Sir can u please tell va the difference between food technology; and food science and dietetics/ nutrition
Very informative Sir. I have been in this industry for the past 5 years and whatever you said is very much relatable. Like you said it is a growing Industry in India. I would also like to highlight the point that there is immense growth and knowledge outside India for this field. Especially in the Middle East, European and New Zealand regions. Also other regions. Linkedin is one of the main sources for finding opprtunities.
Thanks for the appreciation and glad to have an experienced professional like you on the channel. Indeed, there's much more scope abroad when compared to India as of now. And yes, LinkedIn can be great to find such opportunities.
Is there scope for btech FT in India or is it more prosperous abroad regarding jobs and salary?
Happy Republic Day and thank you so much☺️
Welcome :)

That's the spirit!
Hello I'm also student of bsc Food tech in which year u r in???...i need guidance from u plzz help and plzz mention your college
LoL
@@saikatchakraborty3134 its true af
@@harjeetkaushal198 practical ls theoritical bth are we njoy but u only theory
What is B.voc Food Processing Technology..Can u explain sir about it
Degree in food tech don't matter whether you have bsc or btech or msc or mtech.. Most of the companies at starting pays you almost the same ie 15k to 20k.. Because 90% of the foodtech in companies involves a Qa/qc role where all science background people will be there. As far as my experience with 2yrs in the industry I will list out the pros and cons in food tech field
Pros
1.Your knowledge and common sense will greatly improve.
2.There would be an order in job as well as day to day life.
3.Cleanliness improves and can teach friends and family about that.
Cons
1.This field is poorly paid and almost all the companies are running in loss.
2.90% of the people will end up in qa/qc jobs which don't require any rocket science just basic knowledge and common sense is more than enough.
3.Increment and bonus is just a joke in almost all companies especially indian companies.
4.Work hours will be hectic, you won't be having much holidays ie no time with families.
5.Huge competition from bsc, msc, agri, biotech related fields.
6.People will be recruited based on local language, salary, recommendation and not based on knowledge, so even if you are topper the marks are useless here and you will be considered overqualified.
Conclusion-I would suggest people to take bsc over btech because you will get one extra year and pay is almost the same and experience counts in this field and those whose base is making money, Pls don't take this field, you won't earn much.
P. S:All the mentioned above are purely based on my experience and that might differ from person to person.
This confused me even more...what if we go for mtech after btech??...i have done 12 with pcb...there are already lesser no. Of colleges offering this course for us and there are so many vids boasting about greater oppurtunities in this field...what's the point if it doesn't even pay off our fees
@@pearl_8782 There is literally no advantage going for mtech after btech if you want to have a career in industry... if you want to go for teaching or academic purpose then it's ok... pls remember to do m.tech from well established colleges like NIFTEM, IIFPT, ICT, CFTRI etc... if you do mtech from these colleges then there is a chance of getting into r&d of good companies.. All the boasting done by this colleges are fake.... 70% of the passed out people get jobs through references, naukri etc.... and salary is very low that is a reality and with covid it makes life hell.... No sales is happening.... there will be layoffs, low new recruitment....

Thnaaqqq so much finally some one says the reality....before choosing something we should knw the merits and demerits of that....thnqqq ...i have never knw this level of reality

Hello sir I am purchasing Bsc in chemistry can I eligible for msc in food science and technology with the gate exam
GATE is for M.tech and not Msc. Although Bsc in chemistry students are eligible for Msc in food science & technology.
Can u breif me about masters?
Msc in food science or mtech food
I also have the same doubt
Sir please tell food technology colleges in pune
I know about MIT Pune.
Sir I am doing bs hns in agriculture. I am going to choose Food technology as my major. Should I really go for masters and PhD as well or just do my bs hns and find a job??
I can't tell you what you should be doing. Rather, ask yourself what do you want to do. What would make you happy and fulfilled. Think about the choices and try to figure out what is the best for you. I can't decide for anyone what's the best for them. It's your path and you'll have to walk on it on your own.
What can be the salary of a person who had done bsc food science
Depends on the calibre of student, college, and organisation that will hire. Can range from ₹10,000 - ₹30,000 per month.
Please explain the scope of taking MBA after bsc/ btech food technology
Okay, I'll make a video on that.

How i can become a doctor after studying B.Sc food technology?? That is possible sir?
I'm not sure about that.
What about btech food science
Which collage is best for MSc in food technology? In india
CFTRI is the best.
Which stream needed for food technology ? Pcm or pcb?
Anyone
Sir botany student can do msc food science and technology
yes
Sir I have question
I am not able to remember thing properly so like inorganic is my weak
So in b tech food technology there is lot of thing that I have to learn
Mean trying to mug up many thing plzzz.... Sir
Plzzz.... Help me
Sir plzzz... Answer me
I am very confuse
Plzz.. help me
I don't think there's a lot of inorganic chemistry in B.Tech, however there is organic chemistry. If you can't mug up that is fine, no problem. Try to understand the reason why the process happens the way it happens. Try to connect it with real life situations. That way, it will be a little bit easier for you to memorize and retain concepts.
