I think Jonestown Interlude was really interesting. It starts off sounding like sunshine and rainbows but takes a very dark turn like the real Jonestown and the 900 suicides (really murders) that happened in the 70's. The people that joined were promised a heaven on earth type community by Jim Jones but we all know how it ended. Was pretty neat to see the song kinda represent that.

I think Over Now deserves more hype it’s such an amazing song in my opinion. Stay and Over now are definitely my top 2 on the album
3rd comment, but i don't care. In fact I'm gonna talk about two things:
1: I have a very strong feeling Post is one of the many artists that are bringing back elements of Rock. Now I say *elements* because it's obviously not entirely rock. It's a mix of pop, hip-hop, country, RnB; Post just has so many aspects in his music, and he includes a rock feel and a rock status in this album. "Over Now" is easily my favorite track on the album because it has the raw emotion and anger paired with an AMAZING instrumental. It feels so real with the guitars, the live drums, and the overall atmosphere of the track. It feels like i'm listening to a legitimate 2018 rock song.
2: Yeah, the album has a very repetitive message of relationships and how they all fucked up. But in perspective, 7 out of the 18 songs on this project are TRULY about fucked up relationships (I say seven but I honestly don't know if Same Bitches qualifies, seeing how it wasn't very specific). The others are about cars, luxuries, success, drinking, and so on. Yeah, they have a few lines about a girl or something, but they don't have a core message of a break up. And while seven is a lot of songs to talk about a relationship, that's still less than half. If it was around 9 or 10, then yeah, that would be a problem. Still, find this album to be pretty great.

Post Malone’s new album wasn’t supposed to come out on December 1st. It was a joke on the H3H3 podcast. Plus he didn’t even talk shit about hip hop. He just said that hip hop isn’t the type of music he would listen to to feel emotional. Why everybody think he said that hip hop isn’t emotional?

Otherside and paranoid especially give me a lot of nostalgia for some reason. A type of nostalgic feeling and senses I’ve never had. Places I’ve never been. It’s really hard to explain but satisfying when I can get a moment to listen to the songs. Post Malone’s songs hit me like that and I guess since people don’t understand that they don’t like them that much. It’s the chords and melody mostly.

The production quality is great. Love the melodies. However, the album is completely devoid of substance. I feel like Post understands that as well. He's not trying to do anything out of the ordinary. Just staying in his lane and not really taking any risks. He knows what people want and he delivered. I respect that. 6/10

Stay in his lane? what?! Stoney was a hip-hop album. This album he fuses hip-hop with rock and pop in such a way, i love it. It took me a few listens but now im hooked. But to say he just staying in his lane i disagree with. Post Malone's sound may be similar, (in which is the source to every good musician, is there unique sound) but the delivery, mood and style is diversified. I love it. You still get post's sound from stoney and even more horizons that hes expanded upon with his voice in this album...The raspy rough sound and the beautiful tremolo in Over Now is great!
