Echoes of wisdom was the last thing I expected but it looks really good and playing as Zelda is cool the echoes are cool concept and the more strategy based gameplay looks good and unique
I know Zelda and Metroid are the big talking points here, but your "I have never wanted anything less" reaction to the Funko game really hit me.
I'm so happy to see the new Zelda game and even moreso that it uses the cute Link's Awakening style.
Echoes of Wisdom looks so cool!! Imagine all the neat puzzle-solving methods when you have so many tools at your disposal!
It's so cute! I love that there is a companion again and they're returning to older lore for the movie while still keeping things new and interesting. Also, I'm STOKED! for the zelda amiibo that's surely coming!

I think EoW is Nintendo's idea of minecraft mechanics, laying materials down and summoning elements
I fear Echoes of Wisdom might have something like the hoverbike that makes almost every puzzle trivial. I hope it's a little more balanced
This is the first time in quite a while that I’ve seen so many games I want to play. I’m so excited!
The building at the top right in the lead up to the title splash at about 14:40 looks very much to me to be the Eastern Palace - you can even see the field of boulders between it and the Hyrule Castle moat... this has me wondering if this is supposed to take place right after the events of Link's Awakening (or the Oracle games), after Link returns to ALttP Hyrule 👀

wait no this is straight up a link to the past's map, you can see the bridge going down towards link's "house" then south, the place where the witch's hut should be and then lake hylia further south just like in alttp

EoW (1st time typing that abbreviation!) looks like a blast; my daughter and her friend’s eyes lit up when they saw Zelda was the protagonist.
I think the best possible outcome for the Zelda fandom is that both 2D/3D games continue to be made, and that their innovations/particularities inform each other.
Zonai devices ran so the echo ability could fly!

A prequel to Link's Awakening that retcons Link being the same Link as Zelda 3?
There are also both kinds of Zora in the same game and Gerudo are present in the desert.
Plus Link isn't wielding the Master Sword.

I've been pretty low on that game hype ever since Tears of the Kingdom came out, so it's a perfect time for the other big hype juggernaut to finally reveal itself.
Super excited for Sylux too, since I haven't played Hunters but I know people have said his appearance in that game is super mysterious and practically buildup for this game.
3 mario party games on one console is actually normal.
N64 had 3 and GameCube had 4!

When I saw the first few seconds of the MP4 trailer I thought it was Prime 2 but it wasn’t and was surprised.
Also someone mentioned on twitter that the MP4 logo looks like a black hole.

It's all really cool, and i'm really hyped... but i kinda hope they didn't get too crazy with the "Freedom" aspect of it... when i hear them say "Solve puzzles however you want" it scares me, because i really won't feel clever if i can brute force my way through every dungeon by stacking the same crate everywhere and that was one of TotK's biggest problem.

The Mario & Luigi game looks amazing. Except for reminding me friend to coop is a thing some people can do .

Yeah so 2d sprites on dq3 look just a bit off. Maybe it's a frame rate thing. Otherwise looks like a wishlist entry.
I did a replay of dq1 not too long ago.
I agree about the "3Ds Upscale" games.
Hopefully this Mario party game has the ability to skip tutorials, rather than forcing it for EVERY SINGLE EVENT.

This game like beautiful. The nod to botw with Zelda looking out over The lands. But the real question: can she cut grass, break clay pots, and dig up goodies?
But yeah, nothin in this game was on my bingo card either. If I'd had one of course. Maybe we should start doing that.
Stray on switch will be nice for folks without PlayStation or PC (it's on steam, not sure about Xbox).
I love the scan-athons in Metroid Prime. MP4 is looking amazing.

This was wild.
The legend of Zelda echos of wisdom is the only announcement that has me excited from this direct. This direct is missing real-time strategy games like starcraft for the Nintendo switch online N64. Have you ever played any real time strategy games?
StarCraft + Broodwar and WarCraft 3 were my jam back in the day, yeah! Played them on PC back then.
But I'm pretty pleased with the offerings this direct had tbh
I can't be the only one that thought that releasing Dragon Quest 1&2 HD-2D after 3 was a strange decision, right?
Also, when the Metroid Prime 4 trailer started I thought maybe it was an announcement for Metroid Prime 2 Remastered 😅 Hopefully they add 2 and 3 at some point
Story wise it makes sense. Though it's generally recommended to play 1+2 first.
