@@AutoAuctionRebuilds I think I still see that grand marquis in the background occasionally that you gave your neighbor awhile ago, and I believe you gave another a audi wagon as well?
That car was the top of the line Opel at that time. It is an incredible riding machine that was able to rival the best Mercedes and BMW at that time. The Opel Omega.
The brake fluid change interval on the Harleys is because they discovered that one failure mode of the ABS module can cause complete brake failure. They treated a one-time service as a recall for those who owned bikes at the time they discovered it but it's a very good idea to continue keeping up with it somewhere with a scan tool that can cycle the module or using an aftermarket solution to cycle the module.
This vehicle was originally designed in Australia at the General Motors factory in Melbourne and South East Australia and was our icon called the Holden Commodore.
Seems fitting that the Cadillac is parked next to an ex-cop car! The UK version (Vauxhall Omega) was widely used by the Police over here, back in the day! Love the channel BTW!
It's not Mopar it's the type of person who drives them or steals them.. Where I live it's all white dudes and we don't have that take over culture here.. We did have about 20 years ago white teens and their crap Civics with fart cans racing around and crashing and causing insurance rates to go up..But those were slow fwd cars that couldnt do donuts in an intersection anyways lol..Then the diesel truck scene etc..Always some type of younger person ruining a certain type of car or truck,90's was the 5.0 Mustang..In the 80's it was guys buying Trans Ams of the 70's with their mullets, original owners of those cars didnt have mullets, hell most were female buyers like the new Mustang.
Driving a manual wasn't too difficult but learning to ride a motorcycle first might have made it easier for me. Though I did burn the clutch and do burnouts on hill starts when I was leaning to drive the car.
This was the Vauxhall Omega in the UK, it would be classed as a fairly large car over here. I have been enjoying your videos over the last couple of years.
Same motor that was in my 04 CTs. It had 220000 miles on it and ran amazing. If I had the extra money I’d be bidding on it. I’d love to have I lit and enjoy it
Here in the UK we had that car but instead of the Catera is was the Vauxhall Carlton or the Opel Senator. My boss in the late 90s had one as it was classed as an executive car and I drove it a few times. Best version (and one of my favourite cars of all time) was the Lotus Carlton……worth a fortune now.
You just did a 5 mile cadi take over Randy lol. My mother had a pearl white catera that she never drove, because of work . I thought it was awesome & she sold it with only 30.k on the clock. 🚘🔥👍. ✌️🫡
You know, they were a nice size. They were nimble and classy with slick interiors. When everything was working as it should, they were great cars to drive with a tight, European feel. The trouble is, they WERE European cars with their propensity to cause trouble and be expensive to repair. The Cadillac Dealership guys had a lot of products to hate and these were near the top of that list along with Allantes!
Another great video as always I enjoyed it alot and I would love to have that Cadillac catera and man it sounds soo good too. And who ever gets this car I know they iwll be happy with it and love it anyways thanks for sharing keep up the great work randy much a good one take care god bless and I will see ya in the next one
Opel Omegas never had auto headlights. The switch for the on/off auto function was replaced with the one for the rear fog lights. They are mandatory in Europe.
You Have A Great Day & Great Week & I Hope You Have A Great & Wonderful Weekend Coming Up There My Good Little Bro Randy Lee Shear Of Auto Action Rebuilds
I like you call it a nice “little car”!!!😂 this was the top of the range and biggest vehicle that Opel built. It was at the same level of Audi A6 and 5 Series BMW. It is definitely not a little car
I am trying Randy. I've watched you for years and I want to buy at least one car that appeared on your channel. I really like the Catera but only have a couple of grand I can part with. But you keep finding interesting cars so I will buy one some day.
That thing has to be worth something or will be one day. I never see those anymore. When I did see those they were broken down in people's front yards. Around the motor city and suburbs they were popular but I swear every house that has one it ended up broken down in the driveway. Never knew what was the reason I just assumed transmissions or something.
Those Cateras are famous for not good things lol. Timing tensioner problems, water pump failures, crankshaft position sensor problems...just a BUNCH of recalls. I had a 2001 and it was an absolute nightmare lol
Copart is probably not the best place to sell something like that. Especaily using Copart GO. many buyers (myself including) avoid any car listed with GO or Offsite sales.
it's a function of his dealer license. he can only wholesale via an auction house and can't retail directly to customers unless he purchased in his own personal name.
Good morning Randy I just saw the video on the Cadillac that you’re fixing to put up fraction and damn I hope you get what you want out of it and I noticed that you said you were going to get rid of all the vehicles that you’re clearing out basically all of them and you mentioned about the handicap bus that you have. How much are you asking for it if you would, please just let me know and I’ll decide if I want it or not just let me know how much you’re asking for thanks I can’t wait to see your next video. i’ll be looking out for see you man
Remember, at the end of the commercial they usually said, "Lease a Catera for only $xxx per month with no money down." Well, believe it or not, I once dated a girl named Lisa Catera.
I never had a dad in my life to teach me anything so I taught myself, but I remember when I first started driving stick shift. I just had to learn myself
Is a Catera a good buy? A super low mileage one (35k) popped up for sale in my area and I’m looking for it as a potential car to pick up for my girlfriend
Your neighbors must love you (with all those cars lol)
They do. They stop by regularly to chat about new ones when they arrive.
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds I think I still see that grand marquis in the background occasionally that you gave your neighbor awhile ago, and I believe you gave another a audi wagon as well?
Those have been gone for years. He moved away a long time ago.
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds that's what I get for doing my own looking lol

