The Shock Lead system is a new concept to maximise the efficiency of your rigs, utilising improved hooking potentials with minimum fuss. The leads feature a recess in which to plug an anti-tangle sleeve, this leaves the rig exiting the centre of the lead, a devastating edge over conventional lead arrangements. Gone are the days of having to swap and change between lead systems, the Shock System allows for a multitude of rig presentations to be used, from zigs to solid bags the Shock leads will do it all.
The traditional Shock Lead shape allows for maximum hooking efficiency, the flat profile and square shaping mean this lead can be utilised in an array of fishing situations, be it boating rigs out, margin fishing or general angling scenarios, this makes for a very versatile style of lead. The short profile of the leads means they can be incorporated into PVA bag setups, as well as being equally effective in a standard lead clip application. The Outline camo finish remains inconspicuous even in the clearest of conditions, helping you outwit the wariest of Carp.
Featuring a weight-forward design, the Distance Shock Lead incorporates the same improved hooking mechanics into a long-range system. The simple design offers excellent anti-tangle properties even when fishing at range. Looks very smart
Nice lead setup but I can see that anti tangle rubber coming out of the lead on impact with the water if your using PVA foam nuggets on your hook. The nuggets create a lot of drag and, in my opinion, will pop that out of the lead leaving you with a standard lead clip setup when it hits the bottom. Happens all the time with the angle tech leads. Have to use pva string/tape to keep the insert in place. Not used the Korda ones to be fair so can't comment on them.
I'll still give these a try tho. Not even had them in my hands yet 😊

Dose it actually convert into more bites im not so sure korda cog wasn't really popular
Better way to use them is run your leader through the eye, then have a tail rubber pushed over your swivel with hook link attached. Trap the tail rubber in the slot, then you can prick the carp, but if they try to shake the hook, it pops out and becomes a running lead. On a slackish line, they’re going to be confused and likely work the hook in deeper, or just bolt off. And you don’t lose your lead, but it’s a safe rig👌
Will these leads be available in heavier weights? I m fishing rivers etc and the 113 gr is a bit too light for that!? Cheers Dennis
