Its hardly a "jet" Its a small Cessna lol and its paid for by the Crown not the tax payers ! She is 85 years old. Wonder how energetic u will be at that age doing meet & greets & reoresenting the Queen.Even Megaliar (at half the age)found it hard work to read up about whom she was meeting & why etc & having to walk around & be polite & interesting & folk criticise this lady !!

1. touristic activities at residences, castles and other sites belonging to the Monarch* (not Elizabeth II, but the reigning monarch, who ever he/she is) as a corporation sole,
2. Office space renting in office buildings and malls,
3. Fishing rights, and
4. Agricultural and forestry exploitations on land belonging to the Crown Estate..
Each year, those economic activities generate an income of around £300 millions for the Crown Estate.
Following an agreement with the British government in 2001 (I think), in exchange for the abolition of the Civil list, the Crown Estate** transfers all its revenue to the British governement who, in return gives back 15% *** of that amount to the Queen to cover the cost of hers and her family official activities like official receptions for visiting foreign dignitaries, official visits abroad made at the request of the government, and the maintenance and repairs of the Royal residences.
So, in the end, the money paid for the Royals is not the taxpayers' money, but their own money after a detour in the government's purse.
Not covered in this arrangement is the cost of security which, in the end, represent only around £2 per UK citizen.
NOTES:
* Those properties can not be donated, bequested or sold so, when you read in the newspapers that the Queen "donated" a property to a family member often as a wedding present, she in fact only gave the right to the happy couple to occupy the residence. Also, as the "guardian" of those estates the Crown Estate has the obligation to maintain and upgrade those properties. The only two properties personally owned by Royal family mambers are Sandringham (Queen) and Gatcombe Park (Princess Anne). They are financially supported by agricultural activities.
** The Crown Estate is managed indepedently from the Monarchy and the government.
*** The amount of money returned to the Queen has been increased to 25% for a period of ten years to cover the cost of the extensive repairs needed at Buckinggam Palace, but will be reduced back to 15% when its done.

I also know she wanted to have her daughter to abort her baby because she wasn’t wasn’t. She stuck up two royal fingers to her cruel mother and had the baby. This was about thirty years ago. I wonder if the grandchild knows about this. She’s a cruel and vain old woman.

it is older than that, they are the original buildings now listed, the main airport and control tower are further over, I think that area are mainly used for goods now and I suppose private jets

@@chriswar535 That Cessna burns ~189 gallons (857 litres) of aviation fuel an hour on average. Let’s say she took an hour’s flight - that’s about 2-3 tonne of CO2. I wonder what it would have been if she had taken a train? Or an easyJet flight like the rest of us? Completely unjustified.
