Love the idea of having a garage! Big enough for one vehicle and the lawn equipment and walk straight inside with groceries to the kitchen. The laundry room is a little wider than it needs to be but it does add storage space which is good. Without a foyer for entering guests that may not be a part of the party if you know what I mean, it’s difficult to turn them away before they’re interacting with your guests, which really isn’t a problem for me but it would be for many. The more the merrier! The living area feels a little tight. I think I would remove the fireplace and just put in a wood-burning stove and a small iron enclosure for it which would make the rooms feel more spacious. A dining table foreight is rare but very nice to see. The office is a nice thing to have but I would also put in a set of bunkbeds (is there such a thing as Murphy bunks?) instead of the library for the grandkids and maybe my desk in front of the window. As much as I love that bathroom, I would probably make it smaller so that I can have a walk-in closet where the bathtub currently sits. Great Kitchen in a low/no traffic area! A galley kitchen is always easier to cook in. The second bathroom looks fine, looks like there’s some storage in the hallway that could become a pantry? And the second bedroom is a little tight but it has a magnificent closet that the master suite does not have. 😢 The back patio is perfect for entertaining with access to it in the dining area. I could live in this home easily! I like it. Thank you!
Personally speaking I would modify few things inside the house, to adapt it to my taste of course.
I was surprised to see the VW Beetle in the garage.

The living room is dark! Its only natural light comes from the windowed doors that are shaded by the porch. Potential light from the dining room window is blocked by a monster fireplace and chimney. The master bedroom has a funny slit window that does not comply as a legally required egress. The master bathroom has no windows, and there's an unusable shower nozzle far from the tub. The secondary bath also has no window. The kitchen is small. This plan is not up to the usual Jasper Tran standards.
