About once a month or so , a huge group would get together about midnight on a Saturday night and do a race around the belt line around Raleigh. There’d be a big group of 30-50 people there and we’d always draw straws for the “sacrificial lambs” that would lay at the back of the pack and “take one for the team “. If we got jumped on by five-0 , the “lambs” would break off on the first exits that we came to and try to draw the heat off. Some times, I wonder how I am still alive. Good on both of those guys.
