    We’re in Iceland now (June 2023)- your itinerary that we purchased was of great use and help- we’ve been following it for the most part. It greatly helped with planning stops and days for us. It’s been beautiful weather (for Iceland )😃 this week. Also of great help were your videos with tips- all truly valid as we found. Thanks

      Thank you so much Serge! If you haven't done so already and if you'd be willing, I'd really appreciate either a Google business review (g.page/r/CcNakSXbieLcEB0/review) or product review of the itinerary you purchased (icelandwithaview.com/product-category/itineraries/). I hope you're having the best.trip.ever!

    I'm going this June! 😍
    It will be my 5th time but the first time in the summer.
    I would love to drive to the highlands myself but we are there 12 days and I can't afford a 4x4 😭
    Last time I paid 400€ for an 4x4 for 6 days For this tour the cheapest one would cost 1100€...
    So now we booked a daytrip to Landmannalaugar. I'm hyped 😀
    Great video btw!

    Jeannie, It would be a huge help in planning to know the dates of the different festivals/town events 5-6 months in advance so that people can book lodging etc with enough lead time.

    At July that I went to Iceland I didn't need a mask to sleep. I was so tired after the excellent and full days I had there that I went to bed and slept. So do everything you can every day in Iceland and sleep is gonna come alone. In fact they have special curtains against the sun

    We're looking at traveling from the 4th through 12th of June, does Hvítasunnudagurinn fall within this time frame? If so, what would be the best way to figure out grocery stores open? Will campsites be open and gas stations?

      Hi there! These purple flowers are called lupine (not lavender). You'll see them from mid-June thru July/mid-August in a number of places... along the side of the road, near Skogafoss and the church in Vik! Thanks for watching!

    Hello, I am planning a trip to Iceland from 30.5. until 6.6. is it possible that highlands F roads will already be open?

    • @IcelandwithaView
      @IcelandwithaView  Рік тому +1

      It's possible but certainly NOT a definite. Check out this sight with more information on when the Highland roads have opened in the past (this is the most updated brochure, highlighting data from 2018 - 2022): www.road.is/media/upplysingar-og-utgafa/Opnun_fjallvega_en_2023.pdf ~ it all depends on snowmelt so while you're in Iceland, be sure to check road.is before heading out to make sure the roads you want to drive are open!
