@@javiervasquez625 making them different from there male counter parts while playing into there strength is a smart move tho I wouldn't really call showtime a puzzle oriented game.
@@rossjones8656 Yeah i agree yet my point is that they could have been given the same level of fighting prowess and skills as their male counterparts ala Linkle in Hyrule Warriors to make them on par with them in terms of story and gameplay relevance. Alas Nintendo still wants Zelda to be on Link's shadow just like Peach still is with Mario's.

Being apart of a lot of main series game and her own game which plays around more with magical girl aspects and need I point to her final form. Zelda has always been more of a puzzle game and Zelda herself is more times then not a mage so they made her a mage.

You missed the point of my comment and act as if i've been denying Nintendo's justification to give the "ladies" of their respective franchises their own unique playstyle to make them standout from their male counterparts. The Zelda games have _not_ been exclusively focused on puzzle-solving (have you played a Zelda game?) but a blend of both action and puzzles as we traverse a world filled with enemies and collectables awaiting to be gathered through either combat or puzzles. Wether Zelda has been mostly depicted as a mage is inconsequential to the comment i made above so again i reiterate you have missed the point of my comment. Hmm?
Based on Ganon's inexplicable return in the trailer my guess would be either in between A Link between Worlds and the original The Legend of Zelda (thus explaining his resurrection in the original game) or even a sequel to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link after Ganon's resurrection under circumstances which will be addressed in the story. Wathever placement it will ultimately have i do know this with certainty: the old timeline is still here baby!
From the looks of this game's artstyle, "Ganon's" appearance in his pig form and Zelda wearing a dress similar to her Classic looks from across the earlier 2D Era it seems this game takes place in the Downfall Timeline confirming Nintendo has yet given up on the original timeline to continue making games within it. Needless to say it i'm hyped!
