AH HA! Louie skated with Simon Woodstock at an early age...that explains everything. Simon did weird skate things and Louie IS a weird skate thing...also one of the BEST things in skating...for over a decade now...almost two I think.
2 decades. Simon stopped skating as a pro in the mid/late 90s. (By 1999-2000 he was born again & jst skating at youth ministry events really.) I worked w/ Simon at an old head shop (selling smoking paraphernalia like bongs, & rock t-shirts etc) briefly in 2001.. And Louie, Jerry, Marc Johnson, Jason Adams, Caswell, Pancho Moeller, Rojo, Nester, most of the Tiltmode guys, & even dudes like Wee-Man, & Simon, & older skate-vets like Steve Caballero, Salmon Agha, Tim Bausch, JJ Rogers, Crazy Eddie Neameth, Todd Prince, Corey O'Brien, etc...All lived at various skate/party houses around downtown San Jose -- like Fernando house, Pink house, 13th Street, & 'the Mansion' -- at one time or another throughout the 90s & 2000s... (And most also worked at Go Skate at one point too. -- A local SJ & SC skate shop that was around frm early 80s, until skating became super mainstream & stores in the mall started selling boards & gear & put the old small shops out of business in the early 2000s.) I was in my teens & twenties during that time (1995-2005), & hung out in the same circles as all of them.. And lemme tell ya, they are all unique creative super-rad passionate fun 'weird' (but in the best kind of way) individuals -- in their skating styles & personalities/attitudes, everything. :) Ahhhhhh..... So many fond memories of those days. --- Ssn Jose frm about 1987-2007 was a very special time & place to be a part of when it comes to skateboarding & those ppl/that culture. Happy memories thinking back on it all now.. Almost 20yrs later
These are all songs Louie has skated to before:) Heavenly- Tool Lightning Seeds- Pure Orchestral Manoevres In The Dark- Enola Gay Freezepop- We Dont Live Normal Lives
