I could say that To kill something that turns faster than you is skill but some hitboxes are broken
@@gunther1454 i mean to kill a cera with allo u need skill, a allo with carno, a rex with pretty much anything if you dont have them skills and just turn around and random bite youre gonna get fed

this actually had nothing to do with rex left turning, sticky put his snipe hitbox in the rex's mouth accidentally. He would've gotten hit there from giga, shant, trike, anything tall enough to hit it
Ye, I put my snipe hitbox towards it, but this is too far to get hit normally, I would need to be closer to the rex. So this is a false rendering, rex is closer to me than appears on my screen (false render happens with lag)
Broken hitbox be like that,one of the reasons to drop this game
I'm glad there's broken hit boxes otherwise the game play would unrealistic garbage shit like path of titans💀 if there wasn't a broken hit box apexes would be getting killed by solo Utah's due to turning circles being in the game which it shouldn't at all be a thing in any game

@@godlyphantom3255 The issue with Path of Titans is you can't bite anything below you with a grown Rex. I got killed by a Juvie ass riding me that I literally couldn't touch. But you can't say fixing hit boxes is a bad thing. We just need better animations and attack sequences that allow these animals to latch onto prey of different sizes. The new Rex will probably be much better.
@PyroBlonde7777 combat on evrima is good and actually takes skill but combat in pot is stupid, they favour small dinos extremely high without considering the agility and speed they have which dominates the apexes so hard, legacy having broken hitboxes is fine atleast it let's apexes be able to defend themselves, if hitboxes are ever fixed then alt turning should be brought back, I don't see why they removed alt turning
Ye im struggling with lag turns massively atm especially when i play something that gets one shot. but i also need to practise positioning way more.

Legacy combat absolutely stinks
First time I've actually seen a rex win against anything. The devs should rename it dead meat
@@anonymanonym3669 not if your opponent can ass ride you perfectly. Then anything can kill you. Lag played a big role in this fight. Had there not been lag, the Acro would have killed it. A skilled Rex player has to use terrain and the environment to win. The new Rex will be able to knock down foes with a head ram while being able to pin them as well. Glad ass riding is a thing of the past.
Lets see how the Tyrannosaurus Rex in Evrima comes, but i think it's going to take way too long, and they just nerfed stamina, Evrima is more of an afk simulator than that Legacy is right now. @@PyroBlonde7777
That is why I choose acro over any other Apex. it’s fast got good bleed decent damage. And can out run almost anything.
Agreed, this is why I consider Acro an Apex, despite multiple people telling me it's not. The fact that it can just absolutely destroy mid tiers, makes it an Apex in my eyes. In fact, Acros can chase down and kill more variety of Dinos than a Rex/Spino/Giga ever could

Ye, combination of false render and snipe hitbox (this is too far to get sniped normally, means Acro rendered on my screen further than it actually is)
In order to fight a rex you need skill even if your fast if it breaks your leg your done you need to get behind it cause it can pretty much tank any apex wich is why acro is good against rex its fast enough to run around and tail ride it.
Sticky do you think you’ll start making vids in EVRIMA after the new Gateway map releases? Seems like there’s a good number of dinos in the EVRIMA branch to make vids of

@@StickyUtah Thats ~6 blocks off the left and he bit while elevated slightly hence why he didnt need to look up, that was a clear snipe. The snipe spot changes depending on how big the dino is, acro is huge, 100% a fair snipe. You should def test them out and make a vid on it im sure there are plenty of people who would be willing to help

If I try to join into the Hunting grounds the isle server I cant find it. Does anyone know how I can fix that??
Here's how you can still connect via Steam:
1. Close The Isle game completely.
2. Open Steam. Go to View --> Game servers --> press the Favorites tab at the top of the pop-up
3. Once in Favorites tab, press the **+** button (this is to add a server to Favorites)
4. Paste this into the box **104.243.41.250:8715** and press Ok
5. The server will now be added, but the name will appear as 90176424157050890, and the game will appear as **Unreal Test!** **Isle V3**
6. Select that server, and press Connect (again, make sure your Isle Game is closed completely, before trying to connect)
7. After you press Connect, the Isle will launch automatically, and will automatically connect you to the server. Just allow it to load naturally, don't click anything else.
Please follow these steps to the letter, and you should be able to join!
@@StickyUtah I have evrima and legacy installed at the same time and after pressing connect evrima opened bc thats the one I got in steam so ig it wont work. TY tho :D

The Rex is bigger and much thicker than the Acro. the Acro only appears bigger because its closer. The tall spine makes them appear bigger than they really are.

i guess people mostly call it an apex because its big, also it may have a hard time against other apexes but its much much stronger than any of the smaller dinosaurs

Acro is an Apex goofy. Often overshadowed by other giant theropods, Acrocanthosaurus was nonetheless an enormous beast and an assured apex predator in its time.
Cera is obviously a small mid Dino.

The Acro was an Apex in The Isle in it´s early stages, so people who play since the Isle came out, still consider an Acro as an Apex, because that´s what they read about the Acro in the first place

You do realize that Acros are about the same size as a Giga right? They are literally an apex. The Giga is only marginally larger with a more robust jaw. Otherwise, they're directly related and similar in weight. So unless you plan on claiming the Giga isn't an apex, then I suggest you relax lol.
@@PyroBlonde7777from a stats point of view its not an apex as its substantially weaker than the other apexes. Its speed and turn circle make it very threaterning but its still too weak to be an apec