Vauxhall Omega in the UK 🇬🇧 😊
That trim panel in the boot is probably to cover the front plate slot if you live in a state where the front plate isn't required. Pretty cool quirk!
The Caddy that zigs. The trim piece is the front bumper/ license plate cover. You’re supposed to remove that for like a German/UK license plates.
Here in the uk they were called Vauxhall omega I loved mine
the plastic trim piece is for the front bumper for states that do not have a front license plate.
My curiosity is getting the best of me. What's with the red truck at your turn around spot? It's in so many videos.
I was thinking the same thing lmao
I’ve been wondering as well
I think jimmy hoffa is in it. just nobodys noticed it yet,
Omg same, I was just about to leave a comment on it
Hey randy bud you don't need a shop maybe find a area and put some gravel down and maybe a big. Carport to cover some of the cars
Opel Omega, had several engine choices here in europe, 3.0v6 was the top of the line here

Best thing i ever did to the house was add a carport. Not only for hail protection but also to block the searing Texas sun.

That Cadillac sounds real good when you pulled off. The kitten got a little growl to it too. Really nice car.
Seems fitting that the Cadillac is parked next to an ex-cop car! The UK version (Vauxhall Omega) was widely used by the Police over here, back in the day! Love the channel BTW!
I agree with you about the Mopar scene Randy. You said it perfectly!

Sell it on Cars and Bids!
Randy howabout concrete landscaping for ur vehs no more Sinking holes Also… ☝🏽
I’m thinking I might start looking for a Catera. Definitely would be the only one in town with one. 😮
That thing is a gem. If you want something in great shape that is a unique ride, it is perfect.
People speeding behind Randy on Sunday:
"Out of my way M.F.! I'm late for church!"
Lucas=The Prince of Darkness.
That Catera is super clean! Love it!
Man Randy its always a thing of beauty to see those cars have a good home, at least temporarily.
That catera reminds me of the Vauxhall omega in the uk Randy it’s in very good condition to be fair around! Great video!!💯👌👍👍
I had an Opel Omega while in Germany, loved it.
The opel omega! It's so beautiful car, man man, the opel omega lotus, is one of the most collectable opel in the world!
If randy was my neighbor I'd give him a thumbs up all the time! 😊 I can't believe nick is passing up on these awesome vehicles.

A friend of mine has the same car here in Europe. Over 400 000km and still driving extremely well.
Opel Omega 3.0 V6 Nice machine
Why didn’t Nick pick That Caddie 😮
You just did a 5 mile cadi take over Randy lol. My mother had a pearl white catera that she never drove, because of work . I thought it was awesome & she sold it with only 30.k on the clock. 🚘🔥👍. ✌️🫡

