What I would like to see: not only the gear demo's and technical bla bla, but also a tour through the chaos and mess. It's nice to have a feeling of the place, and the surounding. Next to interviewing a specific Namm Stand. Just walking though the area's and doing some live respons, with Nick yeah that's something I would love to see. Don't forget the afterparty's and hangover materials! The best part I would say
Damn, I love the NAMM Show...was last there (1980) when Bill Collings was the new kid on the block. I spent over an hour playing every guitar in their booth. Seagull & Santa Cruz were also pretty new on the scene, and impressed me. Do yourselves and all your followers a huge service by being sure to check out Aaron Fenech, and Fenech Guitars (Hall E, Booth # 2005). Playing and hearing is believing. Back in the day I set up guitars for lots of people, including Brian Setzer, Tom Petty & Steve Vai, before he was on my personal guitar gunslinger radar. I am an acoustic finger style picker of 64 years, not my first rodeo...I ordered my first custom built Jazz guitar in 1974. I managed Valdez Guitars where we built The Battle Axe Bass for Gene Simmons, the Davesickle for David Lee Roth, an Octave mandolin for Daryl Hall, and a Banjo Guitar for John Lennon. Aaron's Electrics are also very nice. Try them you'll LOVE them. This will be Aaron's first NAMM Show. He is kicking butt in the Aussie guitar market.
Very nice introduction. I hope you have a good NAMM experience this year. Looking forward to seeing everything you publish. Thanks for being there for us.
I used to work for Mackie (LOUD) and thoroughly enjoyed my annual trips from the UK to NAMM every January. - Nice intro Nick, brings back fond memories.
It would be interesting to see Kurzweil if they have bothered to turn up Nick, like they did last year! They showed off the new K2061 & K 2088 synthesisers, but even on their website there’s no availability date & prices? 😊
They kindly sent me the manual for the Carbon8 last month. Waiting to see more content about it too. Patch playthoughs are not my thing. I want to see patch creation with the oscillators and new filters before I buy.
Co-sign the request to check out the Modal booth and Carbon. In years gone by synth scoundrels could expect something exciting from Dave Smith and Sequential and a couple of other synth manufacturers every NAMM, but it seems like lately announcements are just made at random, or possibly Superbooth. I’m hoping this isn’t another underwhelming January.
I'd love for you to bring a 360 degree camera next time, I'd follow hours of this in VR. Of course I'll watch it anyway :) but it would be amazing, for those who can't go in person. Also, please go to UDO booth!
Every year the major brands (Fender, Roland, etc..) are thoroughly covered by a gazillion channels. What I'd like to see is info on the small and/or new companies and products - the ones that don't get much (if any) coverage... the "hall E" products if you will.
Anything related to Church organ (pipe organ) sounds from Viscount Legend 70s Artist series (sic!), a midi pipe organ box from Viscount, OR Viscount's Cantorum series, or pipe organ sounds from Nord Stage 4 and that new Organ 3 or Dexibel or any other serious maker would be very very nice to hear about. Ta!
Curious if Behringer will be releasing their JT16 (Jupiter 8) this year...I think it was first teased back in 2019. At this rate it'll be vintage itself by the time it comes out...😁
Sonic state is the best! Make sure you gel your hands, flu is going round the USA right now. My wife is in medical so just get hand sanitizer and gel lots! Cheers from Tommy Murfee, a Patreon supporter in nc!
Hi. Can you talk not only to Native Instruments/Akai, but also Novation to see what the SL MK3 integration with NKS is going to be like (whether it will make use the of the lightguides for keyswitches in Kontakt 8 down the road etc) Also ask Arturia if they're there, whether they are considering hopping on the NKS train with their controllers tx
Hi to all the team. Do you know if John Bowen is going to be ? And if yes, please visit his stand, because it s a Genius guy, and his Solaris is still improving..(excuse my English) and fantastic synth, manu people doesn ‘t know him and all the works he has done in industry (with Dave Smith, Oasys of Korg, waldorf and i forgot all the list… Cheers and good Namm
Studio Electronics, muSonic, GRP and all eventually High End boutique synth manufacture that are focused on building synths with Throw Hole Discrete circuitry, please Nick for the minority of nerds like 🙋🏼♂️
i thought we agreed during the pandemic that namm is dumb and we don't need it and companies should just release stuff whenever and we do the videos online....if I had some product I don't think I would even try to announce it at namm because the release would get lost in the noise if everything else getting released at the same time. anyway I'll be looking forward to watching your videos on all the products while some idiot is blaring some other crappy music in the background and all the audio problems and incomplete reviews specs and "release date Q4' or pending or we don't know, and then watch all the same exact stupid videos on every other channel and then later people won't be able to put out videos because they've gone hoarse from trying to speak over the idiot playing loud music. 🙄
Nick dressed as a GTA NPC to go play with the MPC and I love it
lol 😂
😂😂

already know the best NAMM content will be on this channel
This is great! Look forward to all the videos! The camera person did a great job! Kept it very steady while walking, awesome!!!
It seems odd seeing Nick in broad daylight, Batts being usually nocturnal. :)
I have to give that a thumbs up!
Nickferatu 🧛♂️
Walking to NAMM. A quaint British concept which our American friends are unlikely to understand.
Walking? Why is everyone not using the Hyperloop?
Don't talk about NAMM, man, you weren't there! You didn't see the things I saw, man!
@@Phil-1 I skateboarded to NAMM. Not even joking. That's how we do it round here. 😉☀️🌴

@@HarMegiddo I was thinking the same thing! Cheers.

I couldn't hear a word Nick was saying, that shirt was just so loud 😂 Looking forward to more sonic tales to come!

I'm a tad envious Nick. Have a great/productive show. I'll get there one year.
I would love to see an interview with Martin Gore from Depeche Mode. He should be visiting Namm as usual
Nick and the gang living in UK time and posting their Wednesday video at 3:30AM Thursday California time
Nice to see you guys doing namm

Looking forward to the content Nick & team. Behringer ❤
Keep it up Nick (& team) !
You’re a veritable gear-head Institution!
Please check in with Modal on their Carbon8, not a single review on the thing.

Please spend some time in the Behringer booth and... check if any of the new synths have PolyAT keybeds 😊
If the new sequencer by Reliq is available, please have a look. Thanks for your time and effort Sonic State.

Hurry inside! You‘ll burn up! ❤ If you could tease Pigments 6 out of arturia, that would be nice.
Thanks for sharing

Have fun!! 😃
Do you think Alpha Theta/ Pioneer DJ will be putting out any new CDJs?
Don't forget to hug Uli Behringer and do an interview with him.
I like to see that…
I recently switched my DAW PC to Linux, as an experiment, so I would be interested in any Linux native plugins. I know u-he support Linux...
Scope out standalone sampler/groovebox and recorders please.
@RabeaMassaad 3:29 Can't miss that glorious mane anywhere.
Would be good for you to check out the new SSL18 that Solid State Logic has just announced.

For christs sake, nick, get a hat. Your head changed colour in the 5 minutes of the walk. 😄
Show us donner L1
Just ignore Badringer, if you ask me. Not that you did. But good grief, what a horrible lot that is. The world has enough gear without that guy.
Behringer is the best!!
hey, i’m on the world too and don’t have enough gear
What I don't want to see is spinning camera lol
Hopefully something nice from Behringer
