You know people would compare Michael Jackson to Prince. The difference Michael Jackson felt music with his entire being. He was humble enough to bring others brilliance to the table. Prince never wanted to do that. Michael Jackson never needed to be the one playing all the instruments. He loved to collaborate because he understood it made him greater. Prince was self contained but also lonely a lot. Michael Jackson said you don't have too play all the instruments if you know what you want. The creative process was fun but he was stern on his business. I had a debate with someone who said Michael Jackson was mean sometimes. Don't mistake mean I told the person for competitive spirit. His life was unique. He understood that his gift was not to be taken for granted.
Being mean falls under human nature, the difference is how and where you show that side of you. I have heard many stories about MJ and the majority of them have been nothing but nice. If you hear MJ being mean then the situation he was on must be shitty and had no option except for being mean.

Kinda makes sense. I heard that on days of tournaments, top level chess players burn up to 6000 calories just sitting there playing games because they're operating on such a high level. When you think about the level Michael was on to get every ounce he could out of himself to craft the perfect musical experience, it's not that surprising how much energy he would need to do so

Michael Jackson ended up becoming each one of the ppl he surrounded himself with. He had a percentage of Paul M inside him, and everyone of the ppl who he was rooting for. He has Prince inside him, the Beatles, Elvis, 2Pac, JayZ... everyone of them together make up MJ! He was like a sponge that could absorb others inside of him which made him powerful on top of who he already was as a ONE. He was black he was white..he was VIRGIN and SONY.. he was the main product of all of them in one person. He become so powerful the word amazing almost sounds creepy.
I enjoyed this, a lot. Would love to see more. I like the in depth stories of his creative genius. Michael's processes, and the stories from the people that were fortunate enough to work with him. He truly made a mark in our lives in so many ways. I'm 65, and I still love listening to early J5, and his amazing work as a solo artist.

I greatly appreciate Michael for his achievements that we still enjoy; and Will be enjoyed for more generations. Sometimes I think of a word he said once( I can't confirm that but I heard that Michael once said: " I don't want to grow old." And this was a powerful thing to say. And I regret that because words carry on with all the emotions attached to them. And I wished he remembered those words and took them back or replace. Well l hope he's in better place now. But we still live with the pain of loosing him so soon.
I love this!!! This part of MJ is often overlooked not just by the regular public but also by his own fans. they wanna think he did everything with L.O.V.E. all the time and that just ain’t true. He had high standards. He expected the people he hired to maintain those standards. He wasn’t playing around with that either.
He would get frustrated. He would yell at his dancers,singers etc. when he got pissed enough, he would leave rehearsals and never come back that day. That’s how they knew they were really fucking up.

Thank you for your great and interesting video. Michael was a musical genius, who worked on a complete different level in the music industry. There was and there won't be any artist in the future who has the same talent. Just if you think that he invented his signature moves, invented new dance steps and combined it with his own created songs, that's just incredible. But Michael also had a good heart and soul. He was an activist, a humanitarian and just a good human being. I miss him every day!