Car ports and maybe do a driveway extension?
Opel Omegas never had auto headlights. The switch for the on/off auto function was replaced with the one for the rear fog lights. They are mandatory in Europe.
I had that same Cadillac Catera loved it.
I remember when these came out, I hope someone appreciates it👍🏻
The panel in the trunk is for front bumper if u don’t need front plates
You Have A Great Day & Great Week & I Hope You Have A Great & Wonderful Weekend Coming Up There My Good Little Bro Randy Lee Shear Of Auto Action Rebuilds
That red pickup must be broken , its been there a while now 😊
In europe we call it a opel omega
My buddy in high school had an Opel Kadett.....he called it a O-PILE.....
the trim piece in the trunk goes where the front plate goes take the metal braket off and the plate moulding will pop on
In Europe they also made stretch limousine and hurse versions of the Opel Omega.
Wish it didn't have a sunroof. Borrowed for a tour through the California mountains. It truly is the Caddy that zigs!
Hello Randy. Selling the 2001 Cadillac Catera at Copart. You should make double your money.
That camera you using is solid
It will make someone a great car!
Afternoon Randy I like that car and the colour and the rims so thanks for the video
Many Opel/Vauxhaul Cavelier/Omega ended up as minicabs...
I like you call it a nice “little car”!!!😂 this was the top of the range and biggest vehicle that Opel built. It was at the same level of Audi A6 and 5 Series BMW. It is definitely not a little car
Had a lot of Opel Omegas in Sweden, and guess all of Europe. What I remember it was considered a big car here.

Good job Randy, money is always good and it’ll allow you some breathing room. Look forward to new videos
I would love that 5th gen Z34 Monte and the 5th gen Grand Prix GTP😍😍
Great idea to teach Nick how to drive a manual transmission. I have a Miata and none of my friends can drive it.

Good luck in the sale of the unique Cadi Randy 😎😎👍👍😊
When are you going to do a video on the Volkswagen van?
Those Cateras are famous for not good things lol. Timing tensioner problems, water pump failures, crankshaft position sensor problems...just a BUNCH of recalls. I had a 2001 and it was an absolute nightmare lol
Opel Omega in Germany and Holden Commodore in Australia
Whats up man the molding that you hace on the trunk belongs to the front bumper to eliminate the plate

I would buy one as a daily. Looks like a very nice car
looked into catera becos RWD - just not styled like a caddy (not hating- it is good looking)
Caddy is a nice little car. Hope you get your money back.
Oh please, my Tacoma runs best at 82mph. And it doesn’t complain when I’m passing several semi trucks at 115mph on the 2 lane highways in Montana.
The caddy the zigs lol
Remember, at the end of the commercial they usually said, "Lease a Catera for only $xxx per month with no money down." Well, believe it or not, I once dated a girl named Lisa Catera.
Lol
I never had a dad in my life to teach me anything so I taught myself, but I remember when I first started driving stick shift. I just had to learn myself
It’s a big car in the uk it’s called Vauxhall omega here 😊
How much you want for the caddy
Anything over what it's at now and it sells.
that piece in the truck goes on the front bumber where the tag goes
Vauxhall Omega in the UK used as police cars a lot in the day worth a lot in the UK
To be fair, the mopar guy was in a hurry to his sugar daddy 😂
That 2021 green hunda you should put it up on a rental car website
How much for the black grand prix?
$1k
Nick is a very intelligent young man. He will take to a stick like fish to water.
Unfortunately, these didn't sell a whole lot.
The CTS that came after, however, did.
They only sold about 84,000 Cateras in total.
My buick lacrosse super 5.3 is same way it turn headlights on daytime can't see cluster have turn it off
Aka Vauxhall Omega also didn’t Australia has a Holden version of this and this was another one of Cadillac’s failures but I personally like it
I see that you pulled the auction on the Kia Sportage... did it sell? Or is there a Nick video coming up?
What did you do with your Taurus police interceptor?
Is a Catera a good buy? A super low mileage one (35k) popped up for sale in my area and I’m looking for it as a potential car to pick up for my girlfriend
Lucas, the prince of darkness!
Your cars will never make it to the auction. You will have them sold already. I love your cars. 😊😊😊
I remember the cadillac catera fo sho
Holy moly dealership on the lawn Lol
Randy what car do you regret selling the most is it the Cavalier Z-34
Would say I think you should use the Hyundai as a backup car
That car was Vauxhall omega in the uk 😊
Real easy to roll back those odometers. You can roll back a new bmws with an app.
Hey Randy, in ur younger days did u live in California?
Hey Randy
I would love to buy this be of your cars, they are so fun
The word "omega" is the greek word "ωμέγα'' the last letter in the greek alphabet. It actually means big(mega) o.
Hey man do you have any 16” rims for a Chevy for sale
Has it sold yet?
