Hi sir, I am persuing by three year bsc.food technology graduation programe from a university affiliated college, will that effect my entry into a reputed college like cftri or niftem for MSc.??? Or are their entries only based on the entrance exam and final graduation score??
I have few questions that I am seeking answers for. It would be really kind of you, if you could answer these. 1? I have offers from UK universities for MSc. Food Science and Technology, it is worth pursuing it in UK or any other country? 2) Also, I have been preparing for entrance to get into CFTRI. If I get into CFTRI, which one should I choose (Abroad or CFTRI)? 3) Is PGDM in Food Science and Technology from IGMPI worth pursuing?
1. Yes it is worth to pursue MSc from UK or abroad. Just check the college global ranking on google. 2. Well, if the global rank for college in UK is not good, choose CFTRI. Advantage of CFTRI is placements. If you don't get the job VISA in UK, then you'll have to come back in India and struggle with job. Recently I received a comment from a student who completed Msc from UK but is coming back to India because of VISA issues. Although you can get job here as well after coming back from UK, but there will be struggle. 3. Not worth it.
