Can you redo the Legend test. Use 60 tone instead of 4 tone. The metals will sound different. Also swing your coil faster over the target. The aluminium will make a distinct pop-pop noise. That will leave you with two good targets to dig.

The Legend was in 60 tones. Thanks for the swing tip. I deliberately kept the swings speed on all 4 detectors as close to the same as possible.

Really nice test....Jeff..,,surprisingly consistent results,,,on all 3 targets for more accurate identification,,I might try a cross sweep over the targets...to pick up some ro divisions in the ID...
The next big question is...how would the multi-frequency Vhites Spectra V3 do? and minelab CTX 3030?

At least with my Etrac, I get fairly consistent defined audio edges for the US nickel and 14k gold ring and very little silence between sweeps over the pull tab used in the test which is a type that is all too common in the USA. All of the detectors used in the video are better than the Etrac for demonstrating those audio characteristics, especially Deus 2.

I will guess the one on the left is nickel. Middle is gold ring and right is the pulltab.
