR too light was bad on the scale of judgement, and Thoth was male (though most of the Gods had M/F counterparts), etc.
Isn't it funny The Gods are no better than us, they still succumb to all the petty emotions that we experience. Envy, greed, heart break etc. The universe is ruled by emotion. BUT Maybe the plot twist is the Gods are using us to learn how to experience happiness and eternal bliss, so let's show them how it's done people!❤✌
@Jesus Incarnate if Greeks ,romans, egyptian god are myth I guess Jewish god also a myth , Christian god jesus might exist but still all miracle he performs are myth same goes to Muhammed of muslim
You want any details about it? Because originally that is how it was but then Osiris cult started getting famous and eventually took over Anubis' role as the ruler of the underworld and Set turned from a powerful god to evil god and Egyptians didn't want Anubis to have a connection with an evil god, so they changed his story to him being the son of Osiris 👍🏼
Even though religion changed several times in Egypt, the mystical nature of cats is still acknowledged to this day. My Muslim family told me never to harm cats because they are.. "special" and harming them would bring harm to the one who does it. As pets dogs are literally the underdogs as they don't have the special status of cats. On the streets cats roam around cafeterias, shops and restaurants and are offered food by all. It's considered a demeaning act to refuse feeding a stray cat. So, even though their religious significance was long gone, over the ages and to this day they are still seen and treated as special creatures.
I have seen muslim videos where cat walking on books excetp the quoran. They really have special status there. I have heard that in egypt a tourist kicked a cat and she died and then the mob killded him.
Listening to that last part about cats and looking at my own cat, laying in my bed with her arms and legs all spread forward, semi closed eyes and slightly purring cracked me up 🤣😂

Can you share where I can find more info!! Im doing research but wouldnt mind help

No wonder I feel like something is missing.

Even though religion changed several times in Egypt, the mystical nature of cats is still acknowledged to this day.
My Muslim family told me never to harm cats because they are.. "special" and harming them would bring harm to the one who does it.
