Katherine Jackson Opens Up About Michael's Legacy

- In this episode, Michael Jackson’s mother discusses Michael's desire to be charitable from everything to music and driving around disadvantaged neighbors handing out $100 bills to strangers. Mrs. Jackson reveals that she was unaware that her son was in the Guinness Book of World records for his charitable efforts, but expressed that she knew that her son was giving and this is what he thought about the most.
Katherine also shares what it was like having her son at home under the same roof, before he decided to move out to Neverland. She shares her journey of living at the family home in Havenhurst for 41 years. The family first moved to California when Michael was young and then he rebuilt their ranch style home into an English Tudor Estate, because that was mother's favorite style at the time.
And finally, Mrs Jackson, shares her shock and delight when Michael married Lisa Maris Presley and eventually moved on to marry Debbie Rowe.

She couldn't have been completely unaware of how Joseph mistreated the children, she has to take half the responsibility for the unfortunate childhood Michael had, and turning a blind eye does not constitute wonderful matriarchy. Michael said his childhood was taken from him, yet she tried to interpret that in a way that made her feel better about the fact, as it clearly implicates her as well as Joseph for being less than considerate of Michaels needs to be a child. Personally, I think he was let down equally by the pair of them giving his emotional wellbeing, but because she appears so benign, and Joseph so aggressive its easy to overlook her indifference to it all at the very least.

Thank you Mrs. Jackson! This is a great reminder that those of us that are born for the express purpose to “give ourselves away” in the service of helping our fellow man - without fanfare or publicity - are literally born to do so. And it’s ironic that we often get accused of doing the exact opposite! But we just don’t care because we’re “built” for it and we can’t escape our destiny and divine design. I’ve always felt a kindred spirit with Michael, and although it pained me to witness the maltreatment that Michael suffered, I knew that he was as close to purity as anyone could be. We need more “Michael Jacksons” in our world today ❤

Michael was a giver and still is a giver of grace and dignity. He gave a lot of himself to others and I hope people are grateful for that. I know I would have enjoyed visiting Neverland as a kid and meeting Michael. I would show him books, such as Chocky by John Wyndham, and watch the series with him. Be my friend. A true, honest friend.

He’s in the Guinness book etc - so it’s not out of character nor far fetched for him to pay for someone’s funeral.
