I'm not sure why Christians are so obsessed with finding Noah's Ark. Even if they were to find it, all it would prove is that someone built a boat. We already know people built boats, so that's not particularly interesting. Finding the ark wouldn't prove the existence of God, since building a boat isn't a supernatural act. It wouldn't even prove there was a flood, as a boat could be built without one. The story of a global flood would need much stronger supporting evidence; the ark itself is actually irrelevant. A supernatural God requires supernatural proof, which a boat doesn't provide. Furthermore, Christians often search for the ark in the wrong places. If it were found on a mountain, as is often claimed, that actually argues against a flood. Mountains were often once seabeds, indicating the area was underwater at some point. If the ark was left behind after a flood, it would likely be on flat land, not on an ancient seabed. Christians seem to think finding a boat on a mountain would somehow be evidence, when in fact it contradicts the flood story. Of course, even if the ark were found on flat land, it still wouldn't prove anything, as anyone can build a boat. Overall, finding the ark is pointless. I could easily accept the story being based on someone who actually built a large boat in anticipation of a flood, perhaps even one big enough to hold animals. This would be a plausible, if unusual, event. The only issue is the cost involved - building such a boat would have been expensive, implying this person was wealthy or influential. In that case, there should be more records mentioning them outside the Bible. It's also plausible that a real event like this happened and was later embellished by religious storytellers. They could have added details like the flood and Noah gathering all the animals. This would be a very likely scenario if the story holds any truth at all. Usually best lies are based on true events.
The road, which at one point becomes a path going up to that location, for years now, has had a visitor's center and gift shop. This place has been known about for a while. It's not a new discovery. It's more of a religious tourist trap (or would it be a pilgrim trap? IDK).

No actually, the REAL REAL (totally real) Noah's ark used to be here in Missouri... it was a restaurant/hotel until they dismantled and got rid of it LOL
I think at this point there are more than ten Arks discovered in general vicinity of Caucasus. Apparently Noah was an admiral in command of a whole squadron. Maybe that's how he managed to save all hundreds of thousands of animal species?
I feel like BigNik said, "...without further adieu," rather than "...without further ado." That's probably a nitpick, but you know... it's the little things that reveal us, I think. Consider it a BigNik NitPik. Anyway, the number of time Noah's Ark has been "found" in my half-century (yes, you have middle-aged viewers, too)... well, let's just say if I had a nickel for every time somebody said they'd found Noah's Ark with complete certainty, I wouldn't be hanging out on UA-cam. Also, what's with the narrator's breathlessness? Is it supposed to sound dramatic?
Iirc, Egyptians used cubits too and we have foremans measuring tools along with the evidence of markings that align with that tool in incomplete tombs? I think I saw it in a documentary about a very well preserved tomb of a foreman who's wife died suddenly so aspects of her entombment were rushed.
Every branch of science and archaeology debunks Noah’s ark. I can’t believe I still have to say this, but there was never a 600 year old man who was magically within walking distance of millions of animal species, who somehow kept them all alive in a wooden box that couldn’t float nor provide proper ventilation, and then landed on a ruined earth just to commit to the impossible task of repopulation via inbreeding. Every few years, these creationists will claim they found the ark, and it’s always in a different location.

_If_ the formation has any relationship to the ark story, then it's likely something like: Big rock formation looks vaguely boat shaped. And likely has looked boat-shaped for millennia. People in the general area spread stories of boat-shaped formation People in area develop story that explains boat-shape up a mountain... "must have been a huge flood"... [epic of gilgamesh etc] Bible authors [captive in Babylon] adopt and adapt story for their stories. Without ever seeing the formation is much larger than alleged boat size.

However even if it was100% a ship then that would prove.....a ship is there. An old ship existing says nothing about the flood stories.
Why do they continue to think you could put metal pieces in a wooden boat? Its a recipe for a catastrophic failure.
When the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
I became an atheist the moment I watched George Carlin standup
No actually, the REAL REAL (totally real) Noah's ark used to be here in Missouri... it was a restaurant/hotel until they dismantled and got rid of it LOL
I just discovered big nick and he looks a little short.
😅😂🤣😂😅
NGL I'll always take out time to watch London storm clown on Big Nik🤣🤣... imagine if these two dudes met
I think at this point there are more than ten Arks discovered in general vicinity of Caucasus. Apparently Noah was an admiral in command of a whole squadron. Maybe that's how he managed to save all hundreds of thousands of animal species?
Still waiting on Nik to explain why the eclipse didn’t end the world.
Surely you mean beautiful eye
The eyes are the least objectionable thing about him.... Tis the content of the brain I'm concerned about 😂😂😂❤
Iirc, Egyptians used cubits too and we have foremans measuring tools along with the evidence of markings that align with that tool in incomplete tombs? I think I saw it in a documentary about a very well preserved tomb of a foreman who's wife died suddenly so aspects of her entombment were rushed.
Yes, we have no agreement today on the exact length of a cubit.
The mud lifting effect you're talking about is called a "concretion".
Good Grief. I remember this rock formation being peddled as Noah's ark when I was a kid. & This was debunked, decades ago. Literally DECADES ago. Lol
I have watched that last clip like 10 times now and it is still funny. Great video
Based on the ark in Kentucky. If Noah’s ark was that big . I’m pretty sure we wouldn’t miss it dry docked in the mountains
There are sooo many kinds of cubits royal cubits egyptian babylonian etc etc ... most of the time the cubit is the length of the arm from the elbow and is aroundish 18 to 22 inches. From memory bank lol
some cubits are even as small as 17 inches
@@dante99599 I can believe it. I remember 10 yrs ago or so looking cubits up and it was basically dependent on where you were from as to how long a cubit was. The same with a length of a mile/stadia. We didn't have standard measurements until Rome. Again from memory bank lol
Imagine editing his vids. Apparently he can't string 5 words together without a cut. It really is distracting, which is probably a good thing considering what those words are.
How could we miss out on those beautiful eyes. 😂😂😂
Even grifter extraordinaire Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis fame disputes this claim.
A cubit is based on the length from an elbow to the tip of the middle finger. Every civilization that used the cubit, used a different standard.
Everyday I'm reminded of why I escaped the mind-f#ck of Christianity. It's pretentious. Fake. It's the Best place for the Worst to hide. They are horrible blasphemors.
Thank God I'm not ignorant. I'm now arrogant. God loves that more.
Tbf, in car design (of some cars) they intentionally abuse the human tendency for pareidolia to lay out the headlights and grill for us to see a face in it. It'd still be pareidolia, of course.
Why the narrator is so out of breath ?
Mental gymnastics is very tiresome.
_If_ the formation has any relationship to the ark story, then it's likely something like:
Big rock formation looks vaguely boat shaped. And likely has looked boat-shaped for millennia.
People in the general area spread stories of boat-shaped formation
People in area develop story that explains boat-shape up a mountain... "must have been a huge flood"... [epic of gilgamesh etc]
Bible authors [captive in Babylon] adopt and adapt story for their stories. Without ever seeing the formation is much larger than alleged boat size.
This guy looks like what Midjourney would generate if I asked for _"Image of a guy who got brain damage from a mule kick to the head"_
We found a rock checkmate atheists
this is just like all those times they "found" the shroud of turin
