I have something to say, watching what's going on today (present) with Mr. Carmelo Anthony; and by that I mean the obvious smear campaign that is going on to retire this man. I just want to say, or rather question, is there a time past or present when we haven't heard something negative about him? "Doesn't pass, iso, no chip, selfish, thug, cut your braids, he has no father (George Karl), he's talking Prison Reform, coaches don't like him, he got everybody fired, not a leader, Lin was better (lmfao), he stops the ball (James Harden won an MVP stopping the ball waaaaayyyy longer than Melo), his fault, should have joined Bron and Wade, loves money, won't leave Knicks, can't win a chip with Melo." That's my favorite. My point is that from day one I've read the stories, and I've heard the critics. I have new found respect for this man. Through all of this shit this guy has never wavered, I watched this guy go out night after night with supreme confidence that no one on the floor could guard him. And more often than not he made you believe it. He went up against some of the most all-star/hall of famer stacked teams in existence. From the Kobes and Shaqs to the Timmys and Parkers. Lets not forget the Rondo, Allens, Pierce, and Garnetts, or the Brons and Wades, did I leave out Dirk? This guy has gone to war repeatedly with some of the best, while having far less of an arsenal. But Despite all of this, the talk, the opposition, he still somehow managed to Wow people, leave you in awe, and have some of the leagues best defenders looking like "wtf just happened". Not the fastest, not the tallest, not the strongest, couldn't jump out the gym like some. No, he had to rely on sheer skill, will, and smarts, something that's almost frowned upon today in the league. To be honest, post Jordan, Kobe, I haven't seen the straight will to TRY and win, the skill excellence, the fear of nothing, and the cold-bloodedness to send a shot straight through your heart in the last seconds since this guy (maybe Curry, but his size is liable). The only one that comes close is Westbrook and Durant, and if Westbrook ever really developed a real shot it's over. I say all this to say that it takes some hell a fortitude to withstand this type of onslaught, past and present, to come out and conduct yourself such as he's done, and still leave it all on the floor day-in and day-out. This video reminds you of it. So, I tip my cap to you Dear Sir. Hope Lebron mans up and gets you there. I watched your journey, and not only do I respect it, I appreciate it. As for the media, haters, and former players turned Analysts that cosigned this witch-hunt because Melo may have embarrassed you, I agree with him. "All critics can Duck Sick" I hope thats not why you're mad. That would be so unprofessional, what happened to the Media Oath?

Too bad that the front office was able to put a good roster around him for one season only (2013)
