- After nearly burning up my motor trying to get up the steep slope to access the north face I decided it was time to do some modifications to the HG P802 heavy hauler and see if we can make it a more capable hauler. I’m looking forward to seeing how these mods work out. Thank you, to all you who comment on my channel and the suggestions too are very helpful.
I Like how you make videos that show what and how you fix or upgrade. To many out there that only show off what they did and not how they did it. They miss the opportunity for more videos and subscribers . I will gladly sub to your channel.
Thank you. I want to share what can help make this hobby even more enjoyable. And repairs and upgrades are all part of it.
Thank you for your support!
great video
Thank you very much. 😊
always impressive👍😄
Thank you
Very nice video
Few screws don’t kill anybody nice work my man
Thank you very much 👍
It is a very good idea to operate the truck with a different engine plus a second gearbox.

Hi i am a subsriber and like and motevated to the rc world i bought the loader like yours and i do love the thing, however i lost the sound in the second week of Driving. Now i have a nother problem i got a little snow and fired up to move some snow only to find the rear weels are not engaging in only the two front weels, but the drive shaft is spinning. Now i know its not your problem I just think you might be more knowledgeable to give me some advice.Thanks.
@@RAWUSq1X4 no problem I love to help. That’s what community is about. I’d lost the sound on my dozer and it wound up being just the speaker. I found a similar size speaker on Amazon and it works great now. I would try that first to fix the sound.
Now the rear axle not spinning might like be a broken gear in the hub. I have had that happen too. Lift the rear axle grab both tires and spin one. Does the other spin in the opposite direction? If not then it’s likely a broken gear. I was able to replace just the broken gear in mine and it has worked great since. Mine was in the front axle but it will be the same difference on the rear. Warning here though. I broke three bolts trying to get the hub off. I had to break out the torch and heat the bolts and hub to get them out. Let me know if you have any other questions. I’m
Hi what is the name for a recommended brushless engine and ESP for this engine please.
How much more power is the recommended engine.... 20%..?. This is for my HG -P802 upgrade
Hi love your videos.Question i have a loader like yours i find the rear wheel is not turning, can you share your views. Queastion where do i get parts for it.
If it’s something like a broken gear in the hub planetary system you can just modify a pinion gear that matches to fit. That’s what I have done in the past. I got my gear off Amazon.
Hi i am in New York, where are you ?
buen video
Thanks 😊.
the higher T number on the motor, the higher torque it has right ? i think i need to replace motor too, sometime my wheel wont spin on hill after i locked all my diff, i guess it need more torque ??.. i hope u can make a video how it clime on the hill. btw, do u have any Cross Rc(brand name) truck? u should get one, they are nice.
You are correct. The higher turn or “t” number the more torque, but lower rpm per volt applied. So a 45t is lower rpm but higher torque then a 35t. So you might be stalling the motor if the torque demand (load) is too high.
Check out this video of mine crawling up a steep grade with a 100+ pound load on it. It is maxed out. Any more weight and I wouldn’t have the power to move and it would stall.

Hi quick question if I may. Where did you get your screw assortment?
I got my screw assortment from Amazon.
Do you have a link to the planetary transmission
This is the gear reduction unit I used.

@@digitrc thank you very much
Hi, you now how many Turns the original motor has ?
I’m not for sure. I think it may be a 55T on the original motor. It has some pretty decent torque to begin with.
Like your video's, just a different angle to view from so we didn't get to see everything. Still wishing I could afford it
It’s tough getting angles so we can all see what’s going on and still work on it. I’ll try some different stuff. Good eyeglass camera would be awesome.
more torque better on crawling?
It’s better for hauling heavy, heavy loads.
Hey I also have upgraded the motor but I am having trouble with controller it’s not working any tips on how you did it?
What motor did you upgrade too?
I got the surpass hobby 550 80T motor and new 35kg steering servos and I can’t get it to work
@@matthewwood7103 same speed controller?
Yes I used the same one and nothing happened I even bought another one that came with that motor and still nothing
@@matthewwood7103 what battery are you using and did you verify that voltage is getting through your switch to your esc?
Very nice video
Thank you. And thanks for giving me your feedback too. I appreciate that.
